  • We stopped our post production services sometime in 2018 and haven't been actively providing editing services or editing professionally for broadcast and TV works. Our previous experience stretch all the way back during the days of linear deck-to-deck VTR editing using A/B roll systems for S-VHS, BetacamSP and Digital Betacam. We also cut on Steenbeck for 16mm editing during film school, and started on early generations of non-linear systems like Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere and FCP during the DV era. Having stopped editing for a few good years, we hope to ditch our old mindset and habits, get used to the new Resolve keyboard shortcuts, and adopt the new Speed Editor workflows. Somehow, we still keep falling back to our old "JKL and IO, edit Lift, Insert and Overwrite" shortcuts from our Avid days, ported to our FCP days, and now to Resolve. We hope the Speed Editor will slowly change our years of habit, muscle memory and editing quirks eventually. Old habits die hard.
