I know you know this one but for those who don't to fix the issue of items popping up on the roof, build the item away from the pre-fab, blueprint it, store it then use the blue print to place it and it will work without appearing on the roof like a brahmin in Fallout 4. Also works for existing structures out int the wild like empty houses.
I wish they would allow us to make stuff follow the terrain like a button to make like a machine tilt or make a tipping house or factory anything you can think of make it tilt
I've had this very similar "blemish" in fallout 4 before, and you discovered my exact fix for it! I like to use a building mod in fallout 4 that lets you scrap the debris on the floor of buildings. but if you do that, in some places stuff will sink so far into the floor, or ground, its not even visible! worse yet, without the carpet it counts as hovering, so you can't place stuff where its supposed to be. somehow the rug counts as a solid object! also with those floating platforms, you might be able to squeeze an elevated sleeping bag up there. From a roleplay perspective, sleeping on the ground would seep warmth out of your dweller while they sleep via conductance. but if you're up off the ground and you're out of the wind, you lose heat much more slowly. the key here is what robs you of heat fastest. and without wind, the answer is the ground. with wind, the answer is the air, and you'd have to build a shelter that breaks up or blocks the wind. There are ways around this, for example making a debris hut, which are long and cyndrilical... I guess you could call them burrows, that you can make in a survival situation using leaves and different sizes of sticks for insulation. The sticks hold up the leaves, which help keep you warm. The tight space helps keep the heat you generate close to your body. With this setup, a little heat goes a long way. And if you have a fire, you can heat rocks and put them in the shelter. anyway, forgive my wilderness survival obsession. but in short, if you can pull it off a sleeping bag up off the ground on a wood platform can help keep your dweller warm at night.
It sucks I wanted to Park the truck under it and it won’t let me!! Usually noodle I wait for you to post before I buy a prefab but it looks so good. He didn’t have that chunky concrete crap underneath so it looked like it would be really easy to make it an immersive piece I found also when I kept trying to put certain items on the walls inside they kept either getting lost on the inside of the actual building or in duck floating above it the other part that is really frustrating I found is if you look at the build itself overall if they released the pavilion piecesthis is something we could make ourselves and to be honest do a better job of it. Where did you set up camp? Try different terrain. I've no issues with this one. Walls - the side walls are great for decorations, the wall opposite the door is iffy.
There is a believe a prefab or it’s a misc structure but it’s like a small wooden bridge/dock looking drawbridgeish thing that would match with this prefab so well and if you could put it between the two would be phenomenal!! Great vid keep up the good work!
The fact you can place multiple, and it doesn't take up much space, leaving lots of decorating options, I'd say it's 'worth it'. I'm certainly sold on it.
On the guardian boss you don't need to stand on top of your power armour after the update to the platfom...simply jump on the platform exit your power armour go flip the switch then go back to the platform and get back into you power armour and your good to go .

Love the builds and info NP.... but I'm still waiting for a camp building budget boost on 76 before I start building again. I can't ( or won't build small camps ) ....and my main camp I've rebuilt 6 times over the last 6 years, and I always run out of budget and can never finish my interiors ! ( .....and that's with only one turret and a dozen lights or so ) Fallout 4 I went crazy with huge builds.... ( ....of course on 4 we had group weapon drop and pickup glitch for an endless building budget ) Abernathy Farms: Twin 18 floor concrete & glass towers with top 3 floors used as penthouse apartments. ( with a legendary weapons vault in the basement ) Starlight Drive-in: Power Armor Assembly buildings 7 flloors each ( 500+ P.A Suits ) ( with a skybridge that connects the two ) (+ another Legendary weapons vault) In game lighthouse location: P.A. Suit and legenday weapons museum that houses that full lighthouse + rooftop bar and skywalk. Spectacle Island: A water farm factory and vault that houses 1 million bottles of water on Spectacle Island with 200+ water purifiers that loop the island and main house and glass lighthouse Ok, sorry, I got on a bit of a roll there... That's about only 10% of my builds, but it's been years since FO 4, and like I said, it would be nice building on 76, but not until we get a budget boost.... ? Thank you again NP for all of the videos with interesting builds and information. ✌️😎
We actually have enough kits to make something like this. The roof is standard corrugated roof, wooden walls (we have various damaged ones), and the defenses. You can totally recreate this with kits. The only trouble is, it won't sink into terrain as well as this appears to sink into its ow base. We have to pick and choose, we never really get 100% what we want.
Look up the place anywhere wall glitch. By attaching stair posts into the blueprint where the wall would be you may be able to merge glitch some floor pieces into it. ❤
@Gamer_Aviator auto correct made that hard to understand. So I corrected it for you. I'd give my comment another read and give it a go. I'd love to hear if it's possible.
Bought the outpost and built it yesterday. Really love the base. Outpost looks great in the mountain area I needed it for. I was so pleased I didn't care about its other flaws.
They learned something in 2024. It was evident when they darkened interiors and the night sky. It would be cool if they just give us the items from the prefab to build our own with.
7:20 make a blueprint for a free-place catwalk! I made a whole second floor in the Candle Haus doing that method along with a free-place stair blueprint(:
Have you tried using farmable dirt plots near these structures to level ground a bit? I haven't decided if I want this yet, but will probably get the prefab.
I have. They don't come close enough to the structure, and they don't snap together because of how ribbon-like the perimeter of the prefab is. At least naturally you can't do it. There may be a way to glitch merge it.
Great video again (as usual) but I can’t find flat enough ground with same color grass to human centipede them. Where were you on the map? I have not had success in getting them to sink down enough into the ground
For you the game got darker, too? I have bought a new monitor for my pc, and i adjust it for darker rooms. So i don't have to use those yellow-ish nightmodes etc. So i use a brightness of 20, contrast of 75-80. And i thought, my screen is wrong adjusted. Cause i have a darker shade in other games, too, but i couldn't figure out why. But it can be, that the actual games or graphic drivers made anything darker.
It definitely got darker. I know that they actually officially made nights darker for Halloween, but all weather seems darker to me. I can tell because of how much editing I have to do on my recordings. I didn't used to, even on morning and evening filming, but now I up the brightness on everything before publication.
@@Gamer_Aviator The problem with making movies brighter is the grey-ish effect you usually get. I have similar problems with Skyrim and darker dungeons. When i recorded that, the viewers said, they only have a black screen. I checked that on my buddy's screens, and yes, others have so bad adjustments. So i used another mod, that creates a magic light 5m arround me, that is 50% of a torch, and the enemies can't notice. But GTA 5, ETS2, Farming Simulator, all got darker. so i thought, my new screen is the problem. Or maybe the drivers. Interesting.
I don’t know why they downgraded base building in 76. In Fallout 4 you didn’t have to worry about about things floating in the air like you do in 76. Especially since the landscape of West Virginia is so unlevel, it’s important they let us actually put things IN the ground.
Another great video I've managed to merge mine into rocks opposite ws station for my mule character wondering if you could have this either side if a pond using wooden catwalks porch to go between them
It’s super friendly with rocks. I love it. I will try to make a bridge out of them. It will require some glitch merging, as the base itself can’t have anything like catwalks snap to it.
I think 700 atoms is a bit strong. I feel its too small for the price. Its nice that it fits the theme and can be well made, especially yours, i just think that if the tavern, hunters lodge, the huge mansion etc are 700, the smaller ones should be maybe 500. Side note, i logged in with 1 hour to spare before the atom shop reset and saw the iron mountain anvil as the 24 hour item for 350 atoms. Ive never clicked buy so fast.
It's not worth it for my building type play someone who wants to make a nice little rustic out in the woods look but it takes away too much camp space to put down

Yes, sometimes it comes good after 60 seconds other times you have kill the game - like when it suddenly decides to use the pet emote wheel but you can't actually select anything - in those cases I've had to exit the game. The pet wasn't even anywhere near me when this has occurred.

I see negativity on this channel, it wasn’t around when the game launched and didn’t REALLY see 76’s proper bugs, it’s done well but too late for the negativity, we pushed through it to keep the game alive!
Toxic positivity is ruining the world. We pay for the game with both time and money, and it is completely reasonable to expect quality and not a never ending list of bugs and garbage. It’s not okay to accept that people are doing the best they can. In my experience the people who are willing to accept mediocrity are themselves underperforming and mediocre. We love the game. We want the best from it, and holding B to a higher standard isn’t negative. It’s positive and encouraging and hopeful.

That was my original thought actually, cover the whole bundle, with a quick mote on the prefab and in-depth detail of the other items. I might do that.
It depends on what you do with it. As you can see I was able to make a workroom and a bedroom. But yes, a house this is not. That's why my original thought was to have this out as a secondary feature, not the main house.
@@stinkmunky1 Ok, so not your style, but calling it garbage is a bit much. When I grade items I take into account not just my personal taste, but how well the item is designed, made, and functioning. I've reviewed items that are not at all in my style, while remaining objective on these criteria. This works better than most of the prefabs we've had so far. Garbage is when they give us buildings that work with terrain, that are too big to decorate, that have walls that glitch. This ... is just not your style. And perhaps, once again, inaccurately titled.
@@Gamer_Aviator no, calling it garbage is not a bit much as that is my opinion. And if you do not like something you should voice that opinion not go easy to be nice. Your response tells me that when you review something you don't like you are actually disingenuous, otherwise you would say when something is bad. Not that this one is bad to you, just me.

It’s not okay to accept that people are doing the best they can. In my experience the people who are willing to accept mediocrity are themselves underperforming and mediocre. We love the game. We want the best from it, and holding B to a higher standard isn’t negative. It’s positive and encouraging and hopeful.
so i guess no links allowed. my apologies was just trying to get some traction and show off a build. anyhow. i like the towtruck. thanks anyhow
No links on TH-cam. To connect with is about your build, head over to our discord server (link in description) and type /show_camp if you want to be a camp guest on the show, or share pics in CAMPS
Did you just blow us a kiss ? don’t worry we won’t tell your husband 😉
That I did. Shhhhh....
I’d like to noodle noodle’s noodle.
NOODLE.....How about a video on all 3 items???
That was my original thought actually, cover the whole bundle, with a quick mote on the prefab and in-depth detail of the other items. I might do that.
But the room is too small.
It depends on what you do with it. As you can see I was able to make a workroom and a bedroom. But yes, a house this is not. That's why my original thought was to have this out as a secondary feature, not the main house.
getting homestar runner vibes
absolute garbage imo.
Really? How so?
@Gamer_Aviator tbh. This abandoned outpost just looks like a crappy car port or or an unfinished shed.
@@Gamer_Aviator Also in a review video where you ask for the viewers opinion in the comments you shouldn't be so contradictory by saying the persons opinion is a bit much. Kind of counter intuitive.
