The first minute and a half gave me such a different perspective on base building. I'd uninstalled it dozens of time because I couldn't get the layout right. Coming back to the video to continue the rest, we're humming along at 40 capacity, all resources running smoothly. Can't wait to finish the video😅
I sincerely wish I had this video of yours, a month ago. Lol. I know I'm late to the party, but I love your FoS content. Keep it up. You're right. I wish I didn't blow caps on upgrading my vault door.
No lie I came back to fos after a couple yrs but I've never knew we could upgrade the vault door till today when I accidentally did then I came to TH-cam to watch a few videos on new tips that I may have never found and found out that I shouldn't upgrade it thankfully I only did it once
One last thing worth mentioning that isn't a tip, but is interesting to know.... The mobile version of this game is different than the PC version that you can play through STEAM. I have recently played both versions and think it's worth noting the differences. The differences are as follows: 1. You can watch ADS multiple times a day (it's on a timer) and earn the chance to win either caps, nuka-cola, a pet carrier, or lunchbox. I have gotten a LOT of Nuka-Cola through this and have never had to worry about conserving. However, on PC, you don't have this option. 2. You can watch ADS multiple times a day to DOUBLE your caps the Stranger gives you. This is also on a timer. I think the timers for both of these offers are four hour timers, maybe 3.5 hour timers. 3. The last difference between the two that I have noticed is that you can SAVE anytime on the PC version. There are two save options... just a SAVE option, and then you have a SAVE and EXIT option. In short, I enjoy playing the PC version better than playing on a device, but there are benefits that help you a lot playing on the mobile app through watching ads.
2:30 As a newbie that already played survival mode in just playing for 2 days, heard this tip and getting so much raids… I was like, *“Srew it!! imma need that extra time to prepare!!”*
Pro tip: remember to have fun! Minmaxing is fun, but your old Sarah Lyons you trained up from the brotherhood of steel quest? Take her on a couple quests! Sure, you could be better, but having fun and stuff is priority!
I thought this game was just a phone app and then I hear, "if you're on playstation or xbox". I went to the PS store and its free. So that tip was awesome lol.
Good tips but as a complete beginner, I wish you had explained how to sell items, what rooms are most important to build first, how many dwellers get assigned to each, etc ...
I found information that when training a dweller to 10e and equipping them with 7e, when leveling up, their maximum health will increase, is this correct?
thanks for the tips, i started yesterday and i think i got super lucky. I don't think your first three packs are supposed to give you an enhanced alien laser (18 damage) T-60 power armor and a legendary golden retriever but hey, here I am.
To whoever reads this, I hope you have a wonderful day and no matter what stay happy as that is what matters most in life, You are truly amazing and no one can ever take that away from you, Be happy and enjoy life, We don't have long on earth so make the most of it, We’re all gonna make it brah 👑
I have recently found your channel because of your Fallout Shelter videos. I have been enjoying them!!! Two tips that you didn't mention, though, that I think are really important.... 1. Mr. Handy --- You can repair him with caps, so there's no need to worry too much when he gets damaged. You can ALSO send him out into the wasteland to gather caps for you. He WILL NOT sustain any damage while out in the wasteland gathering caps. 2. The Science Lab and Med Bay --- Build more than you can fill with dwellers and do not worry about them being full with dwellers. I do this for the storage value they offer because you can only raise your storage space for stimpacks and radaway by the number of labs and bays you have built. Your storage capacity for radaway and stimpacks WILL NOT increase when you level up these rooms. That only increases how many are produced by that room. In my vault of 120 dwellers, I have enough of these rooms to support storing over 80 of each. I was just about to increase those numbers when I learned through one of your videos that you want to start training your dwellers in endurance at level 1. I had to start over at that point, lol!!! That is a fantastic tip!!! Anyway, I just wanted to add those two tips in there as they are pretty good ones to know!! Have you ever considered doing a play-through of Fallout shelter with starting a new vault and teaching others how to play it while injecting your own lore into it, kinda like telling a story at the same time? I have seen one content creator do that, and I loved it!!
Lol, go generate power using the power room and have them make food, remember you can rush them but it's risky, if you need destroy unnecessary rooms so the power goes where you need. You need dwellers in food, water, and power rooms at all times.
Crafting Weapons, Crafting Armour. You won't invest into Crafting until the late game. Also Radio Room. Early game there is a lot of other ways to get numbers of dwellers up. For training rooms, just do Fitness first and focus on getting everyone's Endurance up. Late game you can start with all the other SPECIAL training but Endurance is usually first. Build storage and bedrooms only as needed when needed. No need to build lots right away.
You cant, you can simply replace them with the new one, or just wait until it destroyed. You will given the option to fully repair them or just trash it away.
The only real tip was the one he said was not a tip... everything is basic for any one that has ever played any video game ever. Also DO upgrade that door fast. It will give you time to send 2 people from the closest room to it, when the time comes to defend it. Having someone at the gate 24/7 is a waste of resources.
"Tips for BEGINNERS" also if you don't have anyone assigned to the vault door they will just go to the next room with dwellers making it something you shouldn't spend caps on unless you really want a few extra seconds to prepare although it's not worth it.
New Fallout series brought me here. Installing game now. Ty 4 tips.

what to do if you run out of food and people not making food cus the lights out. they scared no cap. do they need a torch?
Lol, go generate power using the power room and have them make food, remember you can rush them but it's risky, if you need destroy unnecessary rooms so the power goes where you need. You need dwellers in food, water, and power rooms at all times.

I just started playing this game and I have no clue how to assign weapons to my dwellers... I'm lost
I recommend playing more and messing around the game tapping and figuring out the game.
I've decided to make a tutorial, video dropping soon, today or tomorrow
