- If you are a fmg and you want to settle in pakistan, then you must be ready for the things that you would never have expected.
Only 30/40% students pass nle1 and 5-10% pass nle2 every year. Pmdc is only conducting these exams once a year recently and passing percentage has gone up by 70%. Even if you pass the exams, you wont be able to get the residency spot in THQS/DHQS. For BHU Medical Officer seat, the ratio to get a seat is 5/1000 and that is too with connections and filling their pockets.
We live is a country where 10,000 people are attended to by just one physician on average. According to the Higher Education Commission (HEC), 15,000 doctors leave the country every year.
Given these numbers, why does the government not make use of the many doctors that are available and only too willing to help?
It is not surprising that the US, UK and now the Middle East have become the biggest importers of doctors from Pakistan, with the latter now even recognising Pakistani doctors without any further examinations and giving them 20 times the amount of remuneration that they could have ever received in Pakistan.

Pmdc and housjob hue hue 1.5 years hogye hai and jobless baita hu abhi thk kuch na milna bhi wajah hai aur kuch main khud nahi kerna chah raha because just like you said i feel the same that working 8 to 12hr for just 45k cant justify the time, struggle or the money we have spent in doing mbbs ! As a Pakistani doing MBBS from China or other countries is not recommended at all. There is so much time wasting. These days even doing MBBS from Pakistan government colleges is not worth at all.

As someone who took usmle for my path, I totally second all of this.
I want to quit I am second year mbbs student i am doing mbbs from china and i am at my phase of my life i want Peace this degree give me so much stress that i have panic attacks today i decided to quit i really don't know what to do now to quit or not .
No brother you have a lot of time study hard and go for USMLE, PLAB AMC. There are a lot of options.
Don't stay in Pakistan after graduation.

Very very sad. These crooks will pay for it eventually. I’m a girl and left my family (living in KSA 😢 coz there were no opportunities for them either) country everything at 18 to study in turkey. I’ve been crushed by the systems here but I know there’s nothing back home for me.

I was very optimistic when I finished my hj. But after 1.5 year I realised k doob k marr jana zyada asan hai. Now I earn 45k after doing 60hrs per week and even that is spent in the transport because I travel for 2hrs each day. This is an effed up life.

Its ok but doing clinic during house job is not justified and also with out any speciality a person doesnot have sufficient knowledge to treat any disease as u are doing ms you will understand it better the difference between treating ptnts then and now .. becoming a consultant is not that easy in pakistan

And the worst thing that we experience while not having a reliable job "itna parh k b yhi milna tha to kya faida hua ap logon ko". Situation is same everywhere, economy crisis in our country are getting worst day by day, dont know what will happen in coming 4 to 5 years and those who are undergraduates. I think to move from Pakistan is the last option one can have after so many disappointments, depression and responsiblities..... So do what u think will be good for you and your family. A country that doesnt even give u life security how can u expect something else.

I think Pakistan main Mbbs Na to Private hona chaiye aur na hi China Russia Kazakhstan se karna allow hona chaiye jab tak saturation hai qn ke at the end jo apne merit par mbbs main aate hain woh middle class log hi suffer karte hain. Ameer private mbbs kar ke sifarish bhi kara lete ya plab ki attemts de de ke nikal hi jaate qn ke plab ki fee unke liye kuch value nahin rakhti.

Same goes for engineers but got to say that most of the newly graduated engineers in Pakistan are useless for the companies. Most of them have no skills and knowledge and are not industry ready at all. I don't know about the doctors.
Doctors were also good to go couple of years ago. But you can say, downfall of doctors has just started and gonna be worse with passing each day.

@UsmanShafiqueVlogs I think MRCP was safer, and it also would carry to the destination where you think you should be. Money would come anyway during that, and steadily, you would be financially stable. I think you did this in some kind of mental pressure.
