The whole album is dynamite. Theres not a bad moment on it. It has enriched me and I come back to it every few years. I just wish MM and CB would get on and do another great poo
You know you hold an exceptional album when even a song a bit underwhelming compared to the others (and too short to my taste) gives full delight to your ears. Too bad this journey is over since you have already done Dr Mabuse. But so glad having revisited it through you!
So now, you have the choice: either Strength to Dream to get the Vinyl ending (short instrumental) or the "CD mix" of Dr. Mabuse at 10 min or so, which is the Testament remix morphed into Strength to Dream at the end (replacing the end of the original extended remix). Having heard the vinyl first, I am partial to Strength... that said the CD remix will probably shock you (maybe in a good way) and maybe get some puzzled comments... sure takes a 180 turn half-way and pushes the experimental touch to 11/10
@mightyV444 you are right, I did not see frozen faces. It was definitely the CD version of Dream within a Dream and Jewel, but maybe the tracklist from the vinyl. I always preferred Frozen Faces as a stand alone track because it is lighter than the rest but then, as i said, I heard the vinyl first and played it over and over before hearing the CD.
Oh dear …. Turns out Propaganda we’re just a one hit wonder in my world ( Duel )… don’t set the hounds on me you Propaganda Nerds 👀.. Duel was a right place , right time , right song for me , but it seems I’m not a fan of theirs after all . Good luck to all of you who are though . ✊ 👍🏴
To me this is the weakest track on the album - notwithstanding the epic build-up at the end. It's almost as if they're marking time vefore the killer finale. Which you've done already, but not in its album form. Dare you listen again?
… and I simply can‘t beleave how You can listen to so much Bands from ZTT and still maneuvering around the pearl of ZTT - The Art of Noise.
Actually my favorite Propaganda track. It sounds spectacular.

Thanks. You have to listen to the remix album Whisfull Thinking
came here to say this
Don't forget to listen to Frozen Faces and Strength to Dream!

I love this album!
Classic synthpop.
Simply another great track from a great album.

Has he already listened to 'Frozen Faces' then?! If so, that video must've snuck past me unnoticed 😅

@@df15gadget - Ah! Okay 😊 My Sister's LP from '85 and my CD from the late 90's were identical (in Germany, though) 🙂
Nice song! I really like the vocals!
The whole Album is great. No skips. But my favs are Dr. Mabuse, P-Machinery and the genius couple Duel/Jewel.
Nice Song, Strength To Dream - The Last Word is a good closer too.
Love this song!
I love the fact that you love Propaganda too. It could only be better with a real bass.
Great album, loved it then, still loves it. Trevor Horn did some some great work at that time. Glad you enjoyed it JP😊
Trevor was too busy with Frankie and passed it over to Steve Lipson
You are right!!! My mistake….
Decent album and best one by a German band.
Yes 😀 I also quite like 'Come To Play Forever' by Motorsheep, from the late 90's 🙂

It depends which version of the album you're listening to of course 😏
When does this Germanic racket end. I've had two birthday's since you started!
👍😂
@@group-music You got it right. One big yaaaawn!
