yep possibly soaked, even with the upgraded intercooler kit... I know the feeling as an S3 owner, its one of the only weaknesses of the MQB platform, even so Its bearable.

M4 putting in work for stock turbo, just imagine if it was upgraded pure turbo.
2 different class of cars tho...a better matchup for an upgraded turbo m4 is an upgraded turbo rs3.
Exactky the stock turbos workin hard asf against tht big hybrid turbo. An upgraded turbo rs3 vs pureturbos m2/4 would be sick

@@whatiwant8898 technically yes but for tuning capabilities the 2.5 5 cyl in the rs3 is a much stronger engine than the 2.8 v6 in the rs4/5

@@95regShamil s3 which is the car that raced is a 2.0T 4-Cylinder. The Rs3 which you are talking about is a 2.5T 5-cylinder. This race was a heavily modified S3 that held its own. I mean for gods sake that car comes stock with only 292 hp and 280lb-ft.
Looks like maybe that S3 was heat soaking up top. Seemed to get a little slower each run. I know he's got an intercooler but he's got to be punching out a lot of boost.
I do have a lot of boost 😅 and yeah my temps were up there on the last run 🥲

Yeah the m3/m4 have really good cooling stock, better than most performance cars surprisingly

It has a bigger turbo upgrade it doesn't matter if the engine was a 1.3 if it has a big turbo it's going to be faster than a car with a stock turbo lol

With stocm turbo or upgraded like the S3? Mod for mod the 340i will eat the S3. I've had both cars and the S3 felt like a cheap turd in comparison.

@@Oophilly215oO a stock turbo B58 with a custom E50 tune should be around dead even, but once the B58 goes hybrid with port injection it’s pretty much game over, the B58 is a different league
@@LeJunny That only apply if the S3 dont go full frame turbo. There are plenty of full frame g30-900 s3s doing mid and low 5s 60-130mph.
The all out 1stockf30 340 with build motor, build transmission, build everything was running 5.1s so you can have an idea.

Pretty Impressive for a non rs
S3's are quite easy to turn into beasts with just a tune, a couple of bolt ons/hybrid turbo, I have one its an amazing car TBH

TTRS will take it if it's mod for mod. The TTRS is about 150kg lighter and better aero + shorter wheelbase. Other than that, they're the exact same car.
