Turn CDrom into CD Amplifier

Today I will convert a PC CD-rom into CD-player. It's very simple, just add a button and a class D amplifier circuit. After that, you can enjoy your favorite music from the CD.

I'm just left wondering why you are soldering separate wires on the back of the CD-ROM drive for power and audio when headers are already there via the molex connection and audio pin header. Just save yourself the trouble and rig up the right cables.
