Wonderful! I was 18 years old in 1982 when I first watched Blade Runner. One of the most exciting movie experiences of my life.
I felt the same way when I first saw it...
GOOD! You saw the original theatrical version, which was the best. The later Director's Cut actually had the temerity to TAKE OUT Deckard's voice-over, absolutely ruining the film!
@@conanthegreat4418Neither Scott nor Ford originally intended to include a VO - this was forced in against the wishes of both by the studio, along with the ‘happy ending’ scrounged together using B-footage from The Shining. That’s partially why Ford sounds so unenthused while delivering his lines, and why in later cuts - where Scott had full creative control - both the narration and the ending driving scene were removed.
Amazing. Seeing people moving around through the windows emphasizes the massive scale of the towers...

Incredible video. Takes me back. Went to the theater with Mark Lanegan and Scott Davis. Watched in complete and utter awe. After sat in Marks dad's truck and all we could talk about was the strange ambiance, the background music and who the f#@k is this Rutger Hauer. Smoked a bunch more weed and went right back in and watched it again. I will be watching and/or listening to this for a long time to come. Well done.

So many new elements. The cables stretched between buildings creates new flying hazards.
Humans pacing within and between buildings add to realism.
Other spinners breezing by without collision.
You almost forget there are no DOOH flat screens on buildings this time.
Extra credit for the use of shadows. I prefer them to the hazy diffused light.
