Do you think it would be better if they just made defensive items only have defensive stats (as in no damage procs) so that if you want any damage stats at all you have to build damage items?
I feel like most of the balance around those items are for solo lane. Guardians can go full defense and be fine, but when you start going hybrid for solo Warriors then it can really affect the meta because they'll either be too strong or too weak. There's really no in between, that's why balance changes happen every so often; the game evens out. It's also hard to balance a game that has over 120 characters. No matter what happens, some gods are just going to be bad.

they are all for solo lane and solo lane is supposed to do some dmg but still be a tank
