Yeah. Dimple is just the vocal line while Pied Piper is all seven of them. :) This was at their 5th Muster - Magic Shop. They used to do a Muster (gathering with fans) celebration once a year. That high note towards the end of Dimple you thought was JK or Jimin, was actually V. These songs were back to back. If you want to see them go "all out" check out the brand new performance they just did on Saturday to their song "Run BTS". Bangtantv (official channel) released the live performance and they also released a bangtanbomb (behind the scenes staff filmed) video that shows both MIC Drop and Run BTS together.

Hey guys, thanks for the reaction. This performance was for their fanmeeting - which they call a 'muster' (it ties into the theme of BTS and ARMY, where they are gathering everyone together). This was for their 5th Muster 'Magic Shop' and usually its a more intimate concert/ fanmeeting where they chat with ARMYs and do performances for songs that aren't in their planned tours/ world tour concerts.
Dimple was written by RM (Namjoon) about his own Dimples hehehe.. and he got the vocal line to sign it - basically they were serenading him haha.
Pied pier was written for ARMY - basically telling us to focus on us but in a cute and sexy way! We all collective d!ed haha. Its such a great song. Both these songs are awesome.

Pied Pier is one of my most favorite songs from BTS. It's a stern warning and seductive message to Army. It's based from the story Pied Piper where a rat-ridden city asked a piper to lure the rats out of their city but they didn't pay the piper. Out of anger, he used his pipe to lure all the children with him to the forest.
In this song, BTS starts by saying your parents and teachers all hate us (BTS) because you're distracted. BTS is telling Army to study and focus on yourself. Later in the song, BTS seduces Army telling us that we're good for them.
I love the contrast of the message and understood nature of obsession Army's have for them. They're telling us to stop obsessing but also that we should because they're good to us. Genius concept in my opinion.
the message that BTS wanted to give with Pied Piper is so beautiful and precious. Armys have literally grown up with tannies, and you might have seen the boys always telling us "put yourself first" "love yourself" "please be happy, that's all that matters" and that's truly the essence of Pied Piper as well
It's a Lowkey diss to armys but also at the same time a tease to army. Like push & pull kinda love relationship with armys but their message is don't forget to love yourself as well. Remember BTS is d only group who can roast their fandom & their Company's chairman but u'll end up loving them more & into the rabbit hole we all went.😂💜. They always say they're fans of us too, even the company gets inspired with armys artworks, even BTS (Jimin saved an armys artwork & showed it in his phone during a weverse live and inspired his tattoos coz V saw the artwork and showed it to him). Plus ARMY is tattooed on JK's hand.

Our man with the dimples (RM) wrote this song which I find hilarious. It’s basically about himself and he had the vocal line sing it😂 the vocal line is serenading him at this point
He has 2 dimples but one is shallow, the other one is the deeper one & later on I discovered JK got 2 dimples too & recently this year I discovered Jimin has one dimple too. Imagine im an army since 2018 😂 & I've been watching their lives, MVs, Run BTS, Bon Voyage, all contents, live guestings, award shows etc. Plus Hobi has small upper dimples same like my friend's when they smile.
@@sprikitik9719 sometimes it changes when you gain or lose weight. Like me, since I've gained weight and got slightly chubbier cheeks, I've got a shallow dimple on my right cheek. I think that their faces are changing, maybe because they're getting "older", Jimin tends to have chubbier cheeks so he's got a dimple similar to mine, and Jungkook's cheeks are hollower than before and that seems like it made those dimples stand out

Or u mean there's dimples already but as u lose weight or gain weight it becomes visible because it's not deep & as defined as Namjoon's? Because my highschool best friend has dimples when she has regular weight & now after having kids she gained a lot of weight but she still has dimples but her dimples are really deep like Namjoon or maybe longer & deeper both cheeks.

@@sprikitik9719 That exactly! I've never had dimples before these past couple of years, so I automatically assumed that I wouldn't ever. My mom also has a dimple like that on the same spot, which comes and goes depending on her weight. So I guess that some people have them whether their weight fluctuates or not, and some people have shallower ones that show only when their faces look a certain way.
While it's not as charming, I guess it's something similar to people with double chins😂 Some are prone to it, doesn't matter if they are chubby or not, some people aren't so they have to gain a lot of weight before getting it, and others' jawlines always stay defined 🤷🏽♀
Since Jin tends to somehow get lost a lot of times in reactions, I would kindly ask you to pull up some of his songs. He has a great voice that has been credited as Silver Voice by critics. And btw he is the next one to come out with a solo single called The Astronaut, a song that has been gifted to him by Chris Martin from Colplay, he will sing it for the first time at their concert on the 28th of Okt in Argentina, that will be broadcasted in cinemas, we are so excited!
Here are some of his solos, not all have MVs but I recommend to read the lyrics anyway, BTS are famous for their lyrics)
- Awake (first time they sang solos for their album)
- Moon (choosen by Rolling Stone as #5 of the best fan songs by boy bands overall, ARMY is the earth and Jin the moon in this song)
- Super tuna (super catchy song and choreo he made for fun reasons only, because he likes to go fishing, but he created a big trend and thousands of Tik Tok videos followed)
- Yours (an OST, songs sung for Korean Dramas)
- Tonight (a song witten for his pet that died)
- Abyss ( a song he was encouraged to make by their boss, with whom they have a wonderful friendship, because Jin was at a dark place in times of Corona and eventually fell into a depression)
But especially one song is very dear to ARMY, "Epiphany" you can watch the video whitch is related to their several MVs following storyline, but the concert, when the whole stadium sings "I'm the one I should love in this world" holds a special place in my heart and each time the tears roll. It's like the highlight of the whole "Love Yourself"album series, when the realization kicks in, that it's ok and great to make others happy, but at the end of the day, you need to love yourself first.
V and jin , both of them have a great voice and a great personality , both of them can go high with their voices
V goes high and low beautifully. And the way he moves and his gazes is mesmerizing.
Taehyung has the widest vocal range and has been chosen as the most handsome man in the world for over 100 times for a reason

*Dimple* was written by RM thinking about his dimple and the lyrics is something that he wants someone to tell him, basically he wrote it for himself😆
*Pied Piper* is a song reminding ARMYs to focus on our studies or works and stop watching their contents for a while, but at the same time the lyrics were very teasing and ofc the choreo🤧

I'm so obsessed with Jungkook's vocal, he can hit any note even while dancing, his voice never cracked on live performances, he never needed any auto tune, his voice is very smooth and makes me feel calm. His voice fit every song. Our main vocalist❤❤
Jin’s vocals and high notes are so outstanding and powerful ❣️. In BTS, Jin and Jimin are in charge of hitting higher notes, but the four vocal line (Taehyung, Jungkook, Jin and Jimin) can hit high notes effortlessly 💯.
Officially, the names you talk about to the sub groups, musically speaking, are three lines:
Vocal line: the vocalists, Jin, Jimin, V, JK
Dance line: the dancers Jimin, JK, J-Hope, V
Rap line: Suga, J-Hope, RM
Aside from music, we sometimes separe them for age too, the:
Hyung (word male friends call their older male friends) line: with the 4 oldest, Jin (92), Suga(93), J-Hope(94), RM(94)
Maknae (word for youngest) line: with the three youngest, Jimin(95), V(95), JK (97)
& including 3J sub unit
Dance line : V + 3J
And then an individual song might have any grouping as a sub-unit eg. Jamais Vu with J-hope, Jin and Jungkook, or the Jimin/V duet Friends.
it's funny seeing some people commenting that it's only 3j in the dance line but taehyung is in the dance line since 2018 the members also said it and fr taehyung is bts underrated dancer cause some armys dont appreciate it and ofcourse bts have 3j subunit but doesn't mean that taehyung isn't also in the dance line. Jin and Jimin are mostly responsible for the high notes. Jimin's falsetos. And if you hear someone belt that is most definitely Jin. He is a belting God. Kookie's adlibs. And Tae's ability to be so smooth with his voice. That's the vocal line.

The minute you said you were going to listen to 'Dimple' and 'Pied Piper' I yelled, "YAY!!!!". I love them both. RM loves his dimples and wrote this because he wanted to write about dimples. It's sung just by the vocal line. They kill it and the dance moves are so sexy. Sometimes they do unit performances and this is one of those. No rappers in this. Their in ears do match their their mics but at this point JK's were striped blue and red which makes purple, the colour of his mic. Now he has purple ones. I'm glad you noticed V's dancing. He has a definite style of his own. He officially became part of the dance line in 2018, I think, after he danced solo for his song, 'Singularity'. The rap line joined in for 'Pied Piper'. It's a special song telling ARMYs that they shouldn't follow BTS and neglect their studies and work. However, like the 'Pied Piper' we must follow them. You'll hear the word, 'hajima' a lot which means, 'don't'. Yes they are given oxygen as they come off stage. You can see it in videos. It's quite distressing to see. You must watch dance practices. They are often fun versions and you get to see the choreo much better. Dare I suggest you watch the dance practice for 'Baepsae'? You need holy water on hand for that, LOL.
Since you guys were discussing about the vocalists...here's a short note(not mone originally, its copy pasted): (tho I don't know if you'll read this among so many comments XD)
1) Jin has the strongest voice in terms of belts, adlibs and extended notes.
2) Taehyung (V) has the most extensive vocal range and the most textured voice.
3) Jimin has the most layered voice [can make his voice sound completely different every time] as well as the highest pitch.
4) Jungkook has the most malleable voice [he adapts really quickly to the genre of the song in terms of technique- trot, ballads etc.] and he is the king of adlibs.

Jungkook is the king of adlibs. Let’s not show our bias when making these statements. Let’s stick to facts.
I agree to most of these, but JK is way better than Jin when it comes to adlibs. Sometimes, V is even better than Jin when doing adlibs. I just also want to add that among the vocal line, V and Jungkook can support and have significant vibratos. Jin and Jimin have the high pitch singing voice (Not sure but I think Jimin is almost like a countertenor, correct me if I'm wrong).
PS. I'm not comparing them in a negative way. I'm just pointing out some points you missed and highlighting their strength when singing.

Okay first of all this comment was a copy paste, and yeah I agree to all the comments below. This just provided an overview so I pasted it here. I personally can type much more in depth about each one of them but it kinda gets overwhelming.
Good songs to see how crazy V range is too. He does the low and high notes so effortlessly, I'm always amazed by it
V does have the widest vocal range. His voice can go really high and really low...so talented! They are literally so beautiful...so mesmirizing 😍
Although all of the vocal line have unbelievable ranges, Jin actually has the widest range.

I really love Jungkook's vocals they are so smooth and so easy on ears and so comforting I like his voice a lot and his stage presence here is so laid back but still commanding and in hardcore songs he's in such an intense and aggressive mode I really love seeing him on stage ❤
actually V has the lowest and the highest notes in BTS! he has a baritone register but can go very high if he wants. you will learn more about his underrated vocals through your BTS journey!!
actually Jimin & Jin have the highest vocal range. V, on the other hand, has the lowest & widest vocal range. While JK has the most stable & cleanest vocal.

I believe Jimin's highest is Bb5, Jin's B5, and Taehyung's is C6.

Taehyung vocals are really really good and for me taehyung actually balances the vocal line since jin,jm, and jk jave a high range of vocals but taehyung has the deepest one. Harmonization and stuff are done beautifully because his voice compliments the vocals of the other three.
I am obsessed with Jungkook’s vocal skills, he serves differently in each song.. it's so addicting. His lil runs and adlibs.. Also he looks breathtakingly gorgeous

I love V's voice on both of these songs. When the music stops or the instrumental becomes minimal and you can only hear his deep and husky voice.
Jin's vocals are also amazing!!! he has one of the most stable vocals and can pull really high notes as well. oh and his falsetto is **chef's kiss*. I wish you react to his solo work like epiphany, awake etc to see how much of a gem with a silver voice he is.
Bts mma 2019 performance is definitely an awesome one to check out the video is around 45 or 48 minutes long but it's definitely worth it

V is the king of fancam for a very good reason. his dancing is smooth and mesmerizing. along with his facial expressions its a killer combination. his voice is smooth but he can hit the really high notes too. you should listen to compilations of his vocals and osts.

Dimple was the vocal line (Jungkook, Jimin, Jin and V) and Pied Piper was all of them including the Rap Line (RM, Suga and J-Hope). They put on their sexy for us in this performance. The side glance by Jungkook in Pied Piper gets me every time, but I think you guys missed it somewhere near the beginning of Pied Piper. FYI - they Just did a Live Concert in Busan, South Korea and their opening 3 songs were high energy and totally lit! (MicDrop, RUN BTS, and Run). I really don't know how they manage it. Yes, they go on diets, exercise, dance practices, etc. etc. before doing concerts. After this last one, V said he didn't drink any alcohol for the 2 months leading up to the concert either. They do run on treadmills and practice singing while running. :) Anyway, these 2 are some of my favorites, but I think my favorite performance is now RUN BTS, and also Black Swan will always hold a special spot in my heart.

I adore Jungkook voice, I didn't like - and still do - any voice in K-pop but Jungkook made me do it, Jungkook is a special voice for me that gives me comfort enjoyment and a feeling of ecstasy, plus his dance and movements that blend with his perfect body and handsome face, Jungkook is a perfect combination of all perfect things, his voice, his handsomeness, his body, his voice again ^^ his hair his face and his personality which is completely different on stage than he is in reality, you can see a powerful beast that no one can defeat on stage, but in reality you find him a very kind, humble person who has innocent eyes, respects and bows to everyone With love and respect, anyway i just adore Jungkook
Jungkook’s vocal technique is insane to me. It’s crazy how mailable his voice is. And he’s so consistent with dancing and singing at the same time. Loved the reaction. Hii! I’m sure you probably don’t intend to but I feel like your missing out on Jin and v. Jin songs always hit me hard. I wish you could check out some of his solos such as his ost ‘ yours’ and epiphany. For V, he probably has one of the most wide ranges of voice. He can get really baritone but would hit high notes such as his song stigma I recommend watching the live.
Try to notice V whenever he sings. He "interacts" with the camera too, in different ways, depends on the mood of the song. Hehehe! Love yourself tour, first 2 songs were Dionysus & Not today and the concert in Busan the other night, They started with Mic Drop & Run Bulletproof. I don't know how on earth they do it. They go & go. They are amazing!

No hate to y’all but I feel like alot reaction videos overlook Jin. His voice is amazing and it is said that he has the highest range, but nobody every talks about him.

I couldn’t help but remember you guys when news of their enlistment dropped yesterday. Yes, it saddened me (even though we all saw it coming), but one of the bright sides is that you guys now have THREE WHOLE YEARS TO CATCH UP on all the BTS content that there is 😭

V has always been a great dancer since 2013 he's like an "idol" dancer he learns choreographies so fast and has a great muscle memory. He was finally promoted to the dance line in 2018 after singularity dropped and he gets treated like a lead dancer joining the 3Js (j-hope Jimin Jk) . He adopted his own style smooth and dances with swag

If you guys want o get to know more of Jin’s vocals you should really watch epiphany and awake. They are two of my personal favorites. I recommend these because I heard you mention you knew more of Jimin ,v and jungkooks vocals. Also Jin is the next one to bring out there solo albums to I guess it would be a good start to get to know his voice. Oh and if you guys are interested in any of the rap line song a recommend ugh, ddang, or any of there cyphers 😁

*****please don’t sleep on Jin. ****As announced yesterday he will be the first one to leave for the military, as soon as the end of this month. (I am ot7 but also Jk/Jin biased). Jin is who brought me to BTS in 2016 when I heard his solo “Awake”. I finally got to see them in April in Las Vegas. 2.5+ hour show. Since I am the lone Army in my friends group etc, I went to the concert by myself but didn’t feel alone at all. -my son drove with me-
If you guys could do an episode for Jin that would be amazing! Awake + Epiphany live or MV both awesome but live is unreal.
I can’t believe as a grown woman I actually 😢 thinking of him leaving so soon. I am thankful for Jin coming at a time in my life when I truly needed them. 💜💔💜

When you said i wonder whats their routine like before performing, my mind just went to their chaotic heads backstage 😂 Jungkook boxing w his trainer and proceed to hit his hyung's butts or fight w Jin. Jimin & V chasing each other, Hobi's laughter fill the room while taking pics of the chaos, Joon probably so done w them and Yoongi probably sitting somewhere unbothered 😂
On a serious note, they train like crazy. Im sure many ARMYs have or will mention about the hours (per day) they put in to perfect their crafts, working out and go on diets for stamina etc.Youre right, they sometimes collapsed after an intense performance like IDOL etc its really heartbreaking to watch them gasp for air, given oxygen etc 😭 they worked so hard and their love for what they do n and for ARMY, these guys are the best people I swear. Not just as performers but as people 🥺💜

Taehyung's (V) range is no joke. He can go really low like in singularity and really high like in stigma or many other songs like pied piper. He has a really good falsetto.
