Dear Rachael, I've been getting more and more sick throughout the years and I guess I reached the point where I know that if I don't start the carnivore diet I may as well die from chronic pain. I keep myself alive for my son, but life's unbearable at this point so I'm so grateful I've found your channel because I've been reading scientific papers for 6 years now, watching all the doctors and "gurus" of the carnivore community but I've never seen anyone being so vulnerable and telling their audience about their hardships and that going carnivore is extremely difficult and might be a real nightmare for as long as a few months. You encouraged me to give it a go and change things even though I'm very weak, in pain, have very little money and am in premenoupause period which is getting at me really hard. Sending my love from Poland and wish you all the best, thank you again!

Thank you so much for sharing what you choose to share in this video we really appreciate it. It was really hard to listen to you talking about how hard this time was and I can't imagine how excruciating it was for you go through this. I have not been through anything as severe as you but I can relate to you in that there were a few years where I thought I was dying or could die at any moment and I could relate to you when you said you felt so unsafe in your own body because it's so incredibly scary and you feel so vulnerable. It is absolutely the best news to hear that you have come off steroids and I'm so incredibly excited for you and I'm also so proud of you you truly are such an incredible strong warrior I am so proud of you my dear friend

I could relate to every word you just spoke. God being with me in my greatest suffering and being grateful I am no longer where I was even though I still have so far to go still. Thanks beautiful friend for sharing the tough stuff. I can't even imagine going back and trying to explain the hard moments. Praying for you and sending you such a big hug

I have had prior experience with chronic Lyme (plus Babesia, Bartonella, & Bruscella), went through treatments for 2+years, have had many other (much less severe that yours) autoimmune issues over the years. Carnivore diet resolved almost all of the lingering symptoms last year. Then I found a lump and was diagnosed with breast cancer. The treatment (chemo & immunotherapy) has now caused secondary adrenal insufficiency & I have been told I am steroid dependent for life now. When I was hospitalized with my major adrenal crisis, I went off of carnivore just to get through the remainder of cancer treatments (for ease of those taking care of me) and also to avoid developing meat aversions- as had started to happen because chemo makes everything taste horrible. So here I am, done with chemo, going through the surgery/radiation phase of cancer treatment, and still on high dose steroids. My endocrinologist said that once we are done with cancer - we can see about trying to wean, but not to get my hopes up. I’d love to hear more about your story of getting off of steroids, or even chat privately if you’re not comfortable making a public video. I have started my TH-cam channel to document my journey with cancer & carnivore, but it’s going to now follow the adrenal insufficiency journey.

Has the acupuncture been big help to your cervical neck issues.
I'm in Australia and believe what I'm suffering is the same as you for the past 12mths.....and no one is helping and struggling to walk trying care for my two kiddies.
No one knows what's wrong but the pain my neck and jaw and severe Dizziness, vertigo, unable to walk stand as fear fall over.
I'm not on anything and waiting MRI on neck but I do suffer TMJ.....i have been left like this....i do have lupus fibromyalgia hashimotos autoimmune disorders and alot more.
I have been housebound of past 12mths and the dizzy and feeling the floor is water is terrible.
Anything I do which involves moments of my upper neck is terrible and brain fog terrible.
I'm glad your doing ok sweetheart and my heart goes out to you Xxx
    Much Love
Ps. I know how scared that feeling is because everyday I count it as possibly my last but with being single mum of two kids it's a hard thought leaving my gorgeous boys.

I'm so proud of you. In 2000 I fell in the snow and severely injured my neck! I am 22 years surgery free. I suffered many conditions you had. I used the herb Yucca Root for pain & inflammation in my neck. First 4 years slept sitting up! Then I found hydrotherapy, healing essential oils! I understand your suffering! I'm there! I just now started getting nausea. Sometimes the pain in the winter made me feel like I didn't want to be in my body!😳
God's herb Yucca Root really helped with my neck pain. Astragalus Root helps with immune system. Love U!🙏🤗🥰

Oh bless you Sister. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Thank God for our faith and that earth life is temporary.
I’m in my own trauma of illness and all I have is God and inspiring people like you testifying of Gods help and mercy.
Most days i just want Jesus to come and get us.
I rejoice with you in being off steroids, what a positive progress.
Im also doing a version of lion diet tho i keep thinking i can do some dairy. Butter seems fine but anything else makes me feel worse.
    Can you have butter yet?
I hope your beef is extra delicious today and may it strengthen all your cells in Jesus name.

Awe, this is so sweet. Neat that your family was also praying for you. I grew in a faith based home . And a christian private school. What religion or church are you all affiliated with? I also had my adrenals looked at. Didn't know steroids could cause issues like that.

Out of interest, do you think that chronic Lyme may lead to the body down regulating cortisol production in an attempt to boost immune function?
It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot, as my cortisol is very low, yet anything that increases cortisol levels or reduces immune function in any way makes me feel much worse. I sometimes wonder whether the low cortisol is my body trying its best to increase immune function…

Right now, just eating the carnivore / lion diet (zero carb). That has helped significantly. I’m taking a break from treatment while I have treatments done on my neck. Before I was doing a combo of herbs and antibiotics every few weeks.

So interesting to follow your story. Mine has been similar. Diagnosed with Lyme a couple years back having been on and off herbs. Neck instability has been terrible for the last year. had prp at a clinic in pleasant grove done in September with a little improvement. I’m sorry you too are suffering so badly. 💙

@@samiiir7090 that’s a great question!! For me, im not sure. Doctor thinks it was years of forward head posture. As for Rachel, im not sure. But am curious.

Just stay strong and remember God. If you have time please read quran in English.
Quran 2:286 God does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. To its credit is what it earns, and against it is what it commits. “Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not burden us as You have burdened those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear; and pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Lord and Master, so help us against the disbelieving people.”
