Bought a Tempest couple of months ago and so far it has been a pleasure to ride. Great styling and a smooth, comfortable ride. Definitely recommend it to anybody considering buying.
I’m struggling to get to 60mph on mine. I agree it is very smooth and easy to ride but swapping the 15T front sprocket for a 16T to improve the top end a bit
Sat on this today at MCN Bike show Excel London. I was very happy to finally see it in person. Now I hope to test ride it sometime soon. Very Very Very cool bike. Gave me a lot of confidence. Going to be my first bike, very likely. Super excited.
Picked mine up yesterday from my local dealership in Newton Abbot. Thrilled with looks, handling, brakes and exhaust sound. Anxiously waiting to get the running in kms done though, as keeping it below the recommended 5k rpm gives it a power delivery akin to a restricted moped.
Very interested in getting one for commuting to work, i use mainly badly surfaced lanes in dorset so it looks more up to it than my burgman, this bike would look awesome in olive drab!!
I'm really in love with this bike! How this beauty handles the London traffic? I was wondering if this could be my next purchase for commuting to work, I'm Italian but I live in Haringay since almost one year. Are financial options available also for non UK citizens? Where can I go to take a look at one of these beautiful tempest bikes? (I do have noticed the martini decal as well, it reminded me of the old Lancia Delta from the golden era of rally) Cheers and thanks for the video!
Thanks for the comment. You would need to check with your local dealer for details of finance options. Your nearest dealers can be found here www.lexmoto.co.uk/dealers.php?search=n22&model=LJ125-9A
I need to supply and demand rear brake pad parts. But can't it be delivered to Korea? I logged in from the CMPO site and kept saying, "Look like you're missing some details.'Shipping Postcode'" . I resistered Postcode But .. It keeps popping up that the postcode has been missed. I don't know why. I hope they deliver it to Korea. I love Tempest 125. can't it be delivered to Korea?
I have just bought this bike, I'm in the UK, however the speedometer is in km rather than mph , how can I change this feature? , I have checked the user manual but doesn't state if I can do it in there , any help would be much appreciated
Yup, it says on the digital part of the speedometer. On of the main reasons I got this one instead of one with a more classic style all analog speedometer.
Had this bike a month and it's been stolen already hahaha. Got it back replaced everything apart from the tank as it's all dented an the tanks don't get released for another week 😊
I’m seriously considering getting one of these but I am concerned about the reliability. I have owned a Lexmoto scout which was fine but the scout Is just the same as most other 50 mopeds so I sort of knew it wouldn’t go wrong plus I didn’t pay much for it so didn’t mind to much if it was to go wrong. This would be a fairly big purchase for me at 17 so would hate it to endlessly go wrong. Are both colours still available?
Considering getting one of these myself, even at 26 it's still a big investment! From looking around and listening to different people, the main thing seems to be how you care for it, just make sure you get it serviced every now and then and it should last. From what I've heard, the gold and black ones seem to be quite rare, and ive also been led to believe they have a humped seat (for two people). My heart is set on the styling though, hoping to pick mine up next week.
Nice, let me know how you get on with it. Would be really interested to hear. The yellow and black one would probably be the one I would personally want and I do amazingly have a Lexmoto Dealer in the town I live in so do plan on ordering it brand new from there so would hope that would allow me to select either colour but if anyone can advise on that if that’s not so
Hi lexmoto, could you do another video on the venom efi please? Your first ride video is like literally the only video on youtube regarding the EFI model. Im really interested in buying one. Thanks guys!

I've been waiting for a review of this one. Looks great. What is the tank capacity and mpg? Thinking about adding a 125 to the garage for some back lane bimbling and this one is top of my list so far
Hi Elliot, Originally we intended to run the Valiant and Tempest side my side. When we went out on a group ride we found the Tempest to be a class above the Valiant so opted to develop the Tempest GT. The two bikes are from different factories. The Valiant is from Qingqi Pioneer. These are the guys that make for Sinnis, Herald & Mutt. The Longjia factory is who make the Tempest and they really know their stuff. You'll find the Tempest motor on a range of other models in the lineup such as the Michigan, ZSX-F and even in other brands like the Sinnis Terrain.

Will it hold 55 to 60 mph, without struggling ? Or dose it take a lifetime to get to those speeds?
Holds 55/60 very well, dosent take to long considering the engine is only 10 BHP

Just sat on one of these . I'm 6ft 1 and its a nice size bike to be fair
Has anyone told you, you sound like an airline pilot?
I’d consider one of these for a to and from work bike.
I will pass this on! They are brilliant bikes and perfect for commuting.
I have the french version of this one, the Orcal NK01, brilliant motorbike, I love it.

Hi. Fair point. There's nothing stopping you having it resprayed if you wanted.
I've just purchased this exact bike WJ18 PB0 😂 wondered why the miles were low for a 18 plate. Any info you can pass on would be great !
Unusual that AJS are making a model called Tempest as well ? Cheers shane uk 🇬🇧

LINDA MOTO,SERIA BOM TER ESSA MARCA AQ NO BRASIL ..
adoraríamos distribuir no Brasil, mas precisamos de um distribuidor
Elas nao valem nada. Aqui na inglaterra e considerada lixo. Eu tive uma lex, joguei no lixo com 5mil milhas. Sao bem baratas.......
Lovely bike. What kind of fuel economy can we expect from it?

Seen on over the weekend and I could swear it was like 250 plus, now knowing it is only 125 well still looks bigger than it appear to be.
What warranty does it come with?
Lexmoto 125cc models come with 2 years parts & labour warranty + 12 complimentary recovery. Hope this helps :)
Looks a lot like the AJS TEMPEST. I like the white version best.
The white version is russian flag. the black one is better i think
What’s its max speed?
Look on the website
Top speed?
Good afternoon Dominic,
I can confirm that the max speed of the tempest 125cc is 100 kph.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,

it's a Scrambler style bike,not a cafe racer!
Yes you're right
looks amazing. too bad no one wants to sell theirs. seems they love them too much
They're still still available new :)
The GS engine has quite a few more hp tho
It was good under Euro 3 but we've not been as happy with it under Euro 4.
Price your bike right. 😑
