- That was amazing finale! Again, nothing managed to make me feel like this except for Steins;Gate. It's such a good show. Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 are like two halves of a whole, I view them like that now. The fact that Mayuri and Suzuha were sent BC 18000 was crazy but our boy Okabe showed up just like he promised, that scene is one of my favourites. He was like a superhero with that entrance, made me feel emotions like I'm kid again haha.

I think the OVA and the movie being last is a decent choice. That way you end in the Steins;Gate worldline.
You know Okabe reached the pinnacle of his character when, instead of "It's Steins Gate's choice!" he declares: "THIS IS MY CHOICE!".

One thing to mention is if you're watching the episode 25 OVA it was made before Steins;Gate 0 so one of the characters who appears in that episode didn't have her Steins;Gate 0 design yet. I don't want to spoil who it is but you'll see what I mean.

Both series is 10/10 imho.

SG0 = heartblown
Sad thing about the ending is that it's possble that Mayuri only the one returned to future as what Okabe promised to Kagari. And Okabe at Suzuha left there on 18000BC.
Also the arclight of infinity arc is perfectly sync with SG scene.
He went back for them in the final episode... Back to 18000BC

Just to make things little bittersweet, Okabe never returns from that rescue mission, since if he did, his reading steiner would activate and he would jump to Steins Gate world line erasing the memories of Okabe from Steins Gate world line.
That's so heartbreaking to think about but it makes sense, thankfully that world will be overwritten by Steins;Gate world line. I hope that he has memories of S;G 0 Okabe even just in a form of those dreams that others are experiencing. I want to believe that Okabe kept his promise to Kagari and sent Mayuri and Suzuha back but Suzuha would probably have to go into hiding until young Suzuha departs in 2036. As for Steins;Gate world line I hope that Mayuri still meets Kagari just like we still met Maho and Feyris despite some big changes that happened, I would like to think in this most positive and optimistic way, I don't want any sad endings after all of this haha.

Great reactions, Marco! You've made some very emotional videos. It was wonderful to dive back into Steins;Gate with you. And of course it was interesting to see your emotions in the course of the plot. I advise you after watching the movie (considered uncanonical) and the OVA to get acquainted with the novels by Steins; Gate (including spin-offs), as well as with other parts of the Science Adventure universe. For example, Chaos;Head, Chaos;Child or Robotics;Notes. In some of these parts, you can find out the fate of the heroes of Steins;Gate. The other day, the universe was replenished with another new part, this is Anonymous; Code, the official English release of which is already promised in 2023. Plus, an indirect continuation of Steins;Gate is planned. So, there is scope for study!

Amazing Beta world journey, it's perfect. First I thought they went to a timeline in which no humans don't exist "yet", I mean I thought they are the first human beings and human lives began to multiply from them. But then I searched on google and found out humanity already existed in 18000 BC. Anyway, I loved the journey. The english song named as "Gate of Steiner" was perfect too at the end of the episode. I loved the music directing of this series. Looking forward to Episode 25(OVA) and the movie. Also looking forward to Mob Psycho 100 & Demon Slayer
yes, and that explains why they're able to breathe, becouse oxygen was in the world way before that. they're just got throw in a weird place like this for the sake of an epic ending like that! xD

People always ask what was the significance of the scene shown at the beginning of episode 12 of Steins;Gate.. This ending of Steins;Gate 0 is the answer to that..

Happy you enjoyed the show. Hope to see more of your reactions to non-shonen anime. There are not many similar time travel shows like Steins Gate. Similar to SG: Madoka Magica (12 ep.)- similar story chronology and suffering Boku dake ga Inai Machi (12 ep.)- time travel and some likable characters.

Madoka Magica is along with Steins;Gate one of my favourite shows. If you’re going to react try to do it without spoilers. Also the Madoka Magica movie is a must watch.

I was stalling because I didn't want this journey to end, but tomorrow there's Attack on Titan, so I want to see this moment with a clear mind, so I finished Steins Gate 0 and the OVAs in one go, and it only secured Steins;Gate's the second position of my favorite animes! Steins gate 0 had more action and a little more craziness than the main show, I don't know which one I prefer but the climax of SG 0 was the part I was most excited about in the whole show, and that post-credit scene with Gate of Steiner playing had me mith my daw dropped, of how beautiful visually and musically that moment was, now it's just the movie, but since it's something more separate from the main story, I think it can wait a little longer, now just wait... It's tomorrow, Marko! Tatakae's time!
I'm super glad you enjoyed! I didn't wont to spoil you that Steins;Gate 0 is basically following journey of Okabe that sent the message to our Okabe from Steins;Gate but you figured that out. It was still pretty sad to see what he had to go through and parting with Amadeus also hits hard, the scene of him becoming mad scientist again and laughing was great and ofc the last scene which was so epic! Now we are ready for masterpiece tomorrow, can't wait! :D

So there were two Okabes, one from the beta world line that was the Okabe we followed trough the main show and he Okabe from alpha world line, the protagonist of SG0, so I wonder what happened with alpha Okabe after he rescued Mayuri and Suzuha, did they keep living normally while the beta Okabe reached the Steins Gate?
Anyway, those episodes where he goes to the future and we see everyone older in the destroyed world was so insane, man, never thought the show would've gone that far, and the most insane thing of all is Feyris being 40 years old and still having a young face, cute voice, using cat years and mewoing when speaks!

Beta world line (Steins;Gate 0) would be erased when Suzuha grows up and goes from 2036 to 2010 to help Okabe save Kurisu. Because S;G 0 Okabe was destined to dissaper or ''die'' in 2025 he deceived convergence yet again by going back in time to save Mayuri and Suzuha. What happens after is up to fans to decide! :)
Their timeline will dissapear in 2036 anyway so they maybe travlled straight to that year or Okabe decided to stay and sent just Mayuri and Suzuha back (to keep his promise to Kagari). Suzuha should not be allowed to meet kid Suzuha because that would create time paradox tho.
There are many other theories and I think that it's very bittersweet that their timeline will be erased but it's also why this show is so amazing, Okabe would never be able to achieve Steins;Gate world line without help of his dear friends and all the people that he met and Steins;Gate final episode hits so much harder as well knowing what Okabe that sent the message from the future had to go through to achieve a world line where both Mayushi and Makise live

No, I'd like to take out some thoughts I have about that season.
I would like to know what's is your opinion about Mayuri in that season, because I didn't like that she was feelings about Okabe. I know it Is something personal, but in first season Okabe and Mayuri were like brothers, and that was one of the things I liked so much, because I was tired about love triangles in anime.
I just didn't like the choice about Mayuri's motivations in that season, and that's why I didn't like that season as much as the first season.
Thank you very much! I have to agree with you, I was also surprised by Mayuri having romantic feelings towards Okabe, it was shocking to me but I accepted that if that's how she really feels. I always sensed platonic love, brother/sister type of relationship from them unlike with Makise and Okabe. When Makise is around I guess Mayuri doesn't mind if Okabe chooses Makise because she only wants Okabe to be happy. I don't like to think too much about that tbh. I do like that we got to see Steins;Gate 0 events because Mayuri's slap in Steins;Gate could be seen as slight out of character thing but S;G 0 explained it so that it makes sense. Overall I prefer Steins;Gate as well but I'm glad that we got lots of character development for Mayuri and Daru is S;G 0.
@@MarkosAnimeJourney as a person who kinda have a similar personality to shiina mayuri, i can totally understand her feeling and her inability to express her feeling in the first season, because of that i really felt from the first season that she has a feeling to okabe, you see, before i used to love a girl, like we are still very very close, we are like bestfriends, however, i knew that this girl loves someone, who i also know who is he, and we have strong relationship together, so i haven't confessed, i stayed in love with her for 6-7 years, not saying a word, since i know she loves someone else, and now they are together and i am truly happy for them and not bad, even if i still have some feeling for her, but you see, it can happens, and you may not even know, but as a person who has a similar personality to mayuri, i really was able to sense it hahaha :)

you see, a girl falls in love on the basis of feeling safe and peaceful, and if she felt that with someone, she falls in love with them, and what happened between mayuri and okabe is 100% going to make her feel safe, especially that they stayed together for so long, but that's why okabe didn't know that, because the basis of falling in love for a man is different :P so he thinks about her as platonic relationship

I just want them all to be happy no matter what so by having a love triangle, one person suffers usually but Mayuri would be happy for Okabe so that's not the case here I guess. It still leaves bitter feeling imo so that's why I don't like to talk about this too much.
if you don't know it steins;gate is part of a bigger franchise call "scince adventures" there are others animes of this franchice like chaos;head, chaos;child and robotic;notes I don't see any of them because I want to read the vn's and rigth now I'm reading chaos;head, what is the frist one, and sadly there are bad reviews of those adaptation aparently steins;gate is the only one with a good adaptantion and that's why I'M reading the novels

Finally we reached to the world, Steins gate :> read about titor in real life, you will see that he talked about things that wasn't known and turns out real, then he disappeared one of the thing that didn't come tho was the 3rd world war,, imagine if that means he is a real time traveller and now we are in steins gate? :P

Despite what anyone says watching ep 23 and 24 after completing 0 is best experience you can get. Level of satisfaction after watching it that way is 3000
I get why many people think so and I'll watch it that way when I do a rewatch for sure. I just feel like it would kill the vibe of ep 23 of Steins;Gate and wtf moment when future Okabe sends video to current Okabe, that was hype af and one of my favourite episodes! :D

It's a very bad idea. Steins Gate 0 helps you to know how cruel and difficult it was to get to the Steins Gate line. It's like a huge flashback. The scene where he says "I'll definitely find Steins Gate" is pure gold if you've seen all of Steins Gate from 1-24 before. Also Mayuri's slap gains a tremendous background, and it causes you a lot of emotion to see how Okabe is from 2025 after having seen him in a blur in the original 23rd episode. So no, you just ruin the real experience.

The reason why I always suggest people to watch 0 after 22 is because although 0 is full of emotion you already know this timeline will pass and everything is fine specially you know Makisu will be alive and it kinda ruin the experience. Still no matter how you watch it, it's masterpiece
