King kail yuga has over a 90% win rate when summoned. There are other cards just as strong as the three you mentioned but are harder to bring out. Like cosmic blazer dragon, and cosmic quasar dragon.
@@kingmahde1 dm is one of my first archetypes I've ever used. Fun stuff, just couldn't get it to work in high level play. I'll definitely try this build out tho.

Cool list for sure. Well done. My first thought was try duality. It can help you dodge imp and you run a lot of tag out option. Maybe add 2 duality. take out 1 imp. Keep one in for cross out. Adds one card to deck Again idk how many cards you run. But aluber gets you to branded fusion obviously. But it’s also can tag it out to either herald of arc or diviner of herald in hand through duality. And grang is obviously the easiest duality path for dragoon
Thanks doc! I got a separate list I was working on that runs Nadir and Duality with branded opening/aluber to get full use of the duality potentially. Cartesia/Nadir + Duality = Dragoon which is really nice I just haven't gotten around to testing it out in ranked yet. Love the duality tech idea, definitely gonna do a video on it soon.

Interesting list Habibi. I was thinking about of the shaddoll packge for a DM Dragoon deck, because is not easy go use Dragoon and Magia on same DM with a good consistency. Also, I want effeciency for the deck. Also was thinking abou Diallbestar engine with Chicken Game for help the draw power and empty the more fast, also getting good cards on board, but I don't if this is the right path to follow. But I'm bad right now. 10k gems and not get a simple copy of Dragoon, but ended with 4 from noth Avramax and Gryphon...
Thank you! The shadoll package is pretty useful and small so I love it. I do have a consistent way to get magia and dragoon out that's for a video next week. It'll show a 2 card combo for them. Diabellstar was nice while it lasted idk if it's good anymore. My last video ranked all the techs/engines and an interesting one is shining sarc if you're trying to play 45-50 cards. It's a 6 card package that can do a lot. It took me 5 k gems to get 1 goon. Konami knows what they're doing smh.
I like the deck list but is there anyway you can add magia. Haven’t tried this deck at all. I’m so used to playing heroes. I’m trying to branch out of that deck. Would love to see magia included.
Ayy Heros is one of my favorites! I got some hero videos on the channel and would like to do more soon! Magia can definitely work with Dragoon! I even have a crazy 2 card combo for summoning goon and magia, but I gotta just make the video. It's on my list of videos to make and I plan to do it next week.
@@AljoschaW1993 I can't fault you for wanting to play pure DM/Red eyes deck. I just wanted to increase the competitive advantage I can have with the deck and I think this one does that better than a "pure" build.
Wouldn’t the bystial play you used to run with toy box be better? I think using quem as the normal summon is the way to go, problem is consistency with toy box itself. Quem or cartesia plus souls is a good combo though, granguignol into luluwallith has won me so many games. I do a risky play synchroing quem and granguignol into crimson dragon then passing then you can summon cosmic blazar on your opponents turn lol. I’ve maxed out on cartesia as my secondary normal, the fusion effect is super strong. Souls toy box and cartesia as a 3 card combo is double dragoon, baronne, dis pater. I’ve done the same and dropped circle and e soul, don’t play rod either and cut down to 1 soul servant
How do you see the bystials helping because I've been thinking about it? Obviously they're dragons so that's a plus but I don't see them as being too helpful besides that. Quem is good but in our deck we can't get the most value out of her alone, it's gotta be mid combo. Again please tell me if you see something I dont because I really want them to work out better. Your cosmic blazar play is very risky, but the payoff is huge lol. Playing 2-3 Cartesia is something I've considered, I wanna play fusion deployment but I don't wanna be locked out of using verte, may still try it out. Dropping the DM cards hurts but it's for the best. I have some decks I'm playing with that have them in there but it brings the deck down.
Yeah its possible just not the best version. If you look at my video on all the different engines you can play I talk about the best ones. Theres so many options and I'll make a video of other versions without toys.

so i tried the diviner package and i dont know if i like it or not. firstly it feels like another prep that takes up your normal summon. tho sending herald makes it lvl 6 for baronne but you can still summon baronne with toy box package(summons dmg for lvl6 target) although i admit it is a bit harder because you need another tuner. secondly diviner's other copies are dead because they dont have other targets so they became dead after the first one. thirdly herald takes up a space in extra deck that can be used for another tool. but i cannot deny having lvl6 tuner is awesome so do you think there can be another normal summon for this deck that is better than a prep that takes your normal summon or this is as good as it gets. we can always change diviners for preps for the same consistency too but i wonder what are your thoughts on this.
I had the same thoughts initially about herald, it's just a prep with legs, but then I realized there are so many great routes you can take with it. You mentioned barrone and I have another build that ends on crystal wing, apollousa, dragoon, and winds all through diviner and toy box, so the potential is there. Also, the biggest thing is diviner is a 1 card dragoon which is nuts. I'll make a video discussing diviner next week.

Yes I have a Magia/Goon list cooked up already and a combo for both. Winda just ups the ceiling of the deck substantially and helps from a competitive standpoint.
Diviner acts as a 1 card combo to get to dragoon. I'm gonna make a video talking only about diviner but I believe it's our best normal summon right now. Summon - send herald- search ioc- search souls- summon souls- verte into ref if you play it. If not you can go magicalized fusion a different way. It has many other uses that I'll talk about too!
diviner send herald>herald searches illusion of chaos>diviner is lvl6. you can summon barrone with lvl 6 diviner with toy soldier/tank. you send toy soldier and toy tank with the magicians souls you search with illusion of chaos. so if you have diviner + toy box you have baronne with dragoon. if you dont get handtrapped by the opponent of course.

Eyooo habibi with the spice ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 I hit master 5 today and boy dm feels soo much better than anytime Having our boss monster feels so good ❤ I'm soo happy that throughout my journey to masters I didn't see a lot of people abusing dragoon Just a bunch of crazy 60 cards decks with 20 bricks using dragoon when possible but nothing from the meta which proves that anaconda dragoon is not worth it in other decks in 2025 I hope this stays like this cuz we don't want any rainy days here 🙂💔 I still think anaconda ref is better than branded I feel like you're playing into so much unnecessary threats like super poly Bystils and called by and honestly a lot more Having the ref means you don't need to worry about those threats especially when you have baron on the board I also highly encourage you to go over 40 cards with extra consistency cards and draw power to avoid seeing those bricks in hand I also noticed that there is no grind game anymore, people scoops so early to the point where there is no need for extra copies of other cards like dragoon for example The game is at a point where you go first and win or go second and lock your opponent from playing the game using cards like drool and maxxc Can't wait to see what you cook next time king and good luck with your ranked games 👑👑❤️
Ayy Congrats on reaching Master and I love the feeling of having dragoon! Im really glad that I havent seen Dragoon yet either from my opponents but there's still a long season ahead and plenty of ways people will abuse it. I hope no one goes overboard with it too, we dont want any rainy days here lol. As for branded, you cant play around everything but the same goes for ref. You can get ashed, impermed on verte etc. Usually I have a baronne negate to help too. Branded just has so many options and Im gonna try to play magicalized fusion too so I have more ways to get to the goon. I dont mind going over 40 cards it can help hide the garnets so I may push 48. Like I said in my last video the games won in turns 1 & 2 usually so I dont have too much grind game for better or worse lol. Me too bro! It's crazy that md DM is better than TCG DM now, it's always been the opposite, but with branded to 1 in both and tcg not having verte I think master duel has the dm advantage.
@@Vimm57 you can definitely make it and some have. You're gonna have to climb and claw and it'll be harder than doing it with tenpai and the like but it's very doable
Ok im gonna need you to explain what to do if you dont get the toy box and souls combo i rarely pull it and im easily interrupted ive been de ranking since ive started using this deck i think you need to explain different scenarios for people that dont play this arch type regularly it looks good in the 3 replays but my experience with this deck is trash im ready to just dump it cause i dont understand how to usw it and your not explaining enough different plays
Sorry you're having a bad experience with it, what rank are you in? It is hard this season to play through all the hand traps I totally agree. The last replay showed a route to go timaeus and dm to dragoon. I'm changing the deck around and I've gotten it to the point where I can a lot of the time fall back on dragoon after I get hand trapped a bunch. Don't give up just yet. I will be making a lot of videos this week about combos for the deck.
If it's not DM, what is it? 3 URs for the branded stuff (Lube, albion, branded fusion). Fair enough if you wanna play Dragoon turbo it'll get you some wins for sure.

YEAH SCRAPED THIS FOR BRANDED DRAGOON AND ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE...this is cool for dark magician lovers but your gonna go threw a sweat shop trying to hit diamond with this deck if your playing ranked theres better options
If the question is dm vs branded then yes, it's not even close. Branded has been a top tier deck for years ofc it'll be better. With that said people have hit master with this list but it is definitely challenging.

Just a bunch of crazy 60 cards decks with 20 bricks using dragoon when possible but nothing from the meta which proves that anaconda dragoon is not worth it in other decks in 2025

I still think anaconda ref is better than branded
I feel like you're playing into so much unnecessary threats like super poly Bystils and called by and honestly a lot more
Having the ref means you don't need to worry about those threats especially when you have baron on the board
I also highly encourage you to go over 40 cards with extra consistency cards and draw power to avoid seeing those bricks in hand
I also noticed that there is no grind game anymore, people scoops so early to the point where there is no need for extra copies of other cards like dragoon for example
The game is at a point where you go first and win or go second and lock your opponent from playing the game using cards like drool and maxxc

Im really glad that I havent seen Dragoon yet either from my opponents but there's still a long season ahead and plenty of ways people will abuse it. I hope no one goes overboard with it too, we dont want any rainy days here lol.
As for branded, you cant play around everything but the same goes for ref. You can get ashed, impermed on verte etc. Usually I have a baronne negate to help too. Branded just has so many options and Im gonna try to play magicalized fusion too so I have more ways to get to the goon.
I dont mind going over 40 cards it can help hide the garnets so I may push 48.
Like I said in my last video the games won in turns 1 & 2 usually so I dont have too much grind game for better or worse lol.

Me too bro! It's crazy that md DM is better than TCG DM now, it's always been the opposite, but with branded to 1 in both and tcg not having verte I think master duel has the dm advantage.
Dark Magician should get a dedicated card that facilitates verte's function just for DM.

@@Vimm57 you can definitely make it and some have. You're gonna have to climb and claw and it'll be harder than doing it with tenpai and the like but it's very doable

Yea im working on adding magicalized fusion to the deck to have that as an option albeit a 3 card combo.
Ok im gonna need you to explain what to do if you dont get the toy box and souls combo i rarely pull it and im easily interrupted ive been de ranking since ive started using this deck i think you need to explain different scenarios for people that dont play this arch type regularly it looks good in the 3 replays but my experience with this deck is trash im ready to just dump it cause i dont understand how to usw it and your not explaining enough different plays
Sorry you're having a bad experience with it, what rank are you in? It is hard this season to play through all the hand traps I totally agree. The last replay showed a route to go timaeus and dm to dragoon. I'm changing the deck around and I've gotten it to the point where I can a lot of the time fall back on dragoon after I get hand trapped a bunch. Don't give up just yet. I will be making a lot of videos this week about combos for the deck.

@@davidcarroll3033 i dont blame you at all. In the past i tried to curb over optimism bc it's still a weak deck but now is a lot better.

If it's not DM, what is it? 3 URs for the branded stuff (Lube, albion, branded fusion). Fair enough if you wanna play Dragoon turbo it'll get you some wins for sure.

@@bmoney7909 I dont blame him or anyone for saying it. Some people like to play more DM cards and that's fine, if you look at most meta decks they're never pure. We gotta modernize DM.

YEAH SCRAPED THIS FOR BRANDED DRAGOON AND ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE...this is cool for dark magician lovers but your gonna go threw a sweat shop trying to hit diamond with this deck if your playing ranked theres better options
If the question is dm vs branded then yes, it's not even close. Branded has been a top tier deck for years ofc it'll be better. With that said people have hit master with this list but it is definitely challenging.
