    Apologies for any confusion caused.
    In the video 1:15
    I mentioned that the entry is free for students. However, after verifying the information by calling their official number at 8087889507,
    I learned that the entry is not free for students, and student IDs are not considered valid for free entry.
    Instead, they accept School or College Letterheads, which can be shown to avail tickets at a discounted price of 30Rs per person.
    Please note the corrected information. I regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your understanding.

      Glad you liked the Video 😇
      Now to answer your question about the difficulty level of trek for beginners.
      The Karnala Fort trek involves a trail through a forested area with a mix of gradual inclines and some steeper sections.
      The total trek distance is around 5 kilometers and can take around 2-3 hours to reach the top, depending on your pace and fitness level.
      The trail can be uneven in places, and there are steps and rocky terrain to navigate.
      Wear appropriate trekking shoes, carry enough water and snacks, and be cautious while walking on uneven surfaces.
      Enjoy the views and breeze at the top and have a memorable trek with your friends Meghna 😇

      What fitness preparation you suggest for the trek ? How many breaks you took ?

    • @LetsGoKori
      @LetsGoKori  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey@@naturelover7409,
      Thanks for checking out the video and showing interest in the Karnala Fort trek!
      I'm glad you enjoyed it.
      In terms of fitness preparation,
      I'd recommend focusing on cardiovascular endurance and leg strength.
      Regular cardio exercises like jogging, cycling, or brisk walking can help improve your stamina. Additionally, incorporating leg exercises such as squats and lunges can be beneficial for tackling the uneven terrain.
      During the trek, we took a few short breaks to rest and catch our breath.
      It's important to listen to your body and pace yourself.
      We stopped at a couple of scenic spots along the way, which not only allowed us to rest but also to take in the stunning views.
      Remember, the number of breaks can vary depending on your fitness level and comfort, so don't hesitate to take breaks whenever you feel the need.
      Hope these tips help you prepare for your own trekking adventure!
      Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
      Happy Trekking!

      @@LetsGoKorithanks for elaborate reply. 1 can swimming help instead of running or brisk walk ? I do squats, lunges etc.
      2 last time when I went few years back, we could trek only till a village sign that comes on the trek route and theres a sitting place there . How much percentage is that ? How tough is it from there ? The ascent has very big steps made out of tree roots which are difficult to climb.

    • @LetsGoKori
      @LetsGoKori  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@naturelover7409 You're absolutely right. Swimming is indeed beneficial for trekking as it enhances endurance and breath control. However, regular walking is crucial too, as the muscle usage patterns during swimming and trekking vary slightly.
      If I'm not mistaken, the village sign appears after entering the main plateau of Karnala Fort, signifying completion of around 75% of the trek. Beyond that point, there's just one incline patch left. Subsequently, the actual fort trek commences, featuring sections with stairs. The stair-climbing segment can be challenging, but the presence of railings provides assistance. Moreover, the trek remains feasible due to the presence of tree roots. Some sections lack these roots, and they tend to be the slipperiest and trickiest parts of the entire journey. Nature has conveniently created pathways for us to ascend, allowing us to relish the refreshing breeze at the summit and admire the splendid fort. 😇

      Hello 👋
      Trekking challenging ho sakta hai,
      lekin Karnala Fort ek accha option hai beginners ke liye 😉
      Agar aap pehli baar trek kar rahe hain,
      toh yaad rakhein:
      - Comfortable shoes aur kapde pehnein
      - Pani aur snacks ka sahi quantity saath main le jayein
      - Regular breaks lein, views ka aanand lete hue
      - Agar ho sake, guided group mein ya trekking buddy ke saath jayein
      Dhyaan rakhein, apne sharir ki suniye aur comfortable feel hone tak hi jaayein.
      Trek lagbhag 2.5 se 3 ghante ka hai oneside aur ise moderate difficulty level mana jaata hai 🙏
      Aap kar sakte hain 🌸

    How long it take to reach from base to top,are there fear of wild animals?is there any eatery or food stall along the way?

    • @LetsGoKori
      @LetsGoKori  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The journey from the base to the summit usually takes 2 to 3 hours.
      There's no significant concern about wild animals, but there are monkeys around that might snatch food from your hand.
      You'll find two canteens - one at the entry point and another at the base - with no other eateries or food stalls beyond that.

      Hello Nilesh👋
      I completely understand your interest in enjoying a barbecue, but I would like to respectfully suggest that Karnala Fort might not be the most appropriate location for it.
      This historic fort holds great cultural and architectural significance, and it's essential to treat it with respect and dignity.
      Instead of a picnic spot, let's appreciate it for its historical value and beauty.
      Let's explore and enjoy the fort's surroundings without compromising its sanctity.
