The wad of fiber for the needle felting is called roving. It is the unspun fiber from a sheep that has been carded (brushed) over and over to clean and straighten the fibers. If you have a wool sweater that’s not washable and you wash it, the fibers will shrink and become emeshed together and make a solid piece of fiber. When needle felting, you are basically laying the fiber on the foam and carefully poking it with the needle to compress the fibers together into a solid piece of fiber that is shaped into the desired shape like the lions head. The other colors are added with the same technique in order to enhance the shape of your felted piece. Look up some videos. The regular craft stores have quite a few adorable character kits to felt in the needlework isles. Have fun and learn a new craft. Your videos always make me smile. Thank you for that. I would start with the elephant first. I’ve also seen an avocado and an apple kit at Dollar Tree.

The hair serum is really good. The other one is good too but I like the serum better and the salon selective in the blue tube is also great.

I got the kit for a strawberry felt key chain at Dollar tree
Just rolled shaped the strawberry shape & with the needle I poked & poked until it was all in one then to add the green leaves to the strawberry did the same thing ; grab peaces of green felt to shape the leaf put it in top of the strawberry & poked & poked with the needle until it felt that they were attached
I imagen the giraffe would be the same thing first shaped it & so on ...

Hi Jennifer. Thanks for sharing. I’ve been on the hunt for the Disc Bound Journals kit for several weeks but I haven’t come across them yet. Hopefully the kits do get to us eventually. 🤞. The Ramen bowls are cute but a little flimsy. I did pick one up but I think the spoon will probably break right away. The Flipz pretzel’s are tasty. The bubble balloon birthday number sticks are hard to find, I’ve been searching for those also. They are a “ hot” item. The spice trays are really great. They work great in pull out drawers but I found that they don’t fit in my cabinets. They are too long. Have a wonderful weekend!

Great haul! I’ve watched some videos where crafters embellish the keychains and they turn out looking great! I’ve always wanted to get into felting but it looks so difficult!
I don’t usually look in the makeup area. I would see about using those Harry Potter brushes for crafting or just decor
