@river3782 it was a thrill of a lifetime . . . him saying that it was Addictive Fishing that inspired him to do his saltwater series was impromptu . . . very cool!
I've fished for large Red's but never on a boat never had the opportunity. Around structure and bridges such as Sebastian Inlet Florida. You have to gear right for them or you will end up losing every fish you hook up on!
Hey im 13 and have bass fished all my life and when i was in the salt it was off a peir or fishing the surf . My stepdad just bought a boat and were going out July 4th to the intercoastal water way in little river i am going to use my heavy action spining rod for red fish i just bought some D.O.A deadly combos like you say is a beginners rig i have 15 lb flourocarbon should i switch to braid or am i good?
Hope you had a great time! I always use a baitcaster with usually twenty pd. braid and a fluorocarbon leader of different strength. Like using a medium with a moderate tip rod. Last year was my biggest red at 43"" on 8 pound fluoro and no leader with a 1/4 ounce gold spoon. Never made any huge runs thankfully but maybe he never realized he was hooked till he got tired. Took 47 minutes to bring him in!
two fishing masters: bill dance "master of the freshwater" and blair wiggins "master of the saltwater". two of my idols, and working together is like my dream. i want to meet both of them.
that was one of my favorite shows of AF!!!! i too grew up watching bill dance fishing, he is the biggest reason i picked up a rod. you are too lucky to have had him on your boat and to land his redfish. to see bill excited with that red pulling drag realy made me smile!!!!
Capt. Blair, What a honor to get to share a day with Bill Dance on the water, thums up to ya! Enjoy your show keep up the good work. Capt. Steve Nixon - Texas
@taweel85 we would rather fish where the majority of people can fish instead of exotic locations . . . it has worked and we are not going to try and fix it! And don't get me wrong . . . we would love to fish exotic locations, but we have to pay the bills.
@taweel85 when fishing for redfish with topwater, don't stop the lure, keep it moving . . . when fishing for trout with topwater, twitch a couple of times and then let it sit.
YES!!! You know what.... I can't watch the rest of this w/o commenting 1st. This is by far my favorite episode. Bill is THA MAN!! Thanks Blair for this one. I owe ALL my passion to fish to the man in the "T" hat
When they are chasing a top water like that I've had best luck when they swipe at it then I pause it. They will kill it shortly after that best feeling ever.
One of my personal favorite AF shows with the Legend himself. Great job putting them on that school and that Hourjack Capt, gotta be a Bucket Lister fulfilled.
I heart this. We get into the river striper pretty good here in east TN. Had 5 fighting over my bait about 10 feet from the side of the boat a couple days ago. Big one in the group was pushing 30 lbs. Big shout out to Bill!
HAS TO BE THE BEST SHOW I HAVE SEEN BY YOU! Must have been crazy having a legend on your boat, that you didnt want to steal the show! We all know you couldve but that awe of having him on the boat, so much respect!
O ya bill is the man,hes what got me realy in to fishing by watching his show, glad to see him n the boat with you & puting him on the fish, did you ever think that you whould have him on your boat?cool seeing bill rell that redfish in FatBoy Dan Fishing
@AddictiveFishing yup he watch you & you watch him & now both of you where in the boat together, i hope one day ill get to @ lest meet him FatBoy Dan Fishing
I would just love to take one trip with you ...Experience of a lifetime I bet ...and I bet the laughs even better ..Nice fish!! I absolutely love to fish and i know I'd learn a lot in that one time as i am intense for the knowledge of it ...It's an art! Thank you so much for sending ...It was a nice trip ..i enjoyed it !! Love Bill Dance ...He's such a character!
Lol thats a motion sickness patch if you are not used to being on saltwater all day its constantly moving way worse than fresh water so before most go salt waterfishin they put on a patch (:
Bill Dance on your hook for this episode. Man, who in the States haven't heard of Bill? If he starts a saltwater fishing show, it may be explosive on the TV set but I've seen others who do saltwater fishing with extreme equipment. Rigs to fight huge fish. Truly the internet is full of competition. Also... This is how you do a web series with adverts. Everything is relevant because I want to watch -this- particular series, and therefor your ads will inspire me to buy from you.
"Bring him to me. I shall net him." = Serious LOL! Bill's right you know, putting perfume on a pig is like him and salt water. I watched him work that huge red on that bass pole, I thought it was going to break in two on him, being so stiff. You know he about pulled a Dance'in Lesson on you, you know, stumbling up onto the forward deck. I hoped you had a life ring big enough for him. He is a genuine klutz when it comes to just bending over. A lovely Jackpot you hooked up right off the bat.
i live in florida im from titusville and i fish everyday but ive never caught anything huge like u have blair i wanna go on a fishing trip with u sometime and can u show what kind of badonkadonk is that and the kind of D.O.A you use im a huge fan man plzz reply
@AddictiveFishing i figured as much with all the brands you plug, would be nice to see you fish elsewhere though, hook up with international guides other than just fishing your own back yard. i dont suppose your demographic would get into that much tho. great show though keep it up.
I checked out your new signature rods the other day at Dick's and you said they were under $100 and they have them priced over $100. Not sure why that is but either way I like em. Also love your show, I watch it when I can catch it on tv and on here all the time.
How did you get that close to NASA? I thought that area was closed off for miles? Of course that was from a book that was written before the government cut NASA funding. I know people who have (supposedly) been arrested for surfing around there. The beach and the ocean are different, but I was told they take that area very seriously. Anyway, cool to see you with Bill.
what a lucky guy you're with that freshly, adventurous lifestyle! Thanks for sharing. BTW, do you know about Mr. Clay Dyer? I've seen his video (watch?v=glrU4JKV1SI) and I think he is such an inspiring fisherman.
Hey Blair, Where can I get your older Signature Series Wright and McGill rods? I'm a fan of the new Flats Blue, but those 8' H cork handle series would fit my reel perfectly? Can you help me out?
Unbelievable, fish these waters all the time, see the nasa launch pads and the VAB all the time and to know that such legends fish these waters really makes me feel blessed to live here
Capt Blair, love the show, glad too see these full episodes on youtube! Can you recommend a redfish guide in the cape Canaveral area? Id love to do some fishing down there in a few weeks. Thanks for all you do!
Great episode Capt. Blair - if you ever get the itch to come fishing in South Africa, I hope you'll let some of your subscribers show you their 'neck of the woods'.
Capt Blair : I am a Huge fan of u and Ur show , Thx alot for Thous Great shows and Thx for keeping me Updated with New fishing staff , Great Show as usual , Keep It up :D
Hey Blair; love your show and would enjoy meeting up with you sometime. If your in the Knoxville Tennessee area anytime soon I would enjoy taking you on a big cat fishing trip. Tight lines and keep the shows coming.
hey Blair where can I get the spinning rod like the 1 you using there? I've look all over the place at Dicks store and here at where im at theres no rods like that
It's great when freshwater Bass fishing guys go salt water fishing. I saw a show where Roland Martin got into some blue fish in the surf...pretty fun stuff! ..............."Look at those teeth!"
Every few months I come back and watch this episode.. it never disappoints. Must have watched it 50 times over the years - pure magic.
Invite Bill back on the boat for 2019! A reunion of sorts! ❤💪💪💛

Capt. Blair,
What a honor to get to share a day with Bill Dance on the water, thums up to ya! Enjoy your show keep up the good work. Capt. Steve Nixon - Texas
Anybody see the sea sick patch on Bill Dance’s neck?
DUH
A 10lb Jack Crevalle feels like a 40lb fish of any other species...And plenty of them because they aren't good eating...
@taweel85 we would rather fish where the majority of people can fish instead of exotic locations . . . it has worked and we are not going to try and fix it! And don't get me wrong . . . we would love to fish exotic locations, but we have to pay the bills.

The big redfish are the breeders. You can only keep redfish that measure in the slot limit. Check your local regs.
YES!!! You know what.... I can't watch the rest of this w/o commenting 1st. This is by far my favorite episode. Bill is THA MAN!! Thanks Blair for this one. I owe ALL my passion to fish to the man in the "T" hat
@jamosdamokos sponsors dictate where we fish . . . they want us to concentrate on the southeast US.
When they are chasing a top water like that I've had best luck when they swipe at it then I pause it. They will kill it shortly after that best feeling ever.
For a single fish, yes stop it, but for a school that are fighting over it, don't stop. Bill was setting the hook before the fish got to eat the bait.
Addictive Fishing 5:29 "bring him to me and I shall net him"
+Addictive Fishing i caught a 47 lb black drum out of coden bayou with a 6 foot castnet.
@MrBclifford The Minn Kota I-Pilot - hand-held remote control for the trolling motor.
@MarbledCheese 20 lb FINS Original PRT or Windtamer braid . . . finsfishingdotcom.
One of my favorite episodes! 2 legends having a blast! Nothing better. 🎣🤙
I like watching those "DVD Tapes" as well Bill.
Who else thinks bill dance and Blair is the best tv duo ever
@dbzgt545 we need more subscribers . . . send it to your friends!

Hey Captain Wiggins! I was wondering if that school of Reds is still alive and as abundant, or did the freeze a few years back kill them off??
Haha I love how Bill Dance mentioned the Battle of the Bridge episode. I just shared that video on facebook the other day. It is so sick.
great show but would like to see you fish somewhere other than your local areas. doesnt your budget allow for you to travel abroad?
I was down there a few days ago and caught my first Jack. Weighed 18 pounds and put up a hell of a fight! Can't wait to go back.
i get so excited when i open up youtube and see a new addictive fishing video in my subs box.....never short of awesome vids
Capt. Blair why arent you using the flats blue rods in these recent episodes?

in this particular episode was Bill using a quantum reel? I know you guys use W&M now but in this episode that was a quantum correct?
AR Hunter Bill has to use his sponsors and we use ours.
thank you. I definitely get that. I just was wondering and you answered my question.
why don't they make the rods that you were using in this video anymore
I wouldn't let Bill net my big fish knowing him he would drop it X___X
Very lovely! Thanks for share. I wish you happines...
Tell Bill Dance he sucks for taking his bloopers off of youtube.....
In texas you would have been able to keep one of those bad boys.
why do they release them?!!!...i wish i could cash one of them!!
Blair wiggins and Bill dance together is awesome, just saying.
Thumbs up if you wish you could catch these in your free time
good video!!! whats the price for a fishing trip like that???
Me in saltwater is like throwing perfume on a pig priceless
How deep was the water where the red was caught? Looks deep
We get some nice reds in SC... try catching one from a kayak
Bill Dance is the best catch you can get in your boat. ;)
16:31 different redfish released than what Blair caught.
9:00 I'mma put some boat on his fanny right MEOW!
what kind of bait are you guys using at 9: 40
Hey Blair; love your show and would enjoy meeting up with you sometime. If your in the Knoxville Tennessee area anytime soon I would enjoy taking you on a big cat fishing trip. Tight lines and keep the shows coming.
