I read Shadow and Bone in July too! So amazing! I started to read Six of Crows in May, but couldn't get through it. I was told by a local book seller to start out with the Grisha Tril and I am so glad I listened because I can't wait to dive into the rest of the tril and duology. And yep Tom is like the perfect Spiderman and Homecoming was great!🕷🕸 :-)
Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley will star in the movie adaptation of Patrick Ness' Chaos Walking trilogy and I really REALLY recommend you read it if you haven't! It's sooooo amazing and unique! I'm supper excited for the movie🎉

I LOVED Spider-man: Homecoming! I saw it 3 times :) so glad you included it in this video and had all good things to say. I think Tom Holland is the best version of Spider-Man and I'm stoked that Spidey is a part of the MCU. I can't wait for more films with Tom as Spider-Man!

I loved Dunkirk too! I was expecting it to be a really long movie but it lasted the perfect amount of time. The Score was incredible! I also loved Riverdale too. I wasn't expecting to like it and though it is very much a teen show, the dark side of it was great. Also, I love Jughead too.

The only book I've ever read in the grisha universe is shadow and bone. I read it because everyone was talking about it, but I was only 11 at the time and it really freaked me out. I'm 15 now, and I feel like I should try to get into the world again, but, for some reason, I still can't bring myself to.
I actually am excited for the new BBC miniseries based on the golden compass series. I don't think it's out yet, but I thinking will be good. The books are on my list. I really enjoy the Sally Lockhart stories. Christine, you should give them a try too.

I'd give Riverdale a thousand stars if I could! Ive already watched it twice! I also watched the Beauty and the Beast on netflix (its in french) and lovvved it! And I know I'm late on the whole reading the Lunar Chronicles but I finally picked up Cinder and was blown away by how great it was, definitely 5 stars for everything!

I read The Grisha Trilogy last summer, and I loved the first one, but I did not like how the arch ended by the end of the series in the 3rd novel. So sad. The first one was really promising.
GLOW is so much fun! I love that show!! I read One of Us is Lying in one setting and it was so much fun. Unfortunately I also figured out the ending before it happened. I blame Law & Order.
If you don't care about coherent or consistent writing and want to be treated as if you were dumb then sure. But this is definetly not a good or well written tv show.

The best movie I saw in July was definitely Spider-Man: Homecoming and my favorite book I read this month was The Blinding Knife, by Brent Weeks (with The Diviners, by Libba Bray coming at a very close second).
I also devoured Riverdale! HONESTLY THE BEST. I loved it so so much. Jughead is everything. I recorded my reaction to some of the episodes and put it on FB and apparently it was hilarious. It was fun to do! Super stoked for season two!

i tried to read red queen a few months ago but found it reminded me to much of the hunger games -minus the actual games, just the politics part- i got through the first couple hundred pages. does the series come into it's own in the 2nd book? i'm not trying to bash your favourite series, i'm just curious to get an opinion cause i really wouldn't mind continuing the series
One of the things I do like about the series, and it became more prominent in the third book, is the psychological aspect of it. It really becomes rather dark but interesting to see how the characters deal with situations and rationalize it in their own minds. They all have different intentions for their actions and views on what's happening. It almost makes you begin to understand even the more "bad" characters' reasoning for what they're doing. Overall, I don't know if this helps or not, and the series may interest you or it may not but if you stick with it, you won't be able to stop reading.

You should watch the shows in the arrow verse there's Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. They're all super good and on Netflix!
