Spring over high steer list with stock spring set up: Cut and turn front tube Extended brake lines front and rear Proper pitman arm (Wagoneer for most applications) New and preferred longer rear and front perches New shocks? Maybe High steer knuckles High steer steering arms (might need risers) New tie rod 1 ton or ½ ton (must match high steer hole) New drag link 1 ton or ½ ton Relocate E-brake line Relocate rear hard brake lines Pending the springs you are using might need new bushings Front and rear longer drive shafts New U-bolts ( I am probably forgetting something!) Many vendors sell kits with all the parts included.. I would highly recommend that is the way to go because you will have all matching parts. I had received some parts and had to match things up and it got a bit tricky making sure I have the right components.
yes my passenger side rear was 1" too low so I added a 1/2" spacer to increase the height and worked out well. when I was sprung under they had three spacers on the other three corners to level it out so I had to do the reverse with the spring over
For someone who just wants 33”a would you go through all these modifications again over the rough country 2.5 and maybe a 1” body to run 33”s? Does it ride that much better over the r/c?
You will probably be fine.. mine rubbed because i am running 12" wide tires. If you have high quality 2.5" lift kit should ride good but you might still need to cut and turn the knuckles or at minimum put a wedge between the springs and the axel.

Good informative video
Good info, thanks for sharing. Looking to do the same thing to a scout II in the near future.
Nice work. You have an idea of total lift on stock springs? Tires you're running?
Hi .. i am running 33" tires you will get about 5 to 6 inch lift vs spring under
Did you have or add the spacers to the leaf springs in the rear or front to keep it level? I know they come with spacers stock.
