Plastic pry tools are your friend for this sort of thing - avoids scratching/cracking things with a small screwdriver bit

Thanks for that info, as I've found a boxed (new / old stock) Leica T with only factory test actuations on it. I just wish it was a bit more clear to as how you pfised the cover off ..

Interesting. I was always under the impression that the internal storage in this camera was soldered onto the mainboard which isn't ideal because what if it fails? But Leica was smart and made it an Micro SD card that could be replaced...obviously by their technicians charging you an absurd amount of money 🤣

If it can shoot raw files or videos and you use it like a lot there are even micro memory cards with terabytes of storage and I think they could be cheap too somehow

Thanks for the tip. I have a Leica T and it felt a bit slow when using the internal memory.
But I did the same upgrade and it works like a dream. Was just as easy on my Leica T.
The really small philipshead-screws are in the dimension P000.
Be aware that when using an sd-card in the “main”-slot the internal memory is not used.
Some more info, I tried a 256 GB card in the “main”-slot, it formatted but were not accessible, the same would also probably happen in the internal slot. But who needs 256 GB when 128 (3,9k) is plenty and even 64 is probably more than you’ll ever need.
Be also aware that Leica T don’t like UHS-II cards.
But this is not a big operation and nothing to be scared about if you are careful 👍

Can you use a M Mount lens on this camera?

Yes, there is an official Leica M-L (or M-T) adaptor which can potentially recognise the lens. There is also a Light Lens Lab adaptor with a helicoid to focus M lenses more closely, and third party fixed adaptors from Novoflex, Kipon and others. Check the forums for tips on the best settings for magnification etc.

Lumix G7 is apparently still available super cheap, or a used GH4. Panasonic tend to have higher end video features in earlier and cheaper cameras than the others.
