I am 60 years old. I probably should not like Atmosphere as much as I do. I am not much into hip hop, but I have not heard a song by these guys that I have not liked since I stumbled upon them TH-cam surfing a couple months ago.. Reminds me a more hip hop version of Citizen Cope. I think this is my favorite Atmosphere song that I have heard so far.

i used to be pretty depressed from 2012- a couple months ago, but i just started realizing stuff about life. Not everyone is gonna like you, and it doesn't matter what they say because you probably won't know they in the future, so why worry about them now? i look at it as if someone has something not kind to say behind your back, you must being doing something that they wish they could do or else they wouldn't be talking trash. I take all the negative and positiv things said about and to me in stride, letting it boost my confidence and be a better person. I've been more social and accepting of myself, loving myself. I've been a lot happier daily. Life is too short to worry about what people say about you, because at the end of the day you're the only person their for yourself pretty much, except family i guess. Don't let the small stuff get to you, life is to short for that. Enjoy every day you have and try to make the best out of every situation. Atleast that's what I figured out and what's being working for me.

I started listening to Atmosphere last year or so and when I started listening I fell in love immediately. Slug doesn't rap about how much his life sucks per se, rather he raps about the lessons he learnt from shit situations. There is no rapper out there that makes me feel good about myself and my life like Slug. Guys a genius and his rhymes speak truth. The greatest shame of all is that he isn't more famous.

Helped me in my highschool alot I had a very bad one with surgery's and being made fun of by other kids the middle verse is really what kept me going. All I did was wanna kill myself and I had no friends they already graduated and would hang out with other people besides me. This is the only song that kept me sane in highschool. Part of me loves that Atmosphere isn't mainstream, like it takes a special kind of person to appreciate them. I have been to many concerts in my life and the energy at Slugs shows are like no other, everyone is singing together, sharing good vibes and no drama, we're all just there to appreciate the music and have a good time.
