Always funny when you are happy to be out in the rain. Your logic made perfect sense to me. I'd much rather prefer rain and overcast than hot, humid and sunny day where you are being advised to stay indoors. Thanks for sharing this trip!
Ice age Trail sounds great! Didn't see dinosauruses? Sometimes rain can be good! I also like to pick and eat berries on trail! 😁 Good hike you did there! Have a nice day! Greetz from Belgium 😀
Lol! No, no dinosaurs..... it's called the ice age trail because most of the trail goes through areas for by glaciers. Lol it was a pretty awesome hike though.
I have so much fun watching you videos.!So bummed you got a ticket. Don’t have to deal with the Sticker thing in PA. Happy fall equinox! Be well and Trail on!!
Yeah we didnt even think about because we had a sticker on one Jeep but then opted to bring both Jeeps so we didn't have to use the shuttles. Most of those shuttle drivers are retirees and we didn't want to possibly expose anyone given the pandemic. Ooops!
Just found your videos. Great content. I'm looking to do the Ice Age trail and trying to decide between Kettle Moraine North vs South. Do you have any thoughts on which is better? Thanks!
Both the Kettle Moraine sections are VERY busy. Camping is only at backcountry sites or shelters which require advanced reservations. I'd recommend making your reservation at least 8 weeks prior to your trip. Also make sure you have a Wisconsin park sticker on your car or you will get a ticket. I personally liked this section quite a bit. Sarah hated the Whitewater segment but I thought there was a cute campground there!
That noise sounded wolfy before the thunder ⛈️⚡
Hope no tornado and just rain ☔🌧️
Hi Samantha and Sarah
20 mile day is awesome Samantha.

Nice hike. 20 miles...👍. Cool music. Crow✌️
It was sure nice to get back out there again.
Beautiful scenery. Looks like a great hike!
It is a serene section of the trail.
@@LoneCrowAdventures What's the total distance of that trail?
Great video. Followed a link you posted on the backpacking creators Facebook page.
Thanks for taking the time to check it out! I appreciate it!

We did have a pretty great time on this trip. I remember it fondly!!!!
Great job! I'm planning to hike the Whitewater segment over the next couple of weeks. I'll bring a screwdriver to fix the brochure box lol.
I swear I barely breathed on that thing and it attacked me!
Maybe there will finally be a use of the screwdriver attachment on the multi tool????
Sweet looking trip. Looks like you two had fun!!!
Yeah it sure was. Thanks for checking it out.
Amazing backpacking trip! Keep it up!
Thanks for taking the time to check it out

@@LoneCrowAdventures For me Ice age is the movie with all those cute characters. 😁 But glaciers are so beautiful! Enjoy them while we still can! 😀
Yum! Berries! What a treat on a backpacking trip!
Unexpected surprise
I found you from Senior Hiker 77, and glad I did. Loved this video.
Thanks for taking the time to check it out!
Great hike! It's 46*F here this morning on the first day of Fall! Keep on those trails and keep up the great work!
I love fall! It's by far my favorite season!
@@LoneCrowAdventures For sure!
Nice to see both of you backpacking on the Ice Age Trail again. Please keep these videos coming.
You betcha. Glad to be back out too.

If I go in wjere the bike trails are, the blue loop..etc..I live out here. Can I hike in and camp or do I need permits
You need to reserve the shelters which can be tough to get.
Any area secluded enough to legally target practice with firearms?
No! I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. It is an extremely popular segment and tons of people plus a heavy DNR presence.

My son and I are doing an overnight to backpack site #2 june 21. Cant wait!
I bet someone is missing those under britches!
It was rather strange placement of the britches if I do say myself. No other items around them. Weird. Accident and abandoned?
Somebody pooped themselves and left their undies in the woods.
Oh no! Probably that's what happened. Too much 🥓 for breakfast!
