Hardline giving UAVs at 3 kills instead of 4 makes it a must for me. The difference between getting 4 kills in a life & 3 is crazy. But yeah same feeling overall.
My issue, is I've unwillingly started a reload while picking up ammo, opening doors, etc. Then I die because someone comes around the corner and I can't cancel the dang reload. Drives me crazy.
I'd like to see a comparison of the original MW2 with this new one, movement, speed, ads wise etc, just enough to solidly answer whether this slow, often awkward, movement is a return to the "best COD ever".
+1 to this. Looking at some old gameplay from MW2 I do think it was slower than the new game, but I think a lot of it has to do with the addition of slide, dive, and tactical sprint. In OG MW2, when your sprint ran out you had to walk. meaning you couldn't move around the map quite as quickly and had to slow peek corners more often, but it never felt slow because sprint was as fast as you could go, but regular walk speed wasn't slow. In MWII, walk and strafe speeds are unbelievably slow compared to sprinting and sliding.
@@ecole146 OG MW2 have marathon perk allow you sprint like a mad man. as well as you can spam strafe and jump shot pretty quick. It doesn't have movement penalty like MW2. And the map design is not huge unless map like wasteland.

One could argue that the longer KS call in time is to help with the UAV spam and to also make it so you're more vulnerable for a time. Granted I'm not sure IW really *looked* that far into it, but with everyone talking about the UAV spam and not having ghost at the start maybe its good to have the times be longer.
If u lay down while calling uav or strwak it calls the streak without pulling phone out, complete animation cancel. Works on laying down and getting up.
First of all Fast Hands should be in 1st perks. Second of all I wanna more perk packages. Why do I have the option to have 12 loadouts but only 5 perk packages
It’s pretty sad that they have to design slower animations in order to justify Fast Hands. Sounds like backwards game design. Edit: Keep realism out of arcade shooters. If I want realism I’ll go play Arma or Butthole Scratcher Simulator 2023.
How the fuck do you get that conclusion? They just made animations slow. There was absolutely nobody who developed the game that thought “hmm I’m gonna make the animations slower so people will use fast hands!” That is dumb as fuck.
Nope it doesn’t seem to me that is the case, they tried to get closer to realism, they’re not close to realistic but they really upped the authenticity of components
THEY NEED TO ADD MORE CUSTOM PERK PACKAGES! 5 isn’t enough. Idk why it’s even a thing. Should be able to put any type of perk in every class like the other CODs
I love fast hands but only behind hardline perk. What would be so nice is if they bring back the wild cards in compensation to maybe weapon attachments. Perk greed was nice to bringing novelty to the game , not everybody had the same perk/weapon attachment line up as you and that was genuinely fun
Personally, I like that streaks take longer to call it, if you’re doing well enough to be calling in a killstreak it’s mostly fine by me that you have to get out of the action just a little before calling a streak. Not a huge disadvantage but just enough to slow me down. I usually just quickly drop behind cover for a second or activate all of them right after I die
Some ppl don’t mind, but it is very annoying to others when many changes are made to revert the skill ceiling. While these animation times being doubled is a very small contribution to that, it is annoying when the ttk is fast and the spawns are rather broken (based on team proximity not proximity of enemy team which ruins fast paced modes like hard point) I don’t find that these things do anything to make the game slower paced anyways (assuming that was their main intention)
Fast hands it’s critically important if you’re a team player and use a launcher to shoot down uavs. The launchers weapon swap speed and reload speed is very slow (as it should be). And the quicker you can shoot down a streak and swap to your gun the better because you are incredibly vulnerable when shooting down streaks.
Would be nice if Fast Hands made pulling yourself out of the water faster because that animation is brutal. I agree that streak call-ins are way too slow, the character literally just pushes a button, it doesn't have to be that slow. Also, hate the delayed perk system in general.
Slow n' tactical player here. I generally don't mind the slower animations, but that's probably because I tend not to rush unless I ABSOLUTELY have to get somewhere. Be that away from a grenade or into cover or to defend / attack an objective. A few seconds isn't much to me, as I generally prefer to take cover to reassess my position on the field anyway. Usually is a good time to call in a UAV or whatever I have on hand.
I ran fast hands at first, but then I switched to cold blooded due to so many VTOL jets being used. I’m genuinely interested in what you have to say, maybe I’ll switch back!
I think the slower streak call in is a positive thing as it forces the speed freaks to pause for a second before they can corner jump over and over again.
That's the exact perk combo I was running until I swapped Double Time for Overkill. Doing that made Fast Hands (almost) irrelevant so now it's Cold Blooded. Went in to shoothouse with the AK47 w/e its called and the PDSW (need something from it) and I freaking demolished.
If you call uav and cuav at same time it should be in same animation of that phone, just pressing different buttons. And it makes sense since we are all pretty much call them at same time. I would suggest to do with all phone streaks if called at same time. I hope you got my point
The cold blood glitch is a massive problem. If you dont have cold blood on then swap to it you will still show up on thermal scopes. If you dont start a game with cold blooded it simply doesnt work. This is most noticeable in ground war against thermal scope snipers
I can't tell you how many times I've died on shipment trying to throw a stupid cluster mine. That streak has got me killed so many times. It has such a slow throw down time.
Personally I prefer the spotter perk. Being able to see everyone's equipment is so useful to help figure out where people are, and getting hacked claymore/bouncing Betty kills is so satisfying when the chat is on haha. Being able to hack through thin walls is Soo good on alot of the maps too. EDIT: also as a side note I don't care too much for the fast reload speeds because after a gun fight I typically die to how slow the standard health regen is rather than getting caught half way through reloading a weapon. I can reload pretty much any weapon and still have to wait for the health regen to kick in before I can start moving again anyway
Hacking enemy equipment is the most satisfying of kills. If you haven't tried placing two c4's on the ceiling and putting up a camera, I would highly recommend. You can detonate the C4 instantly without leaving the camera :D
I’ll say it again, when putting time in a perspective of deaths: 5 seconds to call in a uav and counter uav means even with the slowest ttk smg you will die a total of 17.86 times.
The time it takes to call in a killstreak isn't nitpicky at all... I can't even count the number of times I've been gunned down like the degenerate I am for thinking I had the time to call in a UAV real quick. By the time you're able to even begin firing, they've already gotten you down under 10 health most times (if not just already killed you).
There's only one way to speed up dead silence and killstreak call in animations, but it's not something guaranteed since you need to be falling on something then mantle, the animation cancels or ends quickly but again,it's the only method but you need to be near something that's climbable or else it won't work. Climbing won't work too well,it has to be you falling on something then mantling
Tbh, I'm not sure if the streak animations are slower than e.g. mw3 My friend once complained that it's too fast nowadays cause you would have to get safe and be thoughtful about calling stuff in before
I think it was with the X13 Auto I noticed with a 30rd mag if you don’t have fast hands on you actually miss the magwell when you reload before the mag is empty
For me it really depends on the gun that I’m using in that moment. For guns like the TAQ-56 and Kastov 762, why should I use it? They’re fast and quick, while also looking cool.
In regard to the weapon switching, I think the variance there is just due to the hand testing method. In previous games, similar perks didn't let you switch to your pistol even faster, that was an inherent benefit of switching to your pistol, perk or not.
This is pretty much the only Perk I use in that particular slot. Regardless of loadout. Mostly. Also, I absolutely HATE how long some of these animations take. I almost always use UAV and Counter-UAV as a package and this just hurts.
It'd be nice to know which gun and pistol combos DO get a benefit to switch time. And back to primary. Cause I use pistols as my primary half the time. The deagle and the magnum are some of the best guns in the game at mid range. It's like a faster Lockwood that's a bit harder to hit shots with. But once you get good with those things, they are monsters.
i like fast hands, i personally run hardline for more UAVs to help with weapon leveling and such. fast hands, imo, is best in slot for that, and the ultimate slot is definitely quick fix

@@jayz4dayz763 the mid perk probably has the most flexibility for preference. I stay away from fast hands and instead just try to anticipate the enemy better. Hardline giving UAVs at 3 kills rather than 4 is too massive to pass up on for me.
@@h31sman double time over tracker
Just found this channel, thanks for being a non clickbait channel with test data.
Curious how the weapon swap speed is affected with the quick aim grip on a pistol
and what would it look like doing the inspect?
It’s nearly instant but like still half a second with fast hands and the quick swap grip. I use that with snipers and a Glock to just spray if I miss a shot
I'm pretty sure, as the video shows, that pistols aren't affected by Fast Hands. Like previous games, that was the inherent nature of pistols. They had a faster swap speed, perk or not.
@@Griffith74 I tried this last night and I couldn't get the inspect animation to trigger while I had the pistol out in 'fast draw.' I could only inspect the weapon once I had fully stowed my primary.
@@xCrazyIvan606 thanks for trying it out
Can feel infinity ward lurking around Ace’s videos ready to nurf positive things in game 😂
Idk previously I saw hardline as a waste of a perk but this time around it actually feels like I'm earning the score streaks way quicker I went from mw2019 barely earning vtol jets to gunship every game.
Hardline giving UAVs at 3 kills instead of 4 makes it a must for me. The difference between getting 4 kills in a life & 3 is crazy. But yeah same feeling overall.
Yessss Hardline
I totally agree. I feel so sluggish in the beginning of matches before fast hands is activated
Og MW2 was definitely faster than this slog. MW3 and BO2 are even better when it comes to speed
@@ecole146 OG MW2 have marathon perk allow you sprint like a mad man. as well as you can spam strafe and jump shot pretty quick. It doesn't have movement penalty like MW2. And the map design is not huge unless map like wasteland.
@@hachelyd_i3232 that's a straight lie, COD 4 and MW2 movement is MUCH slower than anything past WWII, thanks to Tac Sprint and movement in general. It was just enough to compare MW19 maps and COD 4 maps and how fast you can travel around the map in both games, and the only thing that has become way slower is strafe speed and ADW while walking, other than that, you guys have absolute 0 idea
@@boocomban There were other big maps like quarry and derail. Older cod games movement were much slower to traverse through without marathon. Unlike these new games now where you have infinite sprint as a base ability now.
I really miss running both fast hands and resupply like i did in Modern Warfare.
It's good but I think resupply is more useful, especially for recharging Stims cause the ttk in this game at times feels way too fast
Feel like thats counterintuitive cuz ull die before you can use multiple stims directly due to the fast ttk.
You don’t need stims with quick fix
@@SleepyjoeOG then you can't use ghost. uavs pop up every minute
@@davidwu3076 shoot them down,I don’t think people know how easy they made it in the game
@@SleepyjoeOG Restock is at least just as good if not better. Having constant flashes to prevent people from holding angles is fire. Plus you get two grenades that come back over time which are amazing in this game because they're so big and help flush out enemies as well
Fast hands is so nice. The killstreak callins are one of those things that I tend to just activate once there's a spawn swap or I just spawn after dying due to how long it takes
Uav+counter uav+chopper gunner with score streaks and hardline gets you a chopper gunner with 5-6 kills
Really? Going to have to try that.
@@BlksnshN you get score towards your streak for captures, assists, kills confirmed etc. it adds up and you get chopper gunners left and right. As someone who identifies as a helicopter I find this combo very entertaining. You can wreck a lobby pretty quick with one good chopper gunner spawn trap
I use extra tactical, double time, restock, and high alert.
High alert has saved me countless times, and I love to flash/stun someone for and easy execution, throwing knives and cooked names are also fun
If you’re not using Double Time, Bomb Squad, Fast Hands, and Quick Fix in 6v6 respawn modes what are you doing
Using ghost
Using tracker
@@Kylar_Godslayer quick fix is way better than ghost
Replacing Double Time with Battle Hardened. People are spamming Flashes like crazy, at least in my lobbies.
Bro bomb squad is such a clutch perk it’s not even funny. The amount of times I should have died but didn’t is amazing
Thank you for posting this. Finally someone understands.
I miss the agility perk that allowed you to mantle and maneuver faster over obstacles..
This. Shoot house is a pain for this in the middle section
That was a perk. I need that
One could argue that the longer KS call in time is to help with the UAV spam and to also make it so you're more vulnerable for a time. Granted I'm not sure IW really *looked* that far into it, but with everyone talking about the UAV spam and not having ghost at the start maybe its good to have the times be longer.
Pretty good I’d rather a weapon perk tho or a buff to all guns
If u lay down while calling uav or strwak it calls the streak without pulling phone out, complete animation cancel. Works on laying down and getting up.
First of all
Fast Hands should be in 1st perks.
Second of all
I wanna more perk packages. Why do I have the option to have 12 loadouts but only 5 perk packages
You need more than 5 perk packages? i only need 1 perk package
@@jj.jayjay. Yes I do, Since you cant edit perk packages mid game. And I like to assign one perk packages depending on playstyle.
With fast hands, when you have 2 primaries, it’s faster to swap weapons than it is to reload. Saved me many times.
It’s pretty sad that they have to design slower animations in order to justify Fast Hands. Sounds like backwards game design.
Edit: Keep realism out of arcade shooters. If I want realism I’ll go play Arma or Butthole Scratcher Simulator 2023.
I had similar feeling about weapon tuning and how many of the attachments make the game worse….unless you tune it.
The entire game is backwards game design
I believe MW19 had different animations for sleight of hand.
It's also really good for cutting down the time for swapping to a launcher / take down a UAV
Man vaulting in this game is so frustratingly bad.
*Use it on all of my classes.*
Yep
I ran fast hands at first, but then I switched to cold blooded due to so many VTOL jets being used. I’m genuinely interested in what you have to say, maybe I’ll switch back!
They completely ruined the perk system by delaying the perk til halfway through the game
Yup... this has been one of my main stays for perks
I think the slower streak call in is a positive thing as it forces the speed freaks to pause for a second before they can corner jump over and over again.
Ace never fails to teach me things in his videos that he’s not even discussing.
6:15 I had no idea there was a ladder there 😂😂
100% in the fast hands club. Can't play without it and as you said, I'm also getting killed in the beginning of a match just from being used to it.
Could not agree more about calling in killstreaks, feels like I’ve spent YEARS calling in UAVs and CUAVs this game
Does fast hands speed swapping to knife, pls I need to know!
It is a must for any perk package I run, once I got used to it I hate playing without it
I do love this channel I like seeing all the stuff I normally wouldn't care about but now I can't help but notice it really is cool
The cold blood glitch is a massive problem. If you dont have cold blood on then swap to it you will still show up on thermal scopes. If you dont start a game with cold blooded it simply doesnt work. This is most noticeable in ground war against thermal scope snipers
Oh, that's why I've been glowing in people's scopes on kill cam. Thank you dude, I was trying to figure out what was going on with that.
I can't tell you how many times I've died on shipment trying to throw a stupid cluster mine. That streak has got me killed so many times. It has such a slow throw down time.
Fast hands and focus are my favorite 3rd perks. Focus allows me to get more headshots with my Lachman 556(headshot machine).
I think someone just wanted extra hours at work with those kill-streak animations
Omfg the animations take FOREVER!!! I have flashed myslef sooooo many times and have died while placing equipment like 3 times per match lol
I think a lot of people are forgetting that you can still fire your gun while calling in streaks and using some equipment
I don’t remember if it was the case in 2019, but you can still shoot in MWII while calling in UAV, so definitely not completely out of the action
Fast Hands is almost always what I use in that slot. I've been playing DMZ a lot lately, and I really miss it there.
Whole heartedly agree about the long time it takes for the streak animations. It's like the orion skin. The speed needs to be at least 5x faster.
I just love how fast you can swap weapons and I didn't know it helped throw lethals and field upgrades
I've been killed so many times when calling in a UAV due to how slow the animation is. It's a shame fast hands doesn't do anything to speed up that.
I got so drunk watching this and taking a sip every time you said "Fast Hands"
If you pull up the ping wheel and call in streaks , it seems faster than right on dpad
This is gonna make the devs put fast hands in the ultimate category
Tbh, I'm not sure if the streak animations are slower than e.g. mw3
My friend once complained that it's too fast nowadays cause you would have to get safe and be thoughtful about calling stuff in before
Calling in a uav and counter on shipment was brutal feels like an eternity
I think it was with the X13 Auto I noticed with a 30rd mag if you don’t have fast hands on you actually miss the magwell when you reload before the mag is empty
For me it really depends on the gun that I’m using in that moment. For guns like the TAQ-56 and Kastov 762, why should I use it? They’re fast and quick, while also looking cool.
In regard to the weapon switching, I think the variance there is just due to the hand testing method. In previous games, similar perks didn't let you switch to your pistol even faster, that was an inherent benefit of switching to your pistol, perk or not.
Ace crying about Dead Silence is literally a meme at this point. 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Personally, hardline is my favorite. Being able to get a uav in three and counter in 4 is just so dang efficient
I haven't tested yet but starting to fire again while reloading shotguns has been an absolute nightmare.
Thanks for the vid, great info as always. One I'd have liked to see is if fast hands works on throwing knifes, too.
