You gotta start making components and activating them when working on them, they help to find parts later and declutter the left side of your screen. You can also rigid group the component later to skip having to lag with joints. I do this to so that i can motion link my wheelbase and other moving parts for animation.
i usually make components but opted not to for this assembly because i'd never touch it after this, but you are right. i've never rlly seen a use in rigid grouping the entire assembly at the end if everything is static, and even with rotating parts, i just ground whatever i'm jointing the rotating component to. thanks for the comment though!
@@ali-1353 ive just started to CAD my drivebase for the season and one way i've been using rigid group is for the wheel and gear that need to move together on a screw joint. Once ive made a rigid group and a motion joint it moves like it would in the real world.
