8:57 it’s smart to throw your flash straight up because it sees over the wall and it lands back to you. It is useful because you don’t have to pick it up on site. Almost every wall on pearl is short enough for this to work.
maybe throw it a bit backwards so you arent stuck in a basically guarenteed death spot

@@banben1585 but he´s smurfing in Plat? How far is it really from Plat to Diamond? I know that the skill level increases exponentially the higher you go, e.g. from silver 1 to gold 3 is less of a difference than from Ascendant3 to Immo1.

As a Controller main, Phantom all the way. Spamming through smokes without tracers is OP
Im not even a controller main but Phantom is just way more superior on most maps (Split/Pearl/Ascent/Fracture) just because you can have more close quarter combats. Not only that but recoil is easier to control, 5 more bullets/10 more reserves, no tracers and faster fire rate. Vandal is for those who always peek mid or players who goes for long range fights even in defense. Phantom is very superior in defense especially holding sites because its 156 when someone is near site, also viper ult, easy smoke kills with phantom without consequences.
@@NeXbi i would say vandal is better in general since most sites have at least one long range angle and vandal just has a huge advantage in long range fights if i remember correctly 5 percent higher winrate for b long on pearl
In rank matches the vandal is better because of its ability to one tap the opponent and although it takes a bit of time to learn how to control it if u shift from the phantom but because of its damage it outshines the Phantom atleast in rank, in competitive though there's a lot of synergy between them, so u need to hit shots when u can with as less recoil as possible and with Phantom having a better first bullet accuracy it is the way to go
All that yapping only to hit 140 to head
here is a tip for you as from a gekko main, try to use your abilities in combination with your other abilities like if you want to kill someone or clear space its better to use both wingman and dizzy at the same time so the enemy will have hard time to kill them and they will get stun/flash/both , instead of using them 1 by 1 (note: use wingman 1st because he is slower then dizzy) and if you want wingman to plant or defuse the spike use dizzy to protect wingman and go for the kill
basically make the enemy uninstall the game by dumping util on them. and for his mosh I dont think its good to use his molly in the post plant but rather to use it while executing the site, lets say you want to push A site on haven, so try to make a lineup for heaven or ct so they cant swing/peek you from there. and for defense I am using mosh pit to rush the enemies like on A site lotus I am throwing mosh pit on root and pushing with my team fighting in the rubble area instead of the site it self
142 RR. 142 RR… then I play games and I get 24 RR. Also very helpful series since I’m learning gekko, and tip if your behind coffee shop in pearl use your dizzy straight up but look behind you and throw it

hey lowlander! its me again lmao. the broze guy who reached silver! just wanted to let you know that i actually used a few tips in my games and they are actually really helpful (i main gekko). thank you:D
I recommend learning some lineups with Marsh on operator spots. Don't peak immediately. Wait a few seconds and then peak the oper. Another trick with Gekko is running and jumping while using Dizzy. It gives an insane speed boost for dizzy making it very difficult to shoot, and throwing Dizzy while jumping straight into the air on places like Lotus, Binder & pearl can give vast amounts of information if you know where the right spots are to throw Dizzy into the air. Always Use Dizzy Or Wingman With Your Ultimate When Peaking The Detained Enemy in Incase A Enemie Is There.
Tip-You dont need to hold the w key while using the gekko ult so yeah don't hold w on gekko ult

Hey MrLowlander sir, with wingman its best to combo him with flash weather your planting or sending him to defuse because it gives them multiple things to shoot at this works really well if you know where someone is you can send wings and flash and they cant fight back.

Phantom good for me because I use Cypher, if I want to play ring around the rosie with my enemies and putting random tripwires and cages to be more annoying, and they won't see my bullets.

3:45 but this only works if you have at least some side control! i had a Gekko in my ranked game recently that sent off Wingman with Spike to plant without even knowing how many enemies are on side and where they are, for multiple rounds. Of course they shot Wingman before he could plant, so we had to play retake to get the Spike back. We asked him to stop doing that but he didn't listen and did it again and again. Needless to say that we lost that game. :/
I like the phantom better to make up for my horrible inconsistent aim, however im forced into using a vandel to improve my aim and i have a skin for it…

I used to play phantom because i didn't trust my aim with a vandal, but then i switched to vandal when i kept hitting enemies for 140
little tip pick up ur stuff more often if u dont then its just a waste to play gekko

Normally people always complain about hitting 140's or 124's with the phantom, but that is because you are not shooting enough bullets. Most vandal mains will hit a head with phantom and stop shooting as they expect them to be dead. u just gotta spray bro

I honestly don't understand what's the deal with the de-ranking in the game, i'm plat1, and got lowered to gold1. First game gave 32, the second gave me almost 150RR and jump back to gold3 at 90RR. If you will be placed again where you were before, what's the point to get deranked so badly, idk.
