The Lone Wanderer is living the american dream with all that weaponry in his home and he is yet to explore all that the Capital Wasteland has to offer.
I have recently played the outer worlds again after getting the dlc and there is something about it and new vegas that i value so much and that i dont see people talking about enough. That thing is player choice, just think, there is no protected npc in outer worlds or new vegas (excluding children for legal reasons). And almost all of the npcs present some consequence for getting killed. Not only that but the choice to play without killing anyone at all is also true and it also has its consequences. That is without counting the myriad of ways you can solve a quest using different skills and attributes. And that is something that i find lacking i modern rpgs, the closest thing we got recently is Baldur is gate since it takes the same approach to its storytelling. It makes me think of how cyberpunk basically has no rpg elements besides the immersive 1st person view and some player choices here and there. Like the amount of time i wanted to shoot a npc just to find out they are immortal because the story the creators want to tell is more important than the one i want to play. Makes the whole character creation pointless to be honest if i gotta play a character made by the devs what the point of me choosing how said character looks? Not that cyberpunk or other similar games are bad games mind you, its just they fell like bad rpgs. Anyway sorry about the rant marshal, just didn't know where to post it without fear of prosecution by internet fanboys. Thanks for the videos they have been a salvation for my mental health these months cheers.
@@ghunter0939 you're always welcome to rant and dump options here. I enjoy hearing other people's insight for games. Also glad I can help in these trying times, but hope things are improving for ya as well.
I would say Planescape Torment is the best example of having a character made for you but still allowing you to make him your own in terms of roleplay. If you want to lie that you have a name, no one will stop you. I also agree about Obsidian they really pushed for choice in Blow the Man Down quest in Deadfire. I dare say they inovated more when it comes to CRPGs with Tyranny than Larian did with Baldur's Gate 3.
Fourth videos idea for you: - gears of war: judgement - gears: tactics - gears 3: raam’s shadow - gears of war 1 - gears of war 2 - gears of war 3 - gears: judgment - aftermath - gears of war 4 - gears of war 5 - gears 5: hivebusters
kinda surprised they didn't code some negative reaction to you walking into a brotherhood of steel base with a litteral slave in tow. Yes i'm aware she's coded as a regular follower but like..i'm pretty sure hteir super anti-slaver or maybe i'm misremembering. just seems like something they should ahve reacted too at least :P
There's a lot of things they just didn't account for or think about. Like how the Outcasts are within walking distance of an atomic bomb they'd no doubt want pried away from Megaton.
Wheaton Armory. Am no Trekkie, but my mind suddenly associates it with some guy named Wil. Lots of Raiders. I actually thought they're infinite spawners. Big Haul score: Lone Wanderer 2 or 3 or 4, Enclave 0. Hmm, selling lots of surplus for the Enclave, hmm, though for some reason, seeing you also sell Nuka-Cola seems disheartening... maybe it's because it's not Ice Cold? Karma's still low for Star Paladin Cross, huh? Any chance Knight Captain Gallows' real name is Irving Dennis Malone?
And that my friend is how you properly cleave some heads lmao!
@@blacksamurai76 just wish I could have a proper challenge. Hardest thing right now is not falling asleep or forgetting locations of the loot.

Hey when you get the chance you should do the Reilly's Rangers quest that starts in Underworld. My favorite quest of F03 plus the rewards are awesome!
