Sweetwater is really the best. One of the only places where the service teams are allowing it to stay relevant in the Amazon world. That said, too bad you can't get a B3 on Sweetwater anymore :)
The keyboard blasted it! And I learned something with this one as I work my way through the inventory...if you watch an LLB video "while" wearing an LLB t-shirt, it comes through in 3D! 🙂 Nicely done all around.
Katie absolutely BLISTERED those vocals!! Holy cow, Katie and Jessica are on fire on the high harmonies! Austin slayed the keyboard solo! And the rest of the band nailed their parts as well. Boston is not an easy band to cover, and once again, all y’all in the LLB make it look easy. Thanks again for helping to keep the greatest music alive!!
I’m constantly blown away by the way LLB is accurate to the original song I remember listening to on the radio. The preparation the band members must make to take apart and learn their individual part, then come together as a band and put it all together so well, is nothing short of amazing. And Austin was absolutely perfect!
Ya'll pulled that together tight!! Everything was SMOKING!! Damn straight, all guitars, all vocals, drums and the killer keyboard work, shit yeah!!!!!!!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Using a female vocalist to cover what Brad Delp originally did.. Shows what an amazing male vocalist he was and the tremendous upper range and power he had. Your female vocalist choice to cover this was spot on... amazing tribute to Brad.
Fantastic rendition of my favorite Boston song. Came to see Austin rip through the Hammond solo, was not disappointed. Great lead vocal by Katie as well.
Even Tom has a tough time playing that crazy keyboard part live.... This was actually better than some of the live clips I have seen of Boston doing this song. Another mind blowing performace. Perfect in every element, as always.
Oh so good!!! Those keyboards are outstanding! Everything so good! The harmonies, the drumming! All of it! I’m smiling, I’m crying, I’m grooving, and I’m grateful! Thank you LLB for another gem!
That was one brilliant performance!! Austin's keyboard was flawless. Everyone's vocals and every instrument meshed with this song. Very well done LLB!!!
I've listen to this song at least one hundred time since I was 17. Your cover is outstanding with a huge organ part ! And the voice nailed it perfectly ! Congrats to you all !
I've heard that the music that came out when you were 13 will always sound the best, throughout your whole life. Can't beat those first two Boston albums.
Good gracious. Spectacular! Every time I hear this song by Boston, I start to rethink my choice for my all-time favorite song. "Smokin'" may one day take the #1 spot, and some of the credit goes to LLB. Watching that keyboard work - and hearing the whole thing come together with tremendous impact - is truly inspiring. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. 😀
LLB’s Boston playlist is 30 minutes of the best cover work you can find anywhere. Every performance is a tribute to the original artists. I play this every time I do a workout - it’s a perfect blend of intensity and inspiration to keep me motivated.
You guys and gals are the VERY BEST !!! I have watched this more times that I will admit to !!! I also had a Hammond B-3 organ, but I could never do this song justice !!! TY TY TY TY TY !!!
Austin, wonderful performance. You make it look so easy. Katie, you were brilliant. Fantastic contribution from the LLB on one of the greatest songs ever recorded.
Honestly - you guys really really NAIL IT with every song !! I don't know how you find selected musicians and singers that are so perfectly suited to play and/or sing the chosen song. Here you chose a woman to sing a man's voice - but it was perfect !!! You found a keyboard musician, that could match the skills of Tom Scholz on the Hammond B-3. Watching you perform is a treat for the eyes and ears!!! AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish you were playing in the NY'NJ metro area !!!
Tom Scholz is an absolute stickler for perfection, so much so that he recorded most of the instruments himself! I'm pretty sure he would appreciate LLB's attention to details! Well Done!!!
What’s not to like, fricking great. Love this group, the hard work, dedication, passion, and fun they bring is amazing. Thank you Lexington for sharing your talent with all of us. God Bless
Katie is amazing and then the backing vocals ... and the sound of Boston was perfect Austin did a perfect job also great guitarsolo - perfect cover as always
I can't believe what I just heard. Astonishing accuracy and a truly superb performance! Just brilliant using Katie as a lead vocal for this song. I am totally convinced that LLB is the all-time BEST tribute band in the world today! Period!
Honestly, a couple of years ago when I discovered LLB I was blown away by the work on Boston's music. In the front of my mind was the nagging thought, "man, I wish they had done Smokin' to round out the set of Boston greats." Good things come to those who wait! As other commenters have said, you guys nailed it in every aspect of the song. What has always intrigued me is that you do multiple performances to get as many camera angles as possible. To maintain that edge, that feeling of nearly losing all control by the singers is amazing. Tremendous energy all the way around. Then the editing, the mixing and the final cut must be a labor of love. Dig it! Y'all are cookin'.
I just realized after 40+ years, this is now for me the best Boston song ever. This cover really shook me and can compare to the original. LLB you did it again. More than a usual.
Outstanding! Brings me back to my early 20's when my girlfriends and I hit the bars and had the time of our lives. LLB rocks it every time without any flaws!
One word sums it up...YES!!!!! LLB does it again!! Each one of you is on point. You guys just keep on having fun and keep on putting smiles on everyone's faces. Thank you again for all the work that goes into every song you guys, and gals share with us. I personally know what goes into making this happen. Hats off to everyone involved. Thanks and keep'em coming. God bless!!
Love Boston. A favorite song of theirs. Love the female vocals used for song. She's intense and love her backup work. Nice to see her take center stage. Amazing LLB!!!!
These musicians have an impeccable ability to absolutely NAIL the correct tones for the guitars and bass EVERYTIME! even the drum heads are tuned in just right
What an amazing solo by Austin. Loved the lead by Katie. Watching her and Jessica with the high harmonies and just seeing how much fun they were having while killing a very hard vocal line. Awesome job as always by the best band?
I got a thrill down my spine almost like the one I got the first time I heard the song when I was 15 years old! Great job; the keyboards were exceptional!
I'm from Boston, in 1976 I was 16 and they had a show at Boston garden, the demand was so high they added 3 more nights, ,4 shows was unheard of, but the songs are amazing, songs Tom wrote are just some of the best soaring rockandroll you could ask for.

I'm sorry guys but I got yours t shirt and found it too beautiful poor quality and overpriced.🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🏴🏴🏴☹️☹️☹️
The keyboard blasted it! And I learned something with this one as I work my way through the inventory...if you watch an LLB video "while" wearing an LLB t-shirt, it comes through in 3D! 🙂 Nicely done all around.

Blistered is right. I can’t swallow!
Giving the late lamented Brad Delp a run for his money.
My IPad just burst into flames…it passed away happily though. Great performance by everyone.
Oh my word. This girl is a boss! Love it.
I’m constantly blown away by the way LLB is accurate to the original song I remember listening to on the radio. The preparation the band members must make to take apart and learn their individual part, then come together as a band and put it all together so well, is nothing short of amazing.
And Austin was absolutely perfect!
Katie pulling notes down from the attic and Randy digging his notes up from the basement with the rest if the band tight--alright! Thank you :)
Wow!!! Gals and guys, once again awesome great job everyone 👏 👍 🙌 😀 👌 ❤️
The fact that a woman is singing lead gives you an idea of how unique Brad D. was.
Yup - and SHE did a fantastic job! But Delp was incomparable.
Brad’s voice WAS Boston! His voice was one of a kind!
You don’t realize how much work goes into the mixing and mastering until you here some bad stuff. Fantastic work by the engineering team.
Ya'll pulled that together tight!! Everything was SMOKING!! Damn straight, all guitars, all vocals, drums and the killer keyboard work, shit yeah!!!!!!!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Good lord! I don't even know how to comment on this. Anything I say wouldn't be complimentary enough.
Sweet Jesus! Unreal…….
Wow! Surprised by the choice for lead vocal but her voice was amazing and perfectly captured the energy from the original. Well done - again- LLB.
Using a female vocalist to cover what Brad Delp originally did.. Shows what an amazing male vocalist he was and the tremendous upper range and power he had. Your female vocalist choice to cover this was spot on... amazing tribute to Brad.
Exactly what I thought! The talent in this group is never ending!
Fantastic rendition of my favorite Boston song. Came to see Austin rip through the Hammond solo, was not disappointed. Great lead vocal by Katie as well.
There are no negative comments here
He absolutely had the keys SMOKIN!
Oh my my! The power of the instruments with just the perfect vocals. Excellent!
Even Tom has a tough time playing that crazy keyboard part live.... This was actually better than some of the live clips I have seen of Boston doing this song. Another mind blowing performace. Perfect in every element, as always.
As always, LLB rocks a Boston song! You are the only band that recreates Boston perfectly. Thank you for sharing your immense talents with us.

That was one brilliant performance!! Austin's keyboard was flawless. Everyone's vocals and every instrument meshed with this song. Very well done LLB!!!
I think Austin is even faster on those keyboards since he cut his hair! Ha ha ha. Fantastic as usual. Don’t stop!
No leash needed on the organ man. He is still there!
