You can do the first two with just the one bench and teleporter. They are connected by a portal- then up the gated ladder. Takes about 20 seconds then return to base.
You definitely can, however this process is quicker again and includes all three power cells, particularly when you are doing several farming runs of different resources time efficiency. But that could also be my old habits from doing speed runs coming through. I do like an optimised path! 😁
I personally just use jetpack to quickly pick up the batteries when I need some. With gravity cube you can literally just skip the environment and fly. Even on top of the last building.
Not so much a question about this but where you have set up base. Do you consider that a good place to set up base? I currently have one above the Blacksmith in Manu. West and used to have one over at the security area close to the entrance on Manu. West (with the shooting range and such). I've googled around and I see a lot of different opinions about where a good base is from the Gym in Office sector to 3rd floor office break room to some of the portal worlds like the Furniture store. I suppose if you are ever looking for ideas for future videos, maybe something to think about?
I have found once I get to the Labs, having the personal transporter drastically changes how you get around, it can be worth having a base near the fountain in the office sector, as that is where carts teleport to using the cart recall button near Warren's security booth. The Gym is a great and easy to defend location for a solo player particularly in the early game. the 3rd floor break room is viable, as long as you have the robot set up to be m=auto-farmed so it doesn't wreck things. I've had a few requests for a base locations video, so I'm strongly considering making a video on that topic soon
@@AzygousWolf Alright thanks, will be sure to keep note of that. I haven't unlocked the personal transporter yet as I am only just into the Labs and trying to figure out where everything is but did find the spot where your base at the beginning was so was curious.
@@Altoryu I found is fairly good with close proximity to water and a robot for access to metal scrap, not to mention the tram when you unlock that. You'll spend a bit of time exploring the lab and this is a good spot to return to, plus there is the security cart spawn close by as well.
@AzygousWolf any future plan to do a guide on how to get amunition? Because I just got into the fungal realm, made a bio-scaner and that ammo disapear quickly

I just needed to do this but for chorus fish, and gosh be damned if I didnt had the synphonist trinked already

i prefer infinite energy in later bases but having powercells doesnt hurt.^^
For sure, but it can take a bit for some people to get to that stage, so power cells still help!
