It’s amazing all the abandoned places like old houses, hotels, schools, etc that are still up but decaying 30,40,50 plus years after being occupied.I bet the fun part about going into these places is looking for clues that gives a timeline on when it was last occupied or in use.I always enjoy your content 👍

You found my childhood house from the 80's only flooded in the basement . My Dad used to say he just got back from the Poconos( he was a truck driver ) I always thought that he was joking because it just sounded to funny. Now that I'm 45 with a teenager, I know that he was telling the truth.

I had to come watch this one after seeing the one right after this one! Great B roll at the beginning! I love that old stone walkway and bridge! Atari! They were amazing at the time! All the vintage things you found were amazing! It's a shame all that vinyl is going to ruin in there. I never heard of that gaming system from Sears Roebuck, but I was never a gamer. Those that were are probably familiar with it. That scanner was one of the early electronic tuning scanners. I couldn't tell if that was a unit that had to have crystals for each frequency and just had a digital read out of the channel number, or if it was tunable. I have seen both. Love those old placemats! Many places used to have those and as a child, I always liked looking to see what was in the area. That old record player at 12:15 was awesome! It would be really pretty cleaned and polished, and it might still work. Loved your disclaimer about the definition of "old!" Nice save! 🤣The old TV on legs was in surprisingly good shape. The newer "instant-on" TV sitting on top of the old TV was also more indicative of people living there rather than being short term guests. When a TV stopped working, people would often set the new TV on top of the old one.
It's really too bad these places are left to ruin. They were once very nice. Great video, thank you for sharing!

I would've tried to save the Atari 2600s, Sega Master System and at least the Nintendo game that was inside that rusted NES, they all could've been restored and sold to anyone who enjoys and collects vintage video games.

instant on TVs kind of suck, because the filament inside of the CRT is always on, so it does not take time to warm up, so there is an instant picture, but because they are always on, the CRTs tend to wear out quickly and they dont last long before the picture gets dim and washed out.

what a wild explore, guys,,, so hey that old RCA record player at the 12:11 mark, goes back to the late 1950's early 60's, they actually had decent sound on them, i friend of mine had one similar to it several years back, ,it wouldn't surprise me if you plugged it in and it still worked, it looks halfway decent still,,, i was however upset to see all the record albums, being destroyed in that cellar, mostly the Beatles, i know they're starting to be worth some $$$

Tele-Games was an OEM distributor for Atari. It was an Atari and Atari put Sears name on it. The Atari, Tele-Game and any cartridges would’ve gone home with me to see if there was any chance of repair.
