I have not seen a single petrol automatic gearbox BMW from those years and before, that does not have something wrong with its acceleration. This feels slow as fuck, just like my 530i. The engine sounds like it's about to fucking kill itself, and the car is BAAAAAAAAAAAAARELY pushing 140 km/h. Rebuilt VANOS, new MAF sensor, changed spark plugs and coil (NGK plugs and BOSCH coils), changed oil, filters, even put a K&N filter on it. Changed all the gaskets you could think of, no vacuum leaks or anything, engine FULLY serviced. Car still slow as fuck in the high RPMs, I haven't looked into servicing the gearbox, as that will probably lead to it being recycled, for which the cost is just ridiculous. Fuck auto gearboxes on these cars seriously.
@@Titansilber.540i i guess some cars have to get slower over time I've seen a v6 sonata does 0-60 in 7.2 seconds but our car made it in 15 seconds, so much power loss

from the moment -the accelerator pedal was fully pressed, otherwise minus 0,5 second maybe
