- France backs the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the "fight against impunity", its foreign ministry said after the court's prosecutor sought an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and three Hamas leaders. Why use the adjective "democracy" each time for Israel?
"Democracy" doesn't equate with "adherence to international human rights".
Iran is going to vote again in a few weeks, why not slap "democracy" each time Iran is talked about then?

yes you are right, every nation has the right to defend itself. Like Ukraine defends itself bravely on their own territory. And Rostov, Belgorod and Moskow still stand even though there are drone and rocket attacks every day. The Hamas Terrorists need to be punished and their leaders taken to court. To be fair they are also seeking arrest warrants for Hamas at the same time, unlike those student protesters.
That’s the thing, they believe international law should ONLY apply to non-western countries and countries not allied with the United States while the rest can do whatever they want with impunity in perpetuity. 🙃
The students are protesting the sending of weapons used to kill civilians and the supporting of a country blocking aid to civilians. If a country were to send weapons to Hamas they would protest against that also.
