Correction: Tony Perkins died of AIDS not Tony Curtis. Also, in all my research I cannot find a connection between the house with Marilyn's signature and 4/9/52 date and her ever living at that house. She and Joe Dimaggo were living in a rental house miles away in 1952, definitely not this house.
Hudson's Spanish style house "The Castle" was demolished in 1988 and the current mega mansion on the site has nothing to do with him. Just went for sale at 30 MIL.
I'm pretty sure I heard Rock/Roy once mention in an interview that he chose the name Hudson after the car, the Hudson Hornet? Don't remember if he mentioned where he got the name Rock from, so I give you that one. I wonder where 'THE ROCK' came up with his version? (grins)
@@Boston_CremePie Ur possibly right on the ROCK name but not the Hudson. I clearly remember him saying that in an interview decades ago, that he chose the name Hudson from the Hudson Hornet car. And a good choice it was. I remember that because I used to have a 53 Hudson Hornet, or rather my Dad had one I WANTED to keep! But that didn't happen! (blows raspberry at Dad)
Steep inclines? Really? Big surprise. Maybe that's why it's called Beverly HILLS. You know you can drive up the street instead of walking, I've done it. By the way, this video should have been called " A Biography of Rock Hudson with Pictures of Walls and Fences". The first 12 minutes were just about giving Rock Hudson's life story, then all we saw were walls and fences with more blah blah about his life. Boring
I wonder if the other 2.5 thousand viewers were as bored as you. Regardless, I'm sure you can find more exciting tours to view. Or better yet, film your own. I'll bet that wouldn't be boring..

Type in Rock Hudson's House on TH-cam. Also...there is a video of the morgue van driving out of his driveway transporting his body to the morgue, reporters and photographers are surrounding the van. And his friends are screaming at the press. It's on TH-cam titled Rock Hudson dies. He had died only 2 or 3 hours before the ruckus at his gate.

It was a name given to him by his agent: Rock for the Rock of Gibraltar and Hudson for the Hudson River
