Thank you for posting again. I enjoy your deep dives so much. Honestly, a thorough product review is preferable as far as I’m concerned. Several products combined in a long format review is perfect. I am glad you are feeling better ❤
So glad to “see” you friend! Feeling much better indeed. Definitely agree, I love long thorough content where I can see everything properly too. It just gives a much more realistic idea of the product.
I’ve been torturing over which shade(s) to get since the launch of the liquid silks😭 I also love Lisa Eldridge’s matte shadows, especially her velvet mattes. So much so I think I might wait for the other two palettes and build an all velvet palette with one of them and some choice singles… anyway gorgeous looks all around, I wasnt sold on Gaia but you definitely convinced me on it that second look was truly inspired! So happy to see two Mariam uploads, I do also love the quint formula from PML so v excited about the holiday mega mthrshp this year I have to admit🫢🫢
I know what you mean, I love the LE matte shades so much I would not even mind an all matte palette. Haha I think the look with Gaia was a spontaneous stroke of genius 😂.
You made a very good case for the use of the fawn palette: travel, on rushed mornings and as a good neutral base for other sparklers that will be the star of the show. I bought it for the same reasons and it has been meeting those needs form me. It’s so easy to grab and store.
Now this is way more up my alley. I love this, all of it. I would enjoy and use this a lot. I am pacing myself though. I want to see what other brands bring to the table for holiday before I make my decision. On the top of my list is a Burberry holiday palette, I feel like Burberry, VBB, LE are all very similar and possibly use the same manufacture/lab. If Burberry don’t give us another holiday palette I will probably buy another LE palette. I love how these eyeshadows wear throughout the day.
@@mariam.a. There are different era’s of Burberry beauty. Back in the day under makeup genius Wendy Rowe Burberry had a very specific ‘Burberry Look’ and a cult following. They perfected the ‘Brown Smokey Eye’ by creating the most muted and nuanced brown shadows that are still amongst my favourites (No other brand has come close to emulating). Pale Barley, Midnight Brown, Rosewood are legendary shades. Before there was Lisa Eldridge and VVB there was Burberry with their thin contour sticks, highlighting sticks and Eye contour shadow sticks. Then they disappeared. Then lo and behold Burberry 2.0 aka ‘VVB’ was created along with products so similar/identical it was uncanny. Over the years they have had other makeup visionaries like Isamaya at the helm who produced the 2021 & 2022 holiday palettes (both amazing quality palettes). This year they released 4 neutral quads of impeccable quality and us die hard fans were beside ourselves at a come back. Their formula is impeccable. It’s not ultra reflective or blingy. Just the most creamy gorgeous shimmers and mattes that blend and last on the eyes all day.
@@mariabroberg8887 thank you. That’s good to know. The liquid lurex crease terribly on me unless I build a rock solid base so I’ve been cautious about these - not withstanding the claims.

I think I like grey or brown but French Grey doesn't know which one it is :D A darker neutral brown would turn Vega into a more versatile travel palette for me as it would be great for deepening the crease and using as a brown liner. The pinky coral and the warmest light brown matte in Fawn are just not for me... I am tempted by the other shades, but as you say, they are not super different so it feels harder to justify compared to Vega and Sorcery, which I also own and love. Fawn, to me, doesn't come across as a well curated palette. Because there are so many browns that feel repetitive. Neutral, everyday eyeshadows, I understand, yes. But this seems not well thought out. Perhaps added a brown that has a purplish undertone, instead of 2 similar dark browns. There are 6 shades in the palette, why not have 3 lighter and 3 darker shades. A matte cream shadow instead one of the redundant browns?

I was not a fan of the foundation either, tried the samples twice and it just wasn’t for me.
You can check out Daphne I think DapsMakeup on youtube. She bought one of the Chanel cream to powder blushes so she is a good one to check for darker skin tone recommendations.
Oeh girl, share the code for lookfantastic please!
It is not in my order (doesn’t show what it was just that I got 25% off) and I doubt it still works. Just google lookfantastic kortingscode 😉.
Agreed, there could be one less brown for sure.
Oh the new LE palette is just boring enough for me😂🎉🎉
Haha yay!!!
LE products I've not been impressed with. Her counter in London already looking tired. Nope, the foundation awful. The lipstick broke in half. Just not for me
Not everything is for everyone. At least you are safe from spending your money on LE makeup.
well: judging a cosmetic based on how much money the Investors put into the counter is hilarious.
sure. Go right ahead

Did the lipstick break? ProTip: 1️⃣don’t drop your lipsticks. & 2️⃣don’t carry bullets hot days, CARRY GLOSS.
That's so unfortunate because my lipsticks have been played with (a 3 year old and a 6 year old playing catch) and never broke. The foundation looks horrid on me but I have dehydrated skin in a dry climate. My friend has oily skin and it looks gorgeous... Interesting how products work so different for people!
