Trivia: Stanley, the hero in this game was in "Saturday Supercade" as "Stanley the Bugman," and DK was doing mischief with plants. Only when Pauline made DK realized he'd been chumped by the villains did he turn the tables.

Well, Yeah, duh. It’s a Shoot-Em-Up made by Nintendo. That’s right, The third Game in The Donkey Kong Franchise is a shmup. I’m so Glad that i’m NOT The only one who knows this. There are many people out there that do agree with me, but Everyone is entitled to their Oppinion, even If Donkey Kong 3 REALLY does play a lot like Galaga. I NEVER condescend anyone, cause to be honest, i try Real hard to be a nice person. Have a nice day😃👍🕹🎮🛕
Stan is in fact the forgotten character of the Donkey Kong and Mario Brothers series. Never saw him in these cartoon except on the Supercade.
Hopefully someone makes a romhack of the nes version with arcade style music.

This game was always my favorite of the original three Donkey Kong games, but with that said I understand why it didn't catch on in popularity like the first two did.

My brother in christ, The reason why you dislike this Game is because it does NOT play like The others in The Series. It isn’t REALLY that bad, It’s just that this Game is a Shoot-Em-Up with Donkey Kong’s face slapped on it. That’s the only dealbreaker and/or dealmaker here. You are LOOKING at Nintendo’s Answer to Galaga. Why exactly do you think that’s a bad THING? I’m NOT mad at you, just curious and merely Asking why

What an awful game this was.
You hate it because it dosent play like the first 2 of because Mario was replaced with Stanley
