It's a great idea to use dizzy over walls and onto site, just make sure it doesn't land on it
its most of the time better to chug dizzy straight up into the air as it clears more as it flighs higher AND is harder to spot for enemies AND you can recover it WAY better as you dont have to commit to the site after throwing it
Another Gekko tip is to use your abilities to clear corners constantly as you can use wingman nearly 3 times every round.
Using Wingman and Dizzy at the same time is also good at gaining space as the enemy has to either shoot Wingman or Dizzy which allows for easy kills
a tip for the gekko ulti: if you don't find anyone during the first couple seconds, just come back with the ult to your body instead of sending it to a random corner. It will make it a lot easier to pick up and you get a free second chance instead of having to retreive it in a dangerous spot.

Hi, ur gekko to ascendant series is nice. I got alot of tips from u so thank you. My friend i would like to give u some tips which I noticed:
1. Wingman is good for plant and good for close range imagine like raze boom bot. U can use to clear corner. Dizzy is useful in long range and short range but it is better long range like clearing operators,etc.
2. Make sure u maximize the use ur abilities. Don't see ur utility as an ability but see it as ur buddies.😁 In the video I noticed that in most cases u use dizzy but u r not picking up. Refresh time for these ability is 10 secs so why waste it. In a round u can use 3 to 4 times dizzy and 2 or 3 times on wingman.
3. Make sure where u throw dizzy. Like i said on second point if u want to pick up ur abilities more u need to throw it and land on a safe place so that u can pick up. This is a skill all gekko mains need to do. Eg throwing vertically high u can pick it up again, or bouncing off wall, etc.
4. Try combining two ability. Like u throw wingman along with dizzy. If from an enemy POV there is wingman to stun u and dizzy to guu u and there is u. Like it is 3 on 1 assualt. 🤣 90% of time I know if an enemy is there I do this combo and i kill them. Also also try wingman and thrash or dizzy and thrash.
5. The ultimate thrash. U know if u left click ur thrash will jump far so if an enemy is really close and u ulted. U might not get them dentained so a tip is when u left click and when in mid air left click again ur thrash explodes in mid air.

I learned from another TH-camr, if you go in a custom match and choose viper, use her smokes, you can actually see on the minimap where it will land. So if you create a lineup with that, you can do the same with gekkos mosh pit and a couple other agents mollies
I was so confused when I clicked on the video and heard an add roll for BUFF immediately, using your voice, I thought it was part of the video until i realized it was an add that u made for buff before your actual video. Trippy.
A tip that works for me. For some maps with open ceiling, you can throw your flash vertically into the sky when the round starts to detect enemies (ex: ascent, a site, stand in tree, throw your flash through the leaves and see if there are anyone pushing a main). You can then easily pick your flash up and use it again, no sweat.
A great Gekko ult tip for you Mr Lowlander: don't forget you can click a second time after you pounce with your fishy to activate him midair. This makes sure that you dont overshoot your ult
i love how he corrects himself, when he fails on a round he goes like "i should've..." or "i shouldn't..." that's something everyone needs to do cause you actually improve and you really feel better with yourself

big tip with gekko ult: you can click twice to make thrash explode mid air so it doesn't miss, for example 9:40 if you double clicked the ult in this smoke brimstone would be stunned but you missed, hope it helps in the climb to ascendant :)
edit: simply when you click, thrash jumps and by clicking again you can explode it whenever you want, i think you made short about this but you never used it in this video, goodluck climbing to asc

i cool trick i know with gekko is using wingman and dizzy at the same time (on the teleporter for example) cause the enemies either get stuned or flashed since they cant shoot both
Nice, i just started one tricking Gekko and hit immortal 3 with it BIGGEST TIP dont use wingman only to plant
he can be so usefull checking corners and there is alot off chance he dies while planting also when u stun someone with it around a corner the follow up is very ez with your molly or anything else.

The peace at the end was so clean timed with that one tap
Tips for Gekko:
1 - with his ultimate, if you clear the whole site with it you can press X to cancel it and you can pick it up from a safe place to use again 10 sec later. It's better than trying to detain someone in their spawn far away where your teammates can't kill him.
2- with his ult you can press M1 2 times if you want it to detonate close (without doing that loong jump animation)
3 - there are places on some maps where with his flash on defence is really good to get early info, you throw it exactly above you and it will land in same spot from where you threw (ex: waterfall on Lotus to check C push...)
I've been playing Gekko since he came into the game. I have some tips/info about him
- his flash has a range - flashing A long on Lotus doesnt really work (same with B long on Pearl)
- when you ult, and don't catch anybody, it makes sense to come back with the little guy as close to you as possible, so you can easily pick him up and use him again later.
- also, you can dogde the flash and "the planting guy"
- I don't know how exactly, but you can flash your teammates and yourself with the blind.

dizzys flash doesnt have a range, but as its not hitreg, it shoots a bullet that takes a while to land. Thats also how it can be dodged, at certain ranges if an enemy moves it doesnt really work.
i blinded myself once i launched dizzy into air but enemy suddenly came too close to me, like right in front of me, so dizzy blinded me accidentally.
As a gekko tip I personally send wigman trough a smoke and when I see he stunned someone then I ult and catch them off guard and is effective sometimes 👍

Its okay MrLowlander :) I once lost 11 games in a row and felt like I'm the worst player in the game. Just take a break and I'm sure you'll make it to Ascendant!
You can throw dizzy straight up over walls but make sure it falls back down to you. Dizzy will see things from a pretty far range. That gap on hookah, for example… you can throw it straight up and it will still see then. But you made it harder to retrieve.

Heres a tip when fighting an ulting Yoru. When you hear him come out of his ult aim your Dizzy straight up.
Idk if the pros still do this, but you should try using the wing man and the dizzy together and pusing along aide them. The enemy is foxusing on destroying the dizzy, cuz it mkght stun them, they have to focus on the dizzy aswell and then you push out and there's npthing they can really do. Also you should look at (I think) T1's gekko on bind, there's probably good stuff you can learn from that
a tip for gekko: when using your ult and you dont spot anyone, if you have more time try to lead him to expire in a safe spot so you can get him again ezpz

4:40 pro tip, you cant turn from the gekko flash, it will blind regardless, so saying anti-flash is wrong cuz you cant turn away from it lol
Some Gekko Tech I found out by playing him a bit and watching a lot about him
1) His flash has an infinite range, and therefore can be used, if not as a long range flash, but as a recon, so you can throw it straight up.
For example, on Ascent A site, from switch if you hear steps main, so your duelist can take the duel and you can easily recover it
2) Gekko wingman can break both Sage and Deadlock's wall, provided he was sent out for planting the spike
3) His molly has viper orb trajectory
4) Thrash's detain only lasts 5 seconds, compared to Killjoy's 10 sec detain
Dizzy doesn’t have infinite range I don’t think
And thrash detain is 6 seconds I think
Here's a tip with gekkos ult, when your using thrash try to bhop it make thrash harder to hit and it looks funny but I don't recommend it because you can miss while bhopping

A good tip when usijg the ult is to click it twice to make it explod mid air if ur aboit to overshoot it

One trick i like doing as gekko is if your ult does not see anyone bring it back as close to you as possible (without getting yourself ofc) also ult is really good in a combo with raze or brim ult
