Thanks for watching but I don't know why your thanking ANGFA I'm the one that filmed all these videos, I am a member but they haven't had a part in it, I just give them the occasional mention to encourage others to join 🙂
You know, I went to the Daintree a couple times looking for wildlife, and I never thought to look for rainbowfish in the creeks and streams. But, then again, I was too scared to get near the water after seeing huge crocs in the Daintree River and Cooper's Creek. 😅 The only fish I ended up seeing were mudskippers. That said, great footage! Thank you so much for sharing!
My home region! Another aweseome video! The water is insanely clear! These rainbows are insanely good jumpers too! I remember when i was a kid we kept a couple in a 4ft tank and we could hear them jumping at the glass lid for a few days before they settled in.
Wow, how beautiful, very good video, I have 4 adult trifasciata in my 600 l, they are beautiful fish. It is very happy to see that there are still rivers in the world without chemicals or plastics.
Yes those tree roots are full of fish, I saw a couple of small Eel tailed catfish in there to, but they didn't venture out much and it was pretty deep and dark so hard to get good film of.
A very beautiful place, I really like such places with tropical vegetation, although I have never been to them. Thanks to you, I can be in these places and admire the nature of these places. At 2:21 onwards, a small fish swam at the very bottom, its name is interesting, it is similar to the River Goby (this is a local species of Eastern Europe).
My favorite australian rainbows fish. I hope, i can know more rainbows fish from australia. Hmmm... sir, do you have social media? I want to ask some rainbows fish type. I keep some type of rainbows fish at my tank. From bosemani colour type yellow, glossolepis insicus, lake kutubu striata, australian, robustriata splendida, parva and i have 1 type again. But, i dont know thats one. Can you help me?

Thank you! yes one of their downfalls the jumping, but I guess it helps them when creeks are low.
Thanks again!

Had to watch a second time to see where that Jungle Perch came from, there was a couple deep in the cover on the far side. Thick rainbows. Very cool.

Thank you! it is a False Celebes Goby (Glossogobius illimus) pretty common in the crees up there.

Nice! Cheers

Mate I’m thinking a whole series of continental biotope videos- how about we start in Thailand , and south east Asia!
There are already a heap of them, I'd prefer to get people interested in ours 🙂
What are the plants with the roots groing in the water. I want to build a Daintree Aquarium Terrarium combination.
Climbing Pandanus (Freycinetia scandens) not an aquatic just hanging in the water off the surrounding trees.
@@australianbiotopes4563 but its roots will filter nitrogen to grow.....
@@andreasknogler585 Yes you could grow it out of the tank, it would be good for that, I have two I want to use for a back wall on a paludarium.
I assume Signifers here as well?
Yes they are in most of the creeks in the region,, but vary slightly in size and colour.
@@australianbiotopes4563 Thank you so much. I’m building a biotope around them and your videos have been a great resource.
