Ref did save him from extra blows but the dude still had blood in him to keep going. He's a tuff one. Early stop imo
Am I the only one who notices that in this promotion, the judges constantly stop the fight early??? 🤔🤔🤔
I agree but I don't think it's wrong. I think we are used to see people's bodies go completely limp or almost having a stroke at the UFC, while also receiving some unnecessary hammer punches. It wouldn't surprise me if the refs in the UFC didn't stop the fight earlier because the organization itself told them to stop it after the fighters are completely unconscious and defenseless. Maybe the referees at ONE don't have the premise to make the violence last as long as humanly possible, and they just stop the fight when they can clearly tell the outcome, preserving the fighters health
This was a great stoppage. The guy wasn't covering up or blocking punches his arms were fully extended reaching for something that wasn't even there. Look at his eyes. If you think that's an early stoppage that's your a casual.

HE WAS NO LONGER DEFENDING PROPERLY, HE JUST ATE THOSE 2 ADDITIONAL SHOT IN THE GROUND. IF THE REF DIDNT STEP IN, HE COULD HAVE GOTTEN WORSE. THE WAY HE FORWARD HIS HANDS WHILE ON THE GROUND IS NOT A DEFENCE BUT HIS INSTICT, BUT THAT WONT SAVE HIM. GOOD STOPPAGE

Was not a early stoppage. He was gone and just put his hands forward out of the knock out reaction. HE could have easily finished him off with knees/punches.

It's not an early stoppage. And you pretty much said the explanation for referee's decision: "Woo should have thrown kicks or knees for perfect KO"
Referee did a good job to prevent this from happening, because muay thai fighter was in no position to defend against these things if they came.
good stoppage. woo could have ended him. there ain't no standing 8 count after a knock down, y'all think he's really going to let his opponent recover? casuals of MMA will say it's early stoppage. every other person knows dude was dead. live to fight another day. lucky punch? nah good footwork and the kickboxer wasn't prepared. his own fault.

Boxing is a cold reality for any fool who thinks muay thai is the best in the world of striking. If an mma fighter can close distance to land a punch like that to muay thai's top fighter, top level boxer will surely crush that muay thai champ even more easily.

Francois Botha, who got dominated by Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson went to K1, which at the time was the highest level of kickboxing. He defeated 2 kickboxing legends, Peter Aerts and Jerome Lebanner, under KICKBOXING rules. There has not been a single kickboxer who defeated a legendary boxer.
If it was Tyson or Lewis in his prime, they would massacre the heavyweights of all kickboxers in ANY organization. That's a fact.

You're also completely overlooking Botha went like 4-13 in kickboxing. You also sound like you arent aware that Vitali Klitschko was orignally an accomplished kickboxer.
Alexander Ustinov was a K1 champion who captured the WBA heavyweight belt.
Legendary MT fighter Samart Payakaroon also captured a WBC title. Etc, etc, etc.
@@keithlarrimore Botha's victories over legendary kickboxers were legit. Only kickboxing fans make excuses because no kickboxer ever defeated legendary boxers. Thats just a fact. Botha is 4-13 or something in kickboxing, but two of the kickboxing legends were defeated by him. Remember that Botha isnt the best in boxing. Above him were Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis. And there are legends like Ali, Frazier, and Foreman above these two. Mike Tyson or Lennox lewis alone can beat up any kickboxing legends as a warm up prior to a real fight.
Also, you mentioned few kickboxing people who won belts in boxing. There are so many kickboxing and boxing belts in this world, you know that? While it is impressive to win belts, no kickboxer defeated boxing legends while boxer defeated 2 kickboxing legends.
Another honorable mention is Mayweather humiliating a kickboxing champion, Nasukawa Tenshin. The retired boxer in 40s proved that kickboxers were much less skilled than boxers overall. Even with kicks, results would not have been different if you get overwhelmed that badly.
Boxing is just superior to kickboxing styles, and kickboxing fans just dont want to admit it.
