w kill at 5:18. i would say definitely use 10 song, buffs like allegro, harmonic shield, and unchained harmony are super useful. also high action speed is defintely the play hp and action on bard plus shriek is very useful in solos
Buckler blocking is super rough especially when using a rapier, if you want good returns on blocked damage you need to run rondel high action speed and pdr, rapier is amazing but with how fast you swing if you put on allegro as well would go insane, 10 song bard is the only real way to play the class so you can get all 5 self buffs as previously mentioned plus you can have 2 debuffs, lament and shriek, while still having allegro for insane action speed, the goal in a fight would be to use crossbow for initial poke damage but always keep it reloaded after shooting if you can’t, make distance to reload, kite damage until you can’t and then pop allegro, use the crossbow for a sneak headshot with the insane action speed. you’ll pull it out so fast they won’t have time to react and after you shoot you just m1 spam them on rondel until they die, keep it going brother bards amazing but it’s a jack of all trades and master of none so kite damage into high attack speed is key to winning engagements especially in solos
Try the perk that makes instruments hit 50% harder. You can use a Legendary Lute with a high gear score gear (124) because the lute only takes 23 gear score from u S2S2S2S2S2
