I'm not really a fan of playing 2 treacherous, 1 treacherous and 1 econ seems more versatile (at least to me)... like... you can normal summon a sphere kuriboh then tribute it and steal a monster lol
I really hate this crap. Im using AG Dragon or AGUP build and I'm having a hard time in creating an anti on this deck. Unless you OTK this on the 2nd round. Jeeezzz

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting Konami to do this well, they just gave us two Free-To-Play decks when this new box was released. Yep, Lavals and Nepthys, this is just what the game needed, more diversity.

Honestly, the game is doing very well lately; look at this deck, it seems very competitive and the only expensive cards are those 3 sphere kuribohs and 1 nepthys card. The kuribohs are sooo 2016, some people actually got them all with Dream Tickets and you can get the Nepthys card with gems. Totally free-to-play, if you don't have them and your account is new you can also play winged kuriboh which is pretty awesome in the current meta thanks to Koa'ki Meiru and Ancient Gears. Lavals are F2P and competitive too, I must admit Konami is doing very well.
Damn I never expected to say this, but Konami is doing awesome lately. The laval deck is VERY competitive and you can get it with gems alone, you don't even need dream tickets.

what dkayed said about Last Gamble is perfect. nowadays it seems like the decks that are abusing the skill the most are the ones where the life cost in the end barely matters. with the Last Gamble skill we have right now, rolling a 1 (worst case scenario) will get you a +1 in card advantage (basically a pot of greed for burn or buster blader decks that can stall and avoid losing those 100 life points until they finish the duel). life points mean nothing if you can manage to achieve such a big card advantage on your opponent i think limiting the turns you have left to finish the duel off is a much more fair cost to pay for a drawing effect of that magnitude
Literally went in debt building the perfect AG deck.. and now I made a deck similar to this and out of 40 duels I only lost 3 times (due to terrible hands and against Koa'ki meiru) this deck is super cheap and fun.
I've been playing around with this since the day the box dropped and in my opinion chronicler is better than defender in this case. If your ritual spell gets negated you can just summon chronicler and get it back, as well as the situation where you open up normal phoenix, disciple, and 2 non yubel cards you can search for chronicler off of the disciple phoenix destroy and have another destroy next turn in case your disciple is destroyed and you top deck yubel.
Terror incarnate is a nightmare to deal with. The dude that was using this deck against me doesn’t even have to summons any other card at all. Terror incarnate alone decimated my entire elemental hero deck until down to spells which is pretty much useless. 🙁
Might have to try this deck out!! All I need is the yubels and the cerulean. I’m a f2p player and this deck is a spicae meataballa! Yubel comes back in March so I’ll just have to wait until then
To fix Last Gamble just make it so the skill is worded as such; Can only be used from turn 5 onward. Discard two cards, roll a six sided die, then draw cards until your hand size is the die roll. It mitigates the ability to plus as many cards while still retaining the ability to be a last gamble in a situation where you have no cards in hand (after the discard obviously) giving you a general plus in every way, as well as making the skill balanced in a given situation. Say you had four cards, activate the skill, go down to two and roll a three... you only draw one card. It wouldn't be half as reliable as it is now. Plus, it givens some sort of weird counterplay in the premise that; you have four cards in hand again, all things you can set in S/T zone.. you know with LG you're going to want to dump the hand and then activate with only two cards to maximize the value.... well, there's a chance that the two cards he/she has to set to get the best value may not be the best in the given situation which just allows a tad bit more counterplay for other decks after the LG goes off.

I fought against a deck like that last night with my regular Fireking Yubel, I can make this deck without problems but I will need some sphere kuribohs
Enemy controllers and other cards to protect your life points is fine. Personally, I use Winged Kuribohs and Flute of summoning kuribohs. You can simply just use the normal kuriboh.
My New Player Ancient Gear deck can destroy yubel with Reactor Dragon attack then destroy your Wild Tornado(They won't be summoning another Yubel) or enemy controller tribute/go for lethal. Please be serious, DNA's not even in TOP30 most used cards in KC, and is at 24th place in Spells/Traps chart. The card dies by CC, GC, Reactor, Unending...the deck dies with ECON, Offerings, Floodgate etcetc. You might have tons of outs to Buster Blader, if you are not able to build a deck able to fight a continuous trap you should think about the way you're building your deck FIRST. Can't believe you're asking for DNA's nerf while there are guys called KOA'KI MEIRU allowed to run Trunade and TTH.

Is there any way this can still be good without the Yubel skill? I'm tired of decks only being super-good by locking you into using certain characters.
You don't need the skill. It makes yubel itself more consistent though

BeRtaN use normal kuribohs! Ideally, you want no traps besides traphole. But its a good alternative🙌🏿

Dude are you crazy? Even if LG's nerf might be fair (but really, it does bother you that much?), DNA's one would be completely crazy. That's the core of a deck which doesn't work AT ALL without it. What's going on here, before that shitty Maximus B.B. was a tier3 and now it has to be destroyed because you "poggers" cannot afford to OTK ANY SINGLE FUCKING DECK? Please be serious, DNA's not even in TOP30 most used cards in KC, and is at 24th place in Spells/Traps chart. The card dies by CC, GC, Reactor, Unending...the deck dies with ECON, Offerings, Floodgate etcetc. You might have tons of outs to Buster Blader, if you are not able to build a deck able to fight a continuous trap you should think about the way you're building your deck FIRST. Can't believe you're asking for DNA's nerf while there are guys called KOA'KI MEIRU allowed to run Trunade and TTH.
