ok so you want them to make it from nothing ... alright .. you want them to make it with no existing budget? ... alright ... you think planetary annihilation gave them enough money so they could do it? ... think again ..
lol buddy chill. I think the budget was just a little too much and the ambition was a little too high. They still raised a lot of money for this title and I think they still could have made a decent project that would have grown. They raised almost four hundred thousand dollars. For an Indie title, that is huge. I also think this project still has a chance if they start a little bit smaller.
you merely show that you have no idea how developement or the gameindustrie works ... staying small? .. doing small projects? ... small projects are one in a million .. has nothing to do with me being chill or not
You just got really sarcastic really fast. It was just a nasty way to bring up your points. I get that games are expensive, but a project from an indie company can't hope for 1.4 million dollars. I hate to use this as an example , but look at games like Minecraft. It started with little to no budget and look at it now.
Pixelated Warrior and how many games that went the route the dev of minecraft did were as succesfull? you gave me ONE example ... and that's it ... minecraft is not the norm ... it's the exeption ... granted so is PA .. now over the years a fair number of rts were released ... grey goo, act of aggression ashes of the singularity 8 bit armies, meridian .. non of those got even near the sales PA did ... the only current succesful rtsgame is starcraft 2 .. company of heroes didn 't do bad either ... but that is because those games have well known companies with the propper budget and marketing behind it other than that rts games don't seem to do well unless they are a well established franchise or truely unique .. and for the latter you NEED to take risks and be ambitious
if people are confuse on what is missing here on PA (their last kick start game that was PROMISED) is a good list: 40 player games Multiple windows (though there is picture-in-picture) Multi-monitor support Cannon firing units at other planets as shown in the trailer) Save games and offline mode.
Arbie8327 the bashing is because we are still waiting for parts of PA to be released like being able to destroy entire planets and planet to planet weaponry, but i really want to play this game with like zombies, man an rts zombie game would be so great and in that art style

They just released a statement about PA. They will keep the game up to date. They're asking for $1.4 million. If this was two years ago. You could get funded. But after all the bad KS experiences most people have had in the past with other companies (Double Fine). I doubt that this game will get fully funded. But I could be wrong. I've corrected my statement. Sorry for any confusion, I may have cause.
Infinion Monday night combat, they abanded that to work on super monday night combat which they then abanded to work on PA. I stopped trusting them after monday night combat :(
TITAN only happened cause everyone complained when they launched this, Therefore cutting of there income. therefore they need money to stay alive but nope not good enough for all the idiotic kids playing games.
You have just the thousands seeking to avoid negative reviews about the creation of a "New Game", because after all they are also of the revenue dependent. In addition, there was every Planetary Annihilation player open 14 € Titans to purchase an upgrade (instead of 39 €). If you Titans did not want to buy an upgrade, you are to blame. In addition, in the Kickstarter to PA was not placed on the Titans functions envisaged, thus you can not on the Titans for PA-Funder appointed should be free.
UBER or formal Supreme Commander developers, I don't care who it would be, BUT THEY MADE EVERYONE ANGRY WITH PLANETARY ANNIHILATION AND STARTED THIS KICKSTARTER. HOW COULD IT NOT FAIL?!!! ...But concept is STILL.SO.GREAT. They sould've started THIS FIRST. It would made EVERYTHING BETTER.
Well I never expected a comment I made 2 years ago about a dead game to get a reply. Though if a game like this would be annouced or released I certainly wouldnt dislike it. Its nice to see that people still watch this trailer even if its cancled tho.
I guess they make fancy animations to get people excited and the final product would most likely be like half good as what you see in this animation. PA anyone?
Arethrid no, that's what the game will look like, they say at 3:29 they will try to make the game look like the animation trailer has much has possible, for all we know that could be in game graphics :)
Show of hands, who wants to resurrect this and make it a reality? Could use some new ideas in the industry, especially as some of the big companies seem determined to set themselves on fire with horrible business decisions.
***** You need to stop defending Uber on every comment. People have the right to an opinion. I personally feel burned after supporting Planetary Annihilation and am unhappy with what was released as a 1.0 version of the game. Uber has the right to start a new project or do anything they want with the company. This time around I'm not interested. Best of luck to them.
***** Almost anyone can say just about anything they want to on the internet. Some are legitimately upset with Uber. I could care less what you decide to do with your time. After reading though the comments I found it annoying reading your reply's to people with legitimate grievances. It's not misinformation that Uber did not deliver of promised features. If you want to go all Fan boy on Uber's junk that's your business.
Currently making a fan fiction about this game, I had to do some Google searches To get the names of some of the things you see in the trailer and I even made up a few units and structures. Tell me if I should stick with it as I haven't started it yet, and maybe give me some ideas of new creatures, robots, and structures for use in the story, and how will I make it work, I just can and you will see eventually.
RapidFyrez I'm not the best person to explain this, but Uber haven't finished PA yet, there is still no offline mode, lan play, and no local servers, those features was promised on day one, so unless they add them in before the kickstarter campaign ends, I fully understand why they don't want to back another game from them.
People people PEOPLE! calm down. Uber entertainment is a big company that has many games under way all the time. PA is just one of them. If they really did just up and leave, the amount of negative PR would be too great and they would lose a lot of supporters.
TheInnsanity "today, we announced a new Kickstarter for a strategy game. Plans for Planetary Annihilation’s development will be unaffected. Human Resources’ team is a separate team." this was from the PA news feed you can decide whether or not you trust it for yourself.

This looks like and amazing strategy game i remember when i saw this a year ago and i love it because you can get aliens AND machines and they all look so cool plz finish it
Np, another tip would be to donate a bit of money yourself (like 57,64$), so people have the Impression that a lot other people Funded before them, since nobody wants to go "first".
Im planning on carrying on the project, if the game creators(along with all the crew) will allow me i would like to raise funds and be allowed to carry on this games legacy.
tomoki scott imagine if you streamed the game and audience members could direct control a small human. See how long they can survive this battle between machine and monster. Imagine the perspective you'd get from ground level
So, for the people got recommended this video years after its release, Please note that, while the game concept looks fantastic, at the time Uber Entertainment had struggled to make value out of Planetary Annihilation, and Super Monday Night Combat, Both games they had kind of bet hard on. They had a lot of mediocre game releases afterwards, and while none of the games they released (that I know of) sucked, they just never pulled in enough people. Planetary Annihilation was the last strategy game they made before trying to kickstart this, and there was a lot of bad press, especially due to the Titans fiasco (long-story short, the base game had a ton of bad or mixed reviews, they relaunched it entirely under a new store page and made people have to buy Titans, to try to avoid the bad reviews, which got them even more bad reviews. Titans didnt even add much to the game, they just made you spend more money if you already owned it, then eventually gave it out for free anyways.) Game concept was fantastic, basically, but there was no faith because of previous practices.
I am back to say that Human Resources need more people to bring it back and to some how support money or not spread the word to the developers and Uber

Stahp pls T_T
But they sure can release DLC...
I still want this
Too bad they destroyed their reputation with Planetary Annihilation, this looked fun
+Caio Espínola i don't see why ppl say PA is bad... yes is a bit too simple but is fun tho
+wabachi ever heard of PA titan?
Hellios55 yes what about it?
+wabachi adding a couple of units and charging full price for it?
Warren West i thought almost every game dose that hahaha
This could have been awesome if they didn't ask for $1,400,000! Its a shame, this looked fun.
ok so you want them to make it from nothing ... alright ..
you want them to make it with no existing budget? ... alright ...
you think planetary annihilation gave them enough money so they could do it? ... think again ..
lol buddy chill.
Still hopeful this will be a thing one day
hmmmm ...sacrefice teddybear to cthullu or plug myself to a powergrid?? maybe then machines become sentient and respond to make this game ...
Not happening sadly
Just got to recommended to me 9 years later.
NO I mean did they just SUMMON CThulu?
Jean Urmeneta better yet......scientists summoned cthulhu
"Oops"
Basically...and thats what we missed out on...
Yes yes they did
Was that demon dream star OS in the end?!
yknow, now that I think of it, this game could actually be replicated as an overhaul mod for planetary annihilation
10 years later i'm still thinking about this from time to time
I saw the trailer today... I realise, that it was 9 years before... I´m sad now :(
Year 9 of waiting for this game to release
Why is this in my recommended??
Valkyrie Valkyre same here
same. someone was digging videos
Me too 😭
is there something wrong with it?
sorrow the greninja assassin is
if people are confuse on what is missing here on PA (their last kick start game that was PROMISED) is a good list:
40 player games
Multiple windows (though there is picture-in-picture)
Multi-monitor support
Cannon firing units at other planets as shown in the trailer)
Save games and offline mode.
40-player games are technically possible.
Starcraft 3 looks strange...
+Spored Its called starcraft 2, its like a chapter 3
Kaiyu Take It was a joke
How epic this game could have been.
Still coming back to this video in 2020 and hoping it will ever get made
Looks fun, dudes.
Doesn't matter, it'll be another set of broken promises and "we delivered!" when they haven't.
*****
Same here. What's with all the bashing?
***** How about offline mode, and dedicated servers? they aren't there yet, and they where promissed.
Arbie8327 the bashing is because we are still waiting for parts of PA to be released like being able to destroy entire planets and planet to planet weaponry, but i really want to play this game with like zombies, man an rts zombie game would be so great and in that art style
Ricky Noton Er... Destroying planets and interplanetary nukes have been in the game for a while now.
Squishy reapers vs giant geth?
Santiago Gitgudm8 you just blew my mind
Santi M H.P. Lovecraft hell vs the machines from The Matrix
Zaira?
If they dont make this game, someday i will make a game likes this (when i become a programer)
*mark my words*
thunder slash :v 1 what company name?
Your words have been marked.
Marked. How’s it going?
@@pyroboss1013 its not even an idea right now
but, since this commentary i already managed to learn 3 different programming languages (C#, C++ & python)
and already making my first game in unity (the game its not a big thing, but its helping me to learn)
yes, kinda slow progress, but its constant jeje~
@@-Raymundo I applaud you.
no alien race can stop civ gandhi
kek
I concur.
Top kek
wow 384 thousand dollars raised and it got cancelled. what the fuck guys that's bullshit
You need ALOT of money. Looking at the price tags it looks like they are trying to doge all publishers.
Cooltrain yeah but from what I saw they raised that pretty quickly meaning it could've been way higher
they do explain their reasoning for cancelling, but yeah it is pretty sad they cancelled it
hopefully they come back with it later
www.kickstarter.com/projects/659943965/human-resources-an-apocalyptic-rts-game/posts/1023675
D4G they also developed a game then didn't bother to update it to the latest version but instead tried to sell it as a new game
You don't know how kickstarter works do you?
They just released a statement about PA. They will keep the game up to date. They're asking for $1.4 million. If this was two years ago. You could get funded. But after all the bad KS experiences most people have had in the past with other companies (Double Fine). I doubt that this game will get fully funded. But I could be wrong.
I've corrected my statement. Sorry for any confusion, I may have cause.
I'm glad you did the right thing.
***** Sorry to anyone I may have confused with my last statement. Yes, they're still care about PA and have a team of people working on it.
If they release the game half finished like PA, i don't think people want to trust them more.
Aiscence What would people not trust them for?
Infinion Monday night combat, they abanded that to work on super monday night combat which they then abanded to work on PA. I stopped trusting them after monday night combat :(
Why is this being recommended 9 years later
Wow, this game looks amazing! ...
"Uber entertainment"
Nope, nope nope nope, you are not going to steal my money again
hey man I'm lost what's wrong with Uber entertainment? what did they do wrong?
+Platinum planetary annihilation TITAN that's what they did wrong
TITAN only happened cause everyone complained when they launched this, Therefore cutting of there income. therefore they need money to stay alive but nope not good enough for all the idiotic kids playing games.
+cough medic it should have been a DLC, not a new game
Nod Fanatic an you tell me how PA made people angry
cats 4 ever they released PA then senn Titans content as full game.
PA anyone?
Arethrid literally the only thing PA doesn't have yet is asteroid belts and they are still doing good work on it.
Arethrid no, that's what the game will look like, they say at 3:29 they will try to make the game look like the animation trailer has much has possible, for all we know that could be in game graphics :)
Emmett Friedrichs well when they're done with PA Titans, they could revive this project, taht would be so awesome ^^
Show of hands, who wants to resurrect this and make it a reality? Could use some new ideas in the industry, especially as some of the big companies seem determined to set themselves on fire with horrible business decisions.
So this is the reason Uberent released Planetary Annihilation before it was finished. This doesn't put them in a good light.
No it was actually because they partnered with another company so they could make physical boxed editions of PA.
***** Sure, what they don't have a right to is spreading misinformation.
You need to stop worrying about what other people do with their time.
***** I'm not "going fanboy", I'm being fair. PA isn't perfect, it was released too early, but the game is still pretty decent.
I'm not sure how I feel about this.
Feel bad

LAS I SWEAR
Zack Owens lel
I watched this trailer 2 years age after I saw PA and looking at the comments now I feel kinda sad that this game never continued
An RTS based on lovecraft fighting the machines on a planetary scale, damn looks amazing, if only…
Currently making a fan fiction about this game, I had to do some Google searches To get the names of some of the things you see in the trailer and I even made up a few units and structures. Tell me if I should stick with it as I haven't started it yet, and maybe give me some ideas of new creatures, robots, and structures for use in the story, and how will I make it work, I just can and you will see eventually.
DEW IT
Oooooooh that sounds interesting!
Have you gone full circle and dropped your project already too?:D
Go on boy, we trust you
Don't ask for a lot of money and then drop it in 2 months
makeee the gameeeeeee
Anyone else still waiting for this game?
🤚
It’s already done
Please bring HUMAN RESOURCES back to life!
This looks good but I am not going to back this without PA being finished
Same, I'm still waiting for offline mode.
The PA team is still going to work on PA. The HR game has a different team working on it.
If they really did just up and leave, the amount of negative PR would be too great and they would lose a lot of supporters.
they said they're done with PA
it's not being finished
TheInnsanity "today, we announced a new Kickstarter for a strategy game. Plans for Planetary Annihilation’s development will be unaffected. Human Resources’ team is a separate team." this was from the PA news feed you can decide whether or not you trust it for yourself.
Stephan Floyd
Yeah that's generously assuming these people can read.
they are not. they can develope 2 games parallel AT MOST and even that is stretching it thin.
franz müller well at least they can support making a game and a mostly completed game.
I was so excited, now i learn it is cancelled
OH MY GAWD, ITS THE GAME I RANDOMLY HAD A VISION OF A FEW WEEKS AGO
THe TH-cam algorithm just showed me this video again. Is it a sign that it's going to be made now?
its propably recomending it because the guy who was art director for this game was also in Kerbal space program 2 wich studio got closed now in Early acces for 50 EUR game .
This looks like and amazing strategy game i remember when i saw this a year ago and i love it because you can get aliens AND machines and they all look so cool plz finish it
C u pls start this back up?..
YES, PLEASE
Creaper137 help me do that !! www.gofundme.com/5cg7994
Almondtax12 did you also post this in the UBER forums?
Matthias Reicher thanks for reminding me!
Np, another tip would be to donate a bit of money yourself (like 57,64$), so people have the Impression that a lot other people Funded before them, since nobody wants to go "first".
I really hope this project comes back. I’d really enjoy it.
Im planning on carrying on the project, if the game creators(along with all the crew) will allow me i would like to raise funds and be allowed to carry on this games legacy.
tomoki scott imagine if you streamed the game and audience members could direct control a small human. See how long they can survive this battle between machine and monster. Imagine the perspective you'd get from ground level
sounds cool and fun
tomoki scott DO IT
tomoki scott yes just yes
yyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssss
BRING IT BACK
Yah bring it back
Let's hope that they change their mind and give this game a second chance, RTS games 4 life
TH-cam was evil by recommending this cuz now I have to live without this game.
It still makes me sad that a game I was looking forward for as a child gets canceled.
Oh, hello algorithm. Haven't thought about this is a while
Re-launch the kickstarter!!
Titans didnt even add much to the game, they just made you spend more money if you already owned it, then eventually gave it out for free anyways.)
Game concept was fantastic, basically, but there was no faith because of previous practices.
As a lover of RTS, man, this idea seems so fresh!
R.I.P Human Resources. 2014-2014. Beautiful game idea. Let us hope that Uber Entertainment revives this game before they forget about it.
TH-cam please stop torturing me by showing me really cool failed kickstarters
I am back to say that Human Resources need more people to bring it back and to some how support money or not spread the word to the developers and Uber
That last line. "Now all we have to do is make the game." With a smirk afterwards. Lol.
