Amazon sucks. I to live in NYS..the Cold Steel AD15..the green one says can not ship this product to your location, but the black one they did send me ok. WTF? Green no, black yes? Same damn knife. They just suck, and you have to be careful which 3rd party sellers you deal with too. I try to stick with my tried and true knife outlets like KnifeCenter ,Blade HQ, DLT, etc. It looks like that first one was a bootleg clone. Damn shame. ECop may have been taken for a ride themselves, who knows.

Yea but I returned it the day I got it, so it's not like I didn't get the refund, we just gotta be wise as to only buy from Amazon supplied items...
And I did return with the reason that I believe it was not a legitimate item
Nobody ever explains why the made one scale totally different than the other scale. It looks like shit for that reason.
Don't know what explanation is needed dude...its a stainless steel frame Lock with G10..I think that is the lure of the knife and that is a typical build for a frame Lock system
You probably got a fake. If even the packaging was not "right", they sold you a fake. That's not to say the shop that sold it knows about this! Sometimes counterfeit knives find their way into the mainstream shops. It's a real problem, especially if a youtube reviewer happens to get a fake one thinking it is real and gives a very bad review. This can destroy companies.
Oh yes ofcourse, either a fake, or a bad one off the line, replacement avispa I reviewed has been one of my fav. edc
