The music of the Scott Brothers deserves a WORLD-WIDE audience and not limited to the few who can attend in person. Thank you so much for allowing the world to access your beautiful music and photography. How talented you are, and how blessed we are to be able to witness it through on-line resources!

Love the camera Tom has at the back of the pedalboard. We get to see the master's feet flying across the pedals. No one even remotely rivals Tom's organ and piano videography. These online concerts exude the labor of love it must be for both gentlemen. What gifts they gives us!

Tom is so clever in his camera placement! I make a game of trying to spot the cameras when I am watching their concerts. There's always one at the end of one of the manuals, and usually one under the bench where Jonathan sits, and others on tripods nearby. I know can't find them all, since they're so tiny, but I can guess where they are! I think Tom genuinely enjoys exploring different angles!

I've always loved Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, the defined movements and energy. The phrasing is so dynamic with overt builds and dives of purposeful motion and intent. No noodling here. But this may be one of the best versions I've heard. Interesting to hear it with just the organ. And the fact that you can play complex, intricate passages with your feet is simply amazing. I applaud your effort and mastery. Singular.

It is wonderful to see the beautiful building, and the sound of the organ is magnificent. I especially enjoyed the Bach Fantasia. It was truly haunting and through masterful hands and registration changes it kept me involved throughout. The Fugue was exciting to hear, as well. Usually organists are hidden away, so listeners don’t understand the challenges faced by the performers. You must be able to perform, but just as important are the registration choices. These performances are always well played and extremely well recorded for us all to see in varied places around the world. Thank you so much.

Another magnificent performance. This is the cure for anyone with blood pressure issues. There are great swells but there is also so very much peace! I look forward to another piano and organ concert. Those are undoubtedly my favorites. If only I had the talent (I'd settle for 1% of the talent) you two have. I love ringing handbells and love it when accompanied by the organ or the piano or even both!!
Thanks again for sharing your talents with the world. Thanks to your parents for developing not one but two virtuosos. I don't know their musical talents but they undoubtedly have a magical combination of genes!

I was lucky enough to be present at the concert and it really was fantastic. What a generous programme of music (there was an encore, too) and every piece was a gem. I’m sure that Kriéger would be delighted that such an exponent as Jonathan introduced his Toccata to those of us who were unfamiliar with it; I bet that Mahler would have approved of the wonderful transcription of his Adagietto, too. Not having the best view of Jonathan’s hands and feet at the concert, I appreciate all over again Tom’s amazing videography. Well done, both of you!

Last night I searched for Palladio and listened to an orchestral version of it. It was nice, and I liked that it was a tribute to the classical architect. I also read his (Jenkins) Wikipedia biography. "Palladio" sounded like he was copying bits by many other composers. I assume the first movement was the encore Jonathan played, and I was surprised to discover it was the music for those diamond commercials back in the 80s. Another surprise - Jenkins played a part in Tubular Bells. Seems like an interesting fellow. I'll have to do some more searching and listening on Karl Jenkins, too.

Hi Jonathan - I come back to this performance, yet again. For some unknown reason, the poignancy/sadness of JSB's Fantasia (& Fugue) in C Minor BWV 537 keeps entering my mind whenever I think of (and see) the utter tragedy/carnage that is occurring in the Ukraine; it brings tears to my eyes every time.! God bless the brave and inspirational people of Ukraine! 🇺🇦

I used to go to Ripon Cathedral when I was at secondary school and the music teacher used to say the organ was a dog. Seems like it was just his playing 😆

I love the fact the organ makeup involves so many pieces and layers enclosed in an acoustically friendly venue. The best part is hearing Jonathan perform on the organ at a wide variety of venues.Thank You!!

Such wonderful music played by Jonathan and accompanied by Tom’s superb filming and recording, as always. Seeing the interior of this magnificent cathedral almost makes you feel as if you are there in person listening to the exquisite music. Thank you so much Jonathan and Tom for sharing these concerts with us.👏👏👏

I have heard the Guilmant piece before, after all, but Krieger is totally new to me, so I am always making discoveries in these concerts! It was quite interesting to hear the Adagietto from Mahler's 5th on the organ. I remember the NY Philharmonic, conducted by Bernstein, played that at the funeral of Bobby Kennedy at St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC in 1968, as I watched that on TV at the time. Since then, I've always thought of it as a sad, funereal piece. This seemed a little lighter in mood. This program really did display many of the organ's orchestral sounds. Some organs make these compositions sound better on the organ than with an orchestra! Thanks for continuing to give us online concerts, Jonathan, even though it must mean double work for you and Tom! 💗🎹💗

Yes, please continue to post your concerts and other tasty tidbits. I might never have discovered you two without the internet. What a loss that would have been.
Can't help but wonder about all the wedding gowns displayed in the background. ??

Ripon is a small town of about 15,000 people. Admission to the cathedral is free but they needs to raise money. Hence the display of wedding gowns.

This is again absolutely wonderful. What a superb mastery of the "tool box" provided by the organ builders. The fresh faced Mr Scott, ably supported by his brother adds nuance with the stories about the composer's; I can well imagine Edward Elgar to offer to partner Strauss; Elgar's labours merely adds to his standing in the world of music. Keep it up!!

Marvelous. You will blow your "in person" audience away. Good luck for a full church. From Chicago, U.S.A, 1:38 P.M. ( Mozart afternoon music here).
