Nailed it on the "board tech" mumbo jumbo. Gotta ride the board a few times to even begin to get used to it, only then can you start to make an assessment on whether or not it suits your style.
One additonal advice (cable rider, but I don't see how it would not apply to boat): try the board with good bindings of correct size. Ideally your own bindings, the one you like on your current board. Because with poor binding (like the one on your friend board he insist you try, even if he is 2 shoesizes off your feets), all boards will feel like crap. When changing gear, better do it one element at a time, not both board and bindings at the same time. Which is a pity given vendors really really like to sell you board+bindings packages...very pretty board by the way ;-)
All of those are great choices!! I am currently riding the supreme which is a switch up from the rxt but I always switch back and forth between boards. Whatever feels the best!
I’ve been in the rxt 148 the last two seasons. I love it. I like fast boards though. I came off a company/mutiny vandall and a humanoid oshea before this. All very similar feels in my opinion. Your riding looks smoother on the RXT for sure.
@@BraydenGeorge yeah dude… the 148 is where it’s at… you’re a bigger guy like me, the extra surface area makes a big difference. The board is so light that the extra bit of length isn’t noticeable in the air at all.
I have a supreme. I hate it compared to my remedy. But my supreme is also too big for me. I followed the shawn murray advice of "size up". I actually just ordered a ronix "rise" this morning. It's a women's board, but I don't think that matters. It has the air core which I really want to try.
Look I’m not trying to hate on Ronix. But my homie Corbin has 3 ronix boards and 2 ronix bindings in the trunk of his car. All of them are broken. I’m a hyperlite Stan until I blow out my knee.
i feel difference between 3stage (which helps to land zeachies, but accelerates not that fast) and continuous (which accelerates as hell, but requires some accuracy on landing) that's why i use 3stage on plastic (i'm quite inaccurate) and continuous behind the boat (i'm too lazy to gain speed by edging hard) all other differences are too minor, moreover: every board should be ridden for a week or sort of - just to rate it, you're right nevertheless - that's my private opinion, probably, someone is good at testing a board by reading specs, lol
@@BraydenGeorge lol thanks! I got the RXT this year too. Love it but struggling with the pop on my toeside trip flips a little compared to my last 3-stage board. I notoriously leave early so that's on me haha

Too many times people assume too fast, both good and bad! Thanks for stoppin by g!

Super good point!
Some people like stiffer or softer bindings as well which definitely changes board feel!
I have the RXT and really like it. The two boards I really want to try is the Hyperlite Capitol Loaded and Liquid Force Unity Aero

Wait whoa I had no idea they made a 48?! I need to give that a go!!

Yeah I've ridden a 56 on cable for years and love it. I'll give it a go!!
@@BraydenGeorge That’s prob what I would do too… i wish there was a cable in SoCal… we’ve got nothin… 👎🏻

Tanks g!
Hey man what speed and line length you ride? You're taking those tricks huge! But still wake to wake!
I ride at 75ft and anywhere from 22.3 to 22.5 the 2 boats were A24 then later in the video a 23x star s with like 10k lbs of water😂

Just really make sure you pop, then flip if that makes sense. At least that's how I have to think about it haha
Yes! I agree

How to choose the right board: Think about getting a Liquid Farce, then don't.
