  • Sampling the Model:Cycles!
The Model:Cycles is one of my favorite grooveboxes, however, I've long felt that the snare drum machine is lacking in overall effectiveness. So today, I want to sample the snare drum from the Model:Cycles into the Polyend Tracker to see if it can be beefed up at all. Let's see how two of my favorite devices work together! Enjoy the video :)

Loved the end result after the slicing. So many fun options.

polyend tracker will be a great piece of gear long term, actually got to try a dirtywave m8 recently, decided to keep my tracker and sold the m8...both great but the buttons and screen on the polyend are so nice

I'm really interested in the M8, what are your thoughts and feelings on it?

@@FreeBeat Great device, great synths, portable, solid build....not enough screen and buttons for me. the polyend tracker just has a button for everything and its instant, the m8 you have to learn menu pages which isn't bad but its not instant like the tracker

Hi, couple of questions Which mixer you use for both machines? Which brand of speakers use? Regards

My mixer/recording for the videos is the Zoom Livetrak L-12 (linked in the description). I actually don't use speakers, I only run headphones. Thanks for watching!

I really want to try the Model:Cycle (mainly because of your channel). I like the OP-Z too. It tick pretty much all the boxes. The main draw back? Build quality. I hope TE will give us a field version (build like a tank). I will buy it on a heartbeat.
Great video as usual Mr FreeBeat. Inspire me to do something similar on M8. ✌️🎶
