GM Igor Smirnov, an excellent teacher!! Your videos are clear and easy to understand! I thank you for keeping it professional!! Thank you for your precious time and contributions to the sport of chess!!
It's not like that . The reson is u study only 1variation . But u have to study all the variation deeply . Every trap as an counter attack and if played correctly then that counter attack can be defended

Note: in the second trap (accelerated dragon) if black takes with the d pawn after white pushes to e6 then the game continues 10 Bb5+, bd7 (blocking) 11. BxB, QxB then 12 Qe5 (forking the rooks again)
Brilliant videos helped me win lots of games and also makes chess more enjoyable at my level when you know opponents are scratching their heads. Particularly like d4, e4 opening. Thank you
Lot of souvenirs for me with this video 🙂I'm from Belgium and when I began to play chess o'Kelly was one of our few GM. Problem in this system is that white can go for the Maroczy setup and it's though to play as black when you are not correctly prepared, maybe a good Idea for a next video ? I played the Kan system when I was beginner but I lost many games and I changed for another one, but definitely one I would be ready to play again if I had time to review its theory. Also there is another famous trap with Bc4xe6 when Fischer had reviewed a position that was commonly played in USSR at that time and he used it in tournament shorty after
I when my opponent starts as white with king's pawn to e4, and I respond as black with Sicilian pawn to c5, and then white responds with king's side knight to f3 (open Sicilian), is there a specific initial Sicilian black defense version (? a6 O'Kelly, ? d6 Najdorf, ? e6 French, ? queen side knight to c6, ? king side knight to f6, ? other) that works best against white's open Sicilian (in order for me to know what best 2nd move I should make as black) ? thank you for all you have done for the chess community!
At 4.30 if black checked woth the queen, after moving whites king, of white doesn't maintain focus on the c7 square it becomes checkmate if whites knight moves here...
At 8:32 the game is not end yet , PAWN D7 can eat the white pawn and now its queen against queen then you guys play the rest in your mind what could possibly happen or the outcome, just saying:) peace ✌️
This is informative, however it would be even better if more alternative moves were considered. For example, in 3:06, what if black played Qa5, or in 7:23 what if black recaptures away from the center, or 11:12, what if black plays Nc6, ...etc?
i think players that bring out both knights early in the game and players that use the knights as their primary offensive players are hallmarks of an older generation of chess players. Both my grandfather and father's generation seemed very fond of using their knights extensively in chess. Some players can be lethal with their knights but I always found their importance very easy to negate.
In the first game i dont know how that is an opening trap. there has been well over 20 moves to get to that trap. Also you would need your opponent to make 10 or 11 moves that you need him to make if your idea is to work. wonder what the odds on that happening are. ?
Actually, there are only 7 moves when black falls into the trap. After :8.Bxe6, fxe6 9. Knxe6 it’s forced for the queen to move to b6 or a5. And, if you were paying attention, there was only two moves that black had to make to solidify whites attack. Read a chess book or something, cuz you obviously don’t understand what’s going on.
2.30... wouldn't it be better for the black knight to move to e5 even if it means whites f4 pawn capturing?? This way it doesn't allow the bishop to move without getting taken by the queen or knight.
Then white castles with check and bishop blocks on c3, then queen takes the rook on a1. If instead the knight blocks on c3 after castles, then white moves the queen out of the rooks squares and the game carries on with white being up a queen.
what if blacks move #10 Qe3 check followed by #11 Nb6 and if whites response #11 Nc7 check black moves his king to #12 Kd6 what would be the whites next move

I don't always use chess traps. But when I do, I get trapped

Thanks GM
Good shii my guy 💯!! Seems like everyone around 1400 is playing Sicilian Defense 😂

In another position in the accelerated dragon or whatever when the pawn recaptured back on C6 it would have been the other Pond that Queen's pond
great video
Thanks for your nice tips... you are a jenious person 💖🙏
damn that first trap was insane, i didnt even get to the rest of the video yet and already subbed.
Very good.
Sempuurrnaaa i like it! Bacuse is the beat tenkyu ticher
3:10 is there a continuation if black play Qa5? ( because the knight is pinned ).
Excellent
Thank you for your support
1:14 If black plays e5 what should i do? What's the best continuation.
Fantastic traps, thanks a lot
Very help full 🌕
Glad you think so!
Really good traps
You misspelled 'Accelarated' in the dragon section for the segment title
I liked on Paulsen Variation
When the night moves to E6 black can capture with the pond on ff7 you'll still lose lots of material but it won't be checkmate
Nice traps....
Thankyou......upload more such white attacks against black scissilian defence..plz😀😀
Yeah!
😃
Yes😀
There was a certain position in the dragon lever fish variation where Bishop could go to G4 and attack the Queen the gain a tempo for black
Good these trikes and traps help me much on how play chess better. Go on I follow you, thanks alot.
Pl advise trap in case black plays e-5 early at 5 -6 moves
I come to your class,mr GM

I watch from CENTRAL MINDANAO

Why does Qa5+ work @12:20 but not @7:24 ?
Move 4 for black the better move is to capture with d pawn and also recapture with the queen
On the 4th trap, would you take the centre pawn with Q while you have the pin, then you can attack the corner?
Super
great but if Queen goes in a5 instead of b6, it' s not that great for white!?
Very good trap , l like it very much
In the first trap i think black is fine if he plays Qa5 instead of Qb6
in first case he move knight instead of rock pawn than wht will we do now ...
Hi, I've a question, What to do if black's queen goes to a5 in the first trap? does the trap still work?
parry with pawn
?@@myteasgonecold7143
Pb2 protects nc3 so if black does move to a5 it ends there for black he will still have to move back to the var
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice sir thanks
Really like how you present your chess skills. I’ve learnt more from you than ANY other TH-cam chesser... thanks 😊

Does anyone know queens gambit here?
At 4.30 if black checked woth the queen, after moving whites king, of white doesn't maintain focus on the c7 square it becomes checkmate if whites knight moves here...
Nice video liked subscribed🙂
In the second trap black would play f6
Qa5 stops first trap
The first trap is just epic !!! 😁🖒
. really helpful
At 10.57 , pawn f5 can deflect the queen with capturing the bishop in next move
No coz the pawn on e5 can take it(en-passant)
If white plays d4, can black still play f5? Is that still sicilian defense?
great! thx for uploading in youtube
So Many traps in Sicilian......thanks for great work.
Bold of you to assume I can convert a one-pawn advantage
Why can’t the king take the queen at 5:54?
Bishop could take if proceeded
Thank You. This is a terrific video. :)
Sillian defense
what if at 3:07 black queen to a5
There's also the trap 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 e6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 a6 5.Bf4?? e5! 6.Bxe5 Qa5+ winning a piece.
That’s not a trap. That’s a blunder.
Who's here after the Queens Gambit XD
i think u r the one
Me
Not me. Never even saw it. I'm trying to break 2000 in 3 months.
I'm here because I keep on losing sicilian
Mee
At 8:32 the game is not end yet , PAWN D7 can eat the white pawn and now its queen against queen then you guys play the rest in your mind what could possibly happen or the outcome, just saying:) peace ✌️
3:54 Qe3_kf1 then Nb6 black win
Nc7_Kd7
Qf7_Kc6
Nxa8_Nxa8
Best
I just hit 1000 rating today and started seeing a lot of my opponents playing the Sicilian. They are gonna be in a world of trouble now.
In one of the certain positions in this video the queen goes to B6 why wouldn't the queen just go to a5 and pin the night?
Okay
What if at 8:32, D7 pawn takes the E6 pawn instead of F7?
I think there is no difference which pawn will take
it actually starts at 11:55 if you are interested in playing as black
Thank you very much sir for such a powerful practical traps. I got a lot of learnings from this video lesson.
Anytime.
queen to a4 gets a tempo for black and he can play rook to A&

How romantic.
hi good day can you able to make like this for the KID and KIA. thanks
At first trap what if black would move his queen on h5?
This is a brilliant video. Thank you.
Remove letters or words appearing to cjess board
when black is in check @11:33 why cant the pawn at G7 take the knight then when the quenn moves in for check the black king moves
Because after pawn takes, queen takes queen, king moves to f1 and is a huge advantage for white.
What if the pawn on F file captures the knight in the levenfish trap
Qxd8+ wins for White.
The last one heh

Read a chess book or something, cuz you obviously don’t understand what’s going on.
That’s a lot of things that have to happen still and most players don’t follow the main lines
good

When white bishop is placed on G5, why can't black pawn infront of rooke be placed one step ahead to force the bishop back ?
2.30... wouldn't it be better for the black knight to move to e5 even if it means whites f4 pawn capturing?? This way it doesn't allow the bishop to move without getting taken by the queen or knight.
at 4:17 Nb6 for black is the best move. advantage for black?
then Nc7+ Kd7, Qf7+ Kc6, NxR NxN, Qd5+ and white wins exchange.
11:34 pawn takes night e6? king moves e7 after queen takes queen
