Batman: The Brave and The Bold was an intresesting refresh throwback of the caped crusader during a time where the dark and gritty version of Batman was in the mainstream. But what makes Batman: The Brave and The Bold special is how it ended in a weird, 4th wall breaking way... and along the way, we may just learn a little about ourselves.

I LOVED this show. It wasn't a 'the Batman' or other Batman cartoons by any means but it gave a fresh, slightly more comedic perspective into the Batman, instead of some dark edgy stuff that not everyone likes. In addition, it went into more detail about more obscure DC heroes that never saw the light of day, or heroes or villains with no movies or other source materials, and many i'd never heard of until I saw the show. The 'Starro lives' arc that features B'wana Beast was one of the most memorable arcs, as was some of the episodes with Batmite and the occasional episode that showed how Joker could be a hero. I like also how it built up the Justice League/served as almost a more humorous sequel to the Batman, which was also a classic.

I made the mistake of brushing this show off when I was younger. Around the time this show came out I was I believe in the end of middle school…so I grew up with B:TAS and The Batman cartoons.
I regret that decision since I started watching it recently on HBO max. I would say this is probably better than B:TAS in some areas

This Batman came at a time I had lost interest in animation outside of Archer and Futurama, so I didn't watch this at the time, and I've been a little curious what this one was like. I grew up with and absolutely loved the DCAU Batman serieses (serii?) (pretty much all of their series, but Batman is what especially still holds up well) so I've briefly thought about looking into TB&TB so maybe I'll give it a shot if it's on HBO Max, too.

despite being light-hearted still had some emotional moments and was a nice love letter to silver age comics and did help a number of lesser-known heroes become more famous and attention.
Also showed how awesome Batman could be with ironman like gadgets and other things. Also, he was still serious but a lot friendlier .
Sure could be a bit much a few times but the action was still fun and had some good relationships with Batman and other heroes. Also had a pretty good VA cast.

This is one of my favorite finales of all time. It's reminiscent of the Moonlighting finale in all the best ways. The Ted McGinley joke was so on point, not to mention every other joke about things that always mean that a series has jumped the shark. It's clear that this episode was written for the writers and not necessarily for a wide general audience. And that's why it's brilliant.

I loved Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but I knew it wasn't going to last long. A lot of people complained it wasn't serious enough and never wanted to give it a shot. I loved how campy it was, Aquaman was so much fun and I loved how he would talk and how he could back up that huge ego. I like given reboots a shot because you never know it could be a cool fun version, but a lot of people want it to stay with the version they grew up with and/or want serious versions because they think serious means the adult version.

I want to thank the both of you. I've been racking my brain with trying to start a channel but finding a central topic has been...challenging. The things that I'm interested in, or can talk about at length are niche, to put it lightly. Trying to balance the things I want with what I think people would be interested in keeps pushing my progress back momentarily. I need to be confident in what I put out. It will build an audience of those who already have the interest, those looking for new interests, or just people flipping through channels.

I was kinda apathetic towards this show, like I thought it was fine, but I wasn’t a huge fan of it because I wasn’t accustomed to the goofy/campy vibe it had going (this show was a far cry from other DC shows I watched in the late 2000’s like Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans, The Batman). I did get around to the show by the 2nd season, but the 3rd season seemed disappointing to me (esp how weird the finale was to me). What’s funny is that after the show got cancelled, it did get replaced by a CG-animated Batman show called, “Beware the Batman” (topic for a future video?) and it got cancelled after 1 season!
Lastly, I did enjoy reading the comic book series based off of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but the first iteration of the series got cancelled after 20-or-so issues and was then relaunched as “All-New Batman: The Brave and the Bold”, but after a few issues it dropped the “All-New” label and then the title was cancelled after 16 issues.

Batman the brave and the bold was my introduction to the massive rogues gallery as well as all the other heros in DCs repertoire like blue beetle, plastic man, fire and ice, black canary, green arrow, and basically ever other one. I first started watching the show when I saw a commercial for the episode Mayhem of the Music Meister because I LOVED musicals and Neil Patrick Harris has the voice of a god and that when I fell in love with the show. It was fun and really kickstarted my love for Batman.

Have to give huge credit to the german dub for changing the scrpit a little. In the german dub we got a famous german comedian (who luckely is already used in voice acting) as the replacement guest voice for Aquaman. And they fully acknowledge that. Mentioned the actual characters name and made a reference to one of his earlier works. Stuff like that is usual ignored in dubs. Heck, they even acknowledge Aquaman usuals voice actor by making a little pun. Aquaman in the german dub shares a voice actor with Dr. House so batmite makes a joke like "Sorry Aquaman, aber Dr. House is raus" (Sorry Aquaman, but dr. house is out.)
Always a highligh when the german dub puts some extra work in and manage to put extra jokes in, like in spongebob with Mr. Krabs. In one episode there is a joke about his voice actor that only works in german and was an absolute great conincidence that they where able to make this joke. XD
also as sad it was for this show to come to an end, I'm glad we got at least such an fantastic final episode. It was such a great show and pretty much introduced me to the DC universe.
