Big help Zachary! My daughter lives out of town with her 2006 Pathfinder and had to take it to the shop since I could not be there to help. I spoke with the auto tech and he described the process and I was sure he was getting to me when he said he had to take the intake manifold off to get to the plugs- AND then had to replace the manifold gasket🤦‍♂. But after watching your video I felt much better about the diagnosis and required repair. That said, I sure wish I could have done it for her as I could have saved several hundred dollars. But at the end of the day, your video validated the procedure and I’ll just have to fork up the money! Thanks again!

Great video. I’m changing my plugs this spring/summer probably the coil packs too as well. I’ve been doing all my own work on this car, a 2007 black pathfinder with 236,000 K! My only problem is I’m 5 foot five so I have to use a friggin no crate to stand on while I’m working on the engine! Thanks for the video.

One trick I use on trucks is cutting a 2x6 to slightly wider than the area where the hood nests between the fenders, then screwing two 4x4 (or whatever fits) wood blocks to the bottom to raise the 2x6 above everything in the engine compartment. Then I can rest on top of that while working deep in the engine bay. I dump or spray waste oil-based paint on it so I can leave it outdoors if needed..

Had a misfire in #3, bought a full set of ignition coils w/plugs, had a mechanic (off the clock) due the work. Now getting code 0300 MULTIPLE misfires less than 48hrs after install 🤬🤬🤬 so frustrating. Great video, but without the proper tools, guess ill have to go back to this guy 🤞🏼

Are you getting any other codes? Did you double check the plugs for coils!

@@Sellthoseflippingcars well, what s mess, pulled out #1 with oil in the hole? Valve cover deteriorated on one of the holes. Ordered 2 new valve covers, will keep ya posted, hopefully no other ‘hidden’ surprises 🥲💸💸💸

Check out our membership program starting at $2, videos as complex as that I would do for a member. Just because that is quite a few hours of time and I have to find a 2005 Cadillac STS to complete that video on. Thanks for watching!!!

A rat chewed a tube from that thing you pick up at 9:28. Do you know what that's called? The check engine light turned on on my 2008 pathfinder and I'm wondering if that's the issue or a spark plug. My car idles and runs like crap. Shakes everywhere.

Clean your idle air controller and your mass airflow sensor. You can pick up some mass air flow sensor cleaner from your local parts store. This should even out your idle problem. What happens is carbon gets built up on the sensor and it does not read the fuel to air ratio correctly.
