Chile's isnt modernized and it is mostly a defenive force against its neighbours, it is mostly infantry or mobile infantry. It isnt mechanized like argentina's or brasil's armies, they lack tanks. And if they have any they are outdated or were imported. On the other hand argentina produces its own equipment and most importantly tanks. Ah and havent i mentioned that it has a big war time industry that is more than capable to mass produce equipment
