I don't care what anyone says, a set the Flying Ford Anglia on it's own with no building alongside it for around $15 is an absolute win! 🚗✨️
I’m happy that there’s finally a Ford Anglia that actually fits Harry & Ron side by side.
I know people don’t love this set, but it’s nice to have an affordable solo Ford Anglia set!
The only ones complaining are people that already have the car, so they don't care for it and criticize it despite it being nice to have for a lot of people honestly
I would have love it to be a speed champions set, in line with the James Bond and fast and furious cars

Ron's outfit we've had before, but this torso is actually new. 😉
Harry and Ron's torsos are both new, the outfits got remade with brand new and updated prints, idk why almost no one noticed that

It's a nice affordable model for people who missed out on previous versions or simply want the car by itself. Nothing insane or out of ordinary, but serviceable nonetheless

I swear to god that the Ford Anglia is becoming the Luke’s Landspeeder of the Harry Potter wave. Expect a UCS version any day now!
At least this is more iconic and saw a lot more action in *_Chamber of Secrets_* than Luke's landspeeder did in *_A New Hope._*

Ron's torso is new, it was previously dark tan. Scabbers has only had the extra head printing in the CMF series in 2018 and has appeared in other sets without it
I really hope we get more Speed Champions type sets with other themes. Especially with marvel as there aren’t too many that I could see Lego doing, really only Red Skulls car and the race car Tony drives in Iron Man 2. It would be a nice way to get Peggy Carter and the more iconic look for Whiplash

Yep Lego definitely needs to incorporate these paper bags as part of their mini figure series
Apparently they've tested it and when you've got a bunch of people feeling the minifigures the bags aren't that strong.

I"m mainly into Lego for vehicules, of course Speed Champions is my main attraction.
I am too old to appreciate Harry Potter and I have none set from that licence but this Ford Anglia : I must have it and I will even put inside all the characters.
That review makes me want to have it even more, so thank you and thank you Lego.

Got it from the willow set all those years and just that white top does not last turn straight yellow so definitely might get this one on it own

Very surprising that it's light royal blue and not medium blue like all previous versions!
The sticker on the inside next to the wheel is not the radio, it’s the button that they press to make the car invisible

Does this set fit fully sized minifigures with the longer legs, if you were to modify the seats?
I was hoping it was going to be a real Speed Champions scaled up to the current Speed Champions size. That would have set it apart from the others that came out before.
Harry’s torso is actually new, the old one had red buttons instead of silver like the new one, and the old one had pockets unlike this new one. But other than that, it’s pretty much almost identical
Maybe nice to compare this in a video with the whomping willow set version and the Privet Drive set one.

I'm not a big Harry Potter Lego fan but when I head of this set I had to have it. The car and scene are so iconic. Too bad the windscreen (British) is scratched! They should have had clear parts to make it look like it's flying.
For those saying they don't like this set, the improvement compared to the others is that Harry and Ron can sit side by side! And enough room for Hedwig in the backseat. That's what this set is for. They have improved it!

It would have been smart of LEGO to add either unique minifigures to this set or at least include a printed version of the license plate this time to entice those customers who already have the previous Anglia version.
The interrupted white line on the door remains a mystery for my. It is on all the different Anglias, produced by Lego. Probably caused by the door handle, disturbing the printing process.
Sorry Ash but gotta point it out. Both torsos are unique. Compare them with the one in the whomping willow set and they are different. Ron now doesn't have creases on the torso and Harry has creases higher on his blue shirt. They are new which surprised me cause it's a cheap set haha.
The New slope piece Honestly reminds me of fake Lego, but I think it's gonna be useful

Wait so in Europe, it's paper bags, but in America (not sure if any other place) we get plastic bags? I mean it's still a good set.
I believe paper bags are being brought out all together at once by region. So whatever this factory this came from most likely all are shipping stuff out with paper

There are only 3 stickers in this set.
I’m still not a huge fan of those paper bags. They may be more environmentally friendly, but they do spoil the experience a bit.
Same I been building Lego since the early 2000’s I’m 27 years old now and paper bags seem so odd😂

Lego should make more minifig scale vehicles that aren't race cars. I don't even like Harry Potter and I kinda want to get this. (Don't worry, I'll buy it aftermarket so I don't give money to JK Rowling)

I don't have any other sets of the car so definitely gonna get this. It's too bad that Lego's objective was not to design a Ford Anglia model, but to remake a model from their previous sets.
Designer notes on brickset say Atticus' priority for this one was to figure out a way to have two minifigs inside side by side. Otherwise - yes, they're essentially doing remakes, refining what they made before while staying as true as they can to the source material.
This looks like a very solid set. People aren't gonna be super excited because the Anglia is in a lot of sets, but having it as a solo set is definitely worth it.
That being said it's a pass for me.
