Special note - Celeste referred to TxT's universe. TxT is the junior group from BigHit that just debuted last year. They also have an extremely intricate universe, and their albums tell their storyline. The same goes for the girl group under the BigHit label, GFriend. That group ALSO has a very involved storyline universe. And last summer, Bang PD, one of the two CEOs of BigHit, made some mention that ALL THREE UNIVERSES will soon collide and become one, like in the Marvel Comics, into a huge BigHit universe. So you may (or may not) see more of a blending and change in direction of this universe, and more mention of the other groups. And don't worry about all of this ending - I don't think we're even close to that just yet.

Hey guys...couple of things...First I gotta apologise to you. I thought a few videos back it was way too early for you to dive into the storyline without knowing who was who...but you’re coping well and pretty much all caught up with the story to the point where I’m nodding and agreeing or arguing at the screen as you theorise, haha as if you could hear me 🤣. An easy way to learn their names is to learn the fan chant. It starts with RM as the leader but then goes in order of age. You hear the chant often at the start of live performances...it goes:
“Kim Namjoon!
Kim Seok-jin!
Min Yoongi!
Jung Hoseok!
Park Jimin!
Kim Taehyung!
Jeon Jungkook!
BTS!”
...and of course stage names are RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook

The girl from the highlight reel did actually survive as jin travelled back in time to prevent it from happening. August 30 Was the date he was supposed to confess to the girl and give smeraldo flowers to her as it was written in her bucket list as jin also has her diary, but the girl got hit by a truck so.... He travelled back in time and Instead of confessing his love he just returned her diary back and apologized for having it. I suggest you to also watch the Fake love explanation by Xceleste to understand about the highlight reels also there is 6 girls in the highlight each member has one except for jimin and jhope as they share one.

You probably feel like you missed loads of things throughout the storyline because you didn’t read the notes, the notes contain the very detailed stories that she’s explaining and they are like dairies from each member. We did tell you the right order for the mvs since the mvs don’t go into as much detail as the notes or the Save Me Webtoon. If you feel like you’ve missed loads then maybe go and read the webtoon since it has all the events in there that she was talking about in the first video.

LOL Don't expect to watch everything like a continuous film. :) It's not like that. If you want a comparison, it's more like a huge puzzle with pieces all over the place. The basic story (let's say a very vague picture) was the I Need You MV. Everything else, all these Notes xCeleste is talking about, all the other MVs, trailers, short films, etc are like puzzle pieces adding more and more details to the picture. Sometimes it's straightforward, you understand immediately what's going on, but sometimes you will have a piece of information in your hand but you won't know where to put it until an other part of the picture is put together and all of a sudden you realize the piece you're holding will fit there. The best example is Taehyung killing that guy in I Need You MV. Only when the Notes for that album and his solo song's trailer (the one with him being arrested and questioned by the detective) came out later we found out that it was his alcoholic, abusive father. That's how it works with all the details and information. So don't worry if you can't put the story together because we still don't have all the pieces on the table. There will be new albums with new MVs and new Notes to take the story further.

The members use there real name when they talk to each other and the fans sometimes call them by there real names.
Rm- kim namjoon (he chose rm bc RM stands for real me) Also some of there nicknames there fans call them to make it easier is Joon.
Jin- kim seokjin (jin is just short for his name) One nick name of his is Worldwide
Suga- min yoongi (I forgot exactly why but from what I remember it’s bc his skin is so pale like sugar) his nickname is agust d or lil meow meow( yes some fans call him lil meow meow bc he sometimes resembles a cat😂)
Jhope- Jung hoseok (he chose his name bc he wanted to be the hopeful one in the group) one of his Nicknames to make it easier to call out his name is Hobi and his other nickname is hope/sunshine..
Jimin- park jimin (he just thought his real name fit him well) His nick name is Chim Chim..Jimin likes this nickname bc it was givin to him by one of his friends called tony.
V- kim taehyung (taehyung chose V bc it stands for Victory) his nick name used to call his name to it easier to call out his name is Taetae and his “fun nickname” is Gucci boy..
Jungkook- Jeon jungkook( similar to jimin jungkook just thought his real name fit him the best) His nickname is Kookie for short of his real name jungkook..Another nickname is JK for short(the other members use that nickname especially hobi) and his other nickname is golden maknae, and that nickname was given by the members. Maknae means youngest in korean so it means golden youngest and they call him this bc the members joke around about he’s always good at everything.
In korea there last names go first instead after there first name..So for example namjoon is RMs first name and Kim is his last name.
MITCHI’s EUPHORIA uhm, there are some false infos here.
SUGA got his nickname from shooting guard which was his position in basketball. Also Agust D isn’t a nickname, it is his other artist alias.
Also V chose V out of two options the company gave him. He says this in one of the millions of videos there is (don’t remember if it was some Festa video). And I have never heard someone call him Gucci boy, like wth..
RM was Rap Monster at first and now it is the real me.
Tony is not Jimin’S friend, they don’t have contact afaik and he was being problematic too (trying to make money out of army events).

Guys lol, in different storylines jungkook fell from a building and died and in the other he got hit by a car and got hurt, I really do think that the driver was seokjin.
Guys, remeber the whole storyline was not from just one album it started since the HYYH era( which is 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life albums) back in 2015 so this storyline has been going on since 2015 thats why there's different Album Notes. These notes that she's reading is the newest notes that came from the Map of the Soul: 7 album. The previous albums were 'The most beautiful moment in life', 'Young Forever', 'Wings', 'You never walk alone', 'Love youself: Her', 'Love Youself: Tear', 'Love yourself: Answer', 'Map of the soul: Persona'.
Allen & Alex! Dont sweat it. Ive been an ARMY since their AMA 2017 performance. I watch every MV, every theories, every storyline. I even read their webtoon. Its complicated, i know. What im trying to say is that, you guys dont have to make BTS as a homework that needs to be done. Just enjoy the ride. Just enjoy their MVs, their RUN episodes, Bon Voyages, fanmade crackhead videos. Its fun! These guys are hectic and hella funny.

the storyline isn't JUST from the love yourself albums. it's part of the map of the soul albums as well, which is why she was referencing the book, albums, and the songs. remember this is an ON GOING storyline. it's not finished yet, and we're still getting clues. the boys don't interact with the same girl btw. they all have different girls at different times. also, the reason xceleste uses their real names is because ARMY is just use to calling them by their real names instead of their stage names. it's very rare to see an ARMY call them by their stage name nowadays for example you won't see an ARMY say "RM is so good at rapping!" or "SUGA is amazing!". you mostly see ppl saying "namjoon is good at rapping" or "yoongi is amazing". so yea, it's not bad to call them by their stage names tho, i'm just clearing up the whole "why do they say their real names and not their stage names" question :)
The girls in the highlight reels are like the anima of bts, meaning the feminine attributes to their persona. The anima (female side of a man) and animus (male side of a woman) are all a part of the last stages of individualism I believe, which is part of the whole map of the soul psychology. Don't worry I'm just as confused as ya'll are lol
guys pls remember that’s there’s not one girl, there’s DIFFERENT girls for each member in the highlight reel. Jin has his own and wanted to pursue something romantic with her, but she got hit by the truck and died. So Jin is sad bcs he really liked her and went back in time giving her back her diary, the girl lives

- Jin = Seokjin - easy, it's just the short form of his full first name
- Suga = Yoongi - he loves playing basketball, the position he plays on a team is SHooting GUard - also, for him, you'll see his alter-ego name is Agust D - backwards, those letters spell DT Suga - DT = Daegu Town, which is his hometown and the name of his old rap crew
- J-Hope = Hoseok - J for Jung (his last name) and Ho from Hoseok - added the 'pe' to full form out the name and represent his life approach and goal - you'll also hear the boys call him "Hoba" or "Hobi", that is the Korean way of affectionate familiarity - like in the west, a person named "Jim" could be affectionately referred to as "Jimmy" - so "Hope" turns into "Hoba" or "Hobi"
- RM = Namjoon or Joon/Joonie for those really familiar with him
- Jimin = Jimin/Jiminie (I'm not listing all the cutesy nicknames, just simply what they are normally called)
- V = Taehyung/Tae

I know it's a lot, and if people were logical and rational, they'd realize that we couldn't possibly expect you guys to know all this crap from the start. Just take it as you go, the info will trickle in and stick little by little, and in a few months, you'll stop in the middle of going about life and go "wtf... I actually KNOW all this shit now".
That's why we told you guys you needed to know who they are, full name included bc that's how they are represented in the story. And all those things you don't know in the video is bc they are not in music videos, you would need to read the webtoon, the translated notes, and watch some of their japanese videos. It takes time, it's not an easy story especially if you are new that's why you have to take it slow and don't miss anything. This storyline has been thought for years.
It’s Map of the soul because it’s the new continuation from LOVE YOURSELF, LY ended with Ephiphany. Map of Soul series started just last year so you’re no that behind. More is coming with the album coming in October .

The BU universe connects the mvs (which you guys have watched), the japanese mvs (which are absolotely essential since they always have the biggest easter eggs there), concert trailers (yo guys watched only one), concert videos (they play videos between the music stages in the concert and it has major connections and clips; celeste uses alot of concert clips in her videos too), year-end-award shows have a long bts performance and MMA and MAMA stages tend to have the most hints) (names of future sogs, future themes, alternate dimension theory, time- glitch theory, wizard of oz theory, etc have majorly come from here.
There are also the NOTES (its a booklet with diary-like entries in each comback album and if the album had four version (e.g LY Tear had T, E, A, R versions) then there will also be 4 notes with similar events but entries from different views). These NOTES have started from the LY era so LY Her, LY Tear, LY Answer, Map of the Soul: Persona and Map Of The Soul: 7. Some notes were also released on their twitter in between the comebacks.
Bighot also released the WINGS concept book and NOTES book (seprarate entries form the album entries) which had more puzzle pieces about the BU universe.
There's a SAVE ME webtoon which has the clearest timeline and explainations. It was a god send and istg we needed a clear timeline so badly by that time. It REALLLYYYY helped clear alot of theories away and gave a more streamlined explanation to what was happening.
Youve already watched the highlight reels and wings short videos which is great.
There's a drama and a game based on the BU universe thats going to be realeased soon. Hopefully that'll help us too.
P.s The person who put BTS together, Bang PD, also put together TXT ( a younger boy group in the same BIghit Label). Mr Bang is the main creative head behind this hyyh story (he's also the founder and president of Big Hit). In his interviews and appearances, he's mentioned how he loved the Marvel universe and how characters had their own story lines but connected together in an overarcing universe too. And thats what he is planning for them too. And so, some easter eggs (like the blue-green eyed cat) are common to both universes. (and thats how we found out who the blue-green eyes belonged to). Once your'e done with all the bts stuff, I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out TXT too. Theyre really good and are present in a different dimension of this BU universe.

The storyline isn't just from the Love Yourself album. It spans over YEARS. The Love Yourself album is just when the little "notes" started being included in the physical album. Also, the clips you guys thought you missed or didn't watch, such as when they are all meeting for the first time when they arrive late to school and then in the storage room when they discover the wardrobe with the chains, those come from videos that were played during their concerts back in 2014. Not a lot of people know about them. Bighit has dropped little hints like that over the years and its not until we get further in that we then realize what those hints from the past meant. More clips are from the japanese version of Blood Sweat and Tears that you guys haven't watched yet. Also the clip of Namjoon (RM) running through the container yard on fire is from the trailer of the game they are going to release that is based off the BU. They are also going to release a whole drama based off the storyline that will probably come out next year. We are so excited for when those come out! For now though, even though you've heard xCeleste's summaries, I think it'd be cool to watch you guys actually read the webtoon yourselves :)

Guys...the notes are from different albums. They're not the same when she said "the notes." It's just more notes in addition to the continuing storyline. Just think of it as additional puzzle pieces for the overall ongoing fictional storyline. These additional notes were just added/given as part of their new album: Map of the Soul at that time this video was made. Think of these notes as additional puzzle pieces...like the MVs, trailers, teasers etc which are also puzzle pieces to the overall fictional storyline. Keep in mind these puzzle pieces have been given to us for years.....
The reason you might have also missed lots of information is bc lots of the other information and storyline is on the bts save me Webtoons and the notes..Also there’s lots of information in the blood sweat in tears Japanese version of the music video.....

I think that it all goes back to Jin's dad and that he has time travelled before. Seeing how the boys found clues of Jin's father and friends in the abandoned classroom made me feel like history was repeating itself. There are two possible outcomes to my theory.
1. I think that when Jin's father travelled back in time to save his friends he failed. He failed to save his friends that is why he is cold and distant towards Jin and wanted Jin to cut off ties with the others. He probably felt that if he becomes too attached to Jin or Jin becomes too attached to the guys he will fail to protect them like he died. I think he fears history repeating itself with his son
2. My second theory is that jin's father saved his friends but lost his memory. (An effect from time traveling? 🤔 ) Either ways this whole time traveling is hurting Jin that is why at some point Jin didn't remember time traveling
Lastly, Taehyung's dreams will never cease to amaze me. He literally dreams of the dimensions Jin travels through. I don't think it has to a defined as the past or future because it's all the same timeline but different scenarios . Much love from Ghana 🇬🇭 😘

Their real names are used because:
1. their character's names use their real names, in this universe, they aren't a band, they're regular people so they don't have stage names.
2. Fans (and the members) use their real names a lot anyway, a lot of time its new fans using their stage names or we use it to avoid confusion for new fans. You'll hear the members using Yoongi, Taehyung, Hoseok/Hobi (JHope's nickname), Namjoon, ect.
The reason we never used their real names or told you guys them is because you're only new, we don't like overwhelming new fans and we don't expect them to learn 10 (their stage and real) names altogether. We help new fans learn stage names first because thats what they use in their work, their real names are mainly used in less promotional things like their reality shows, their livestreams; things which older fans/ those more indepth watch. We didn't know you would get into the storyline this soon, especially since you guys are still practicing knowing them off by heart, generally, it's expected you know their real names first. It isn't that hard learning their real names though, especially when some stage names hint at them (especially Jin, J-hope):
1. Jin = Last name: Kim, First name: Seokjin | Jin is short from Seokjin
2. J-Hope = Last name: Jung, First name: Hoseok | The J in J-Hope stands for Jung
3. Suga = Last name: Min, First name: Yoongi | Suga comes from the position he played in basketball: Shooting Guard - the sounds "Shoogua"
4. RM = Last name: Kim, First name: Namjoon | RM stands for Real Me
5. V = Last name: Kim, First name: Taehyung | V stands for Victory
6. Jimin = Last name: Park, First name: Jimin
7. Jungkook = Last name: Jeon, First name: Jungkook
In Korea, the last name is said first. BTS has a fanchant that recites their real names, from oldest to youngest (after BTS's leader Namjoon), ill put their birth years in brackets:
Kim Namjoon(leader, 1994), Kim Seokjin(1992), Min Yoongi(1993), Jung Hoseok(1994), Park Jimin(1995), Kim Taehyung(1995), Jeon Jungkook(1997), BTS!
You'll hear this chant from the crowd in concerts or live performances as a song begins to play. Learning it might help you learn their names quicker since you generally know their ages and that RM is the leader (jungkook is the youngest, Jin the oldest).

The storyline is the continues from each album since their debut so basically the storyline depends on their career if they fail the storyline stop, some group disband before even reach 5year, now if you think about it these storyline is so well planned because you need to be successful to keep the storyline keep going
35:35 Jimin had this photo and burned it, while he was on the bathroom (drowing). In an another video, Jin vanished from this picture. There is also an another MV ( BTS (방탄소년단) 화양연화 on stage : prologue) where Jin took a photo with Suga and later her noticed that Suga vanished from the photo and it looked like Jin was alone in the picture. I guess that's happening because Jin is going back to time so its only logical that some moments that happened, they will change from butterfly effect. That would also explain why Jin would forget or alter some memories, that the other members remember, because chaning the past means that you are creating a different timeline.
You missunderstood something. It were 6 DIFFFERENT girls. Not only one. Just the guitar girl by accident met Jungkook and Yoongi. But also Jungkook met two girls. On in the hospital and the other one was the giutar girl.

I feel you guys i'm so attached to the storyline but its definitely not the end cuz with every new album we gather more and more clues for the storline and the next album or comeback is possibly going to be related to the storyline cuz the smeraldo shop popped up and i had said this before each album series has its own stand alone story to it as well so i highly recommend going thru the whole of Love yourself series (song wise) in order and same for the map of the soul series cuz its really interesting and BTS HAVE A LOT OF CONTENT so we ain't running out of it anytime soon!

The part with V and Jin about the dog, makes me think Jin's father messed up the time.
V says to Jin: my 'dad' is gonna make a lot of money and get a dog.
But then in the future, V's father is not wealthy and has become a drunk.
Maybe Jin's father went back in time and took an idea or something from V's dad that made him wealthy? And that's where everything starts to get messed up.

Also in Highlight Reel the girls with the boys were different girls. It wasn't just one girl. Now those girls are, in theory, presumed to be G-Friend (as they have a storyline going on as well) and Seokjin's father is, also in theory, presumed to be one of the members of TXT.
BUT THIS IS ANOTHER PART OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE STORYLINES.

the story line isnt actully from just one album. hints can be traced far back from their albums back in 2014 starting probably with school love affair and almost all the albums after. like the hyyh trilogy/era, wings era, love yourself era and now map of the soul.

so basically part one of this explanation was uploaded after map of the soul: persona album came out (april 2019) so xceleste already summarized notes from that album. she put there everything that was released till april 2019. part 2 is just a continuation of the notes that came out with map of the soul: 7 album this year (february 2020). this book, notes 1 doesnt have notes from map of the soul series because it was released earlier. tbh i'm guessing there will be notes 2 or sth after map of the soul era ends. but it's big hit, at this point everything is possible, i hate them lol also, notes from the album are totally random. like, once you have year 9, then you jump to year 19, then 22 etc. different dates, different months etc
